Hello, presenting you ANOTHER new soft key modification representing minimalism.
Note: The icons used for this modification are extracted from the SystemUI.apk. The 'home' icon was however edited by me and the small menu icon (which appears in some applications like Facebook/Whatsapp etc) is MADE by me to match these dot keys.
The best part of these keys are - No matter how small you make the navigation bar, they look the same. I love them!
Instructions to Install -
Put the file in your device's internal storage.
Flash it through Recovery

i really like this mod but i wonder if you could make it a bit brighter, very hard to see on that black background. maybe a white or ics blue?

Didn't flash for me.... I mean it flashed.... but nothing changed though :-/

my status bar and nav bar are now missing. when i hold the power button it reboots my phone. how can i fix? i didnt make a backup cuz im lazy.. -.- my fault i know.

Wipe cache and dalvik and reflash your rom and you should be fine.

Yeah I really like this mod too. I've used it for several days now but I do agree it would be perfect if it was just a little bit of a brighter gray.

Version 2 of the keys are now up - Keys are made brighter now.

Yeah same here. I just reflashed my rom and flashed the v2 soft keys fresh and it didn't seem to do anything.

Oops! I'm sorry, I'll rework on this!

If you guys are running aokp you can change the colors of the dots. I changed mine to ics blue and it looks great.

Huge problem guys. Settings the brightness up for these keys reduce the quality and make the image pixelated. I'm going to have to manually design the keys now!

Oh no, ICS keyboard is different then JB.
And so far i'm trying to decompile JB framework/apk's with no luck

Been trying to decompile JB files for the last three hours with no luck. getting many errors when using ICS apktool

Hello Everyone,
In preparation for Assassins Creed 3, I made these soft keys for myself, but then I thought "Why should I be the only one to use these?"
This will work on any rom which has support for custom navigation bar icons. Ex.Codename(Android), AOKP, etc

could you clarify, I dont understand what you mean.
All icons are pngs, so they all retain their transparency

The glow is only partial, it seems like the pictures are not transparent in the area were they should be...

Hey, I recently flashed the 2.5 Paranoid Android, and I came across your soft key mod.
In Paranoid Android, there are settings for the navigation bar, but nothing to let me change the actual key image. I'm not sure if I just haven't found the settings yet, or if they don't exist. But either way, got any helpful information for me using these kickass keys?

I haven't used Paranoid Android myself, but from what I have heard it doesnt have the option to change softkey images. I know for a fact that AOKP and Codename(Android) have these options, Maybe try out those?

Im working on adding more than just softkeys to this.

I used hassan's port, and long pressing the keys would result in a force close. Is that bug present in this keyboard?
Absolutely fantastic work should try theme/port a music player next (the one in RemICS v6 doesn't have notification drawer controls...)

unfortunately yes , it has tht bug
but other wise the keyboard is awesome , i am loving it
and yeah the music player needs notification drawer controls , lemme see wt i can do

Its a fantastic keyboard, the AOSP one's always been a bit too small for my massive fingers...
And awesome if they can work like Apollo that'd be sweet its frustrating when the whole app stops when you pause music from the notif drawer like Walkman and decxamp does

It worked flowless after installing owner info.apk. nice application. But still if the photo frame woyuld be larger like entire notification background than one would be able to choose any photo.
