Good thing our Nitro has such high rez, so you can view all that pr0n in extra small size (so no one can tell what you're looking at) but it still be ultra sharp!
Gotta love technology huh?

I just got on this deal. It works.
I just registered me and a friend of mine who doesn't have LG phone
Thanks.
Although I'm a bit disappointed how the shared folder is handled, you can only access it directly, it doesn't show in the folder list of you account as in dropbox
Oh and upload speed is ridiculous...
This deal is good until March 23rd. Even if you already have an existing account, just log in and get upgraded!!!

In case any of you wanted to switch to summary or ebill to avoid the $1.99 extra charge...
Login and navigate to:

(you need to login and the next page will be the one to change your options)

Just so everyone knows, the detailed bill is not the same as the regular bill. The detailed bill lists every phone number you called or texted. You can still receive your regular bill for free.

Detailed billing doesn't list the numbers you texted, just the calls (incoming/outgoing).
"Regular" really depends on your point of reference.
What you are describing as the regular bill is also called the summary bill.
From the Sprint blurb, even if you choose summary (paper bill), the detailed billing is still supposed to be available online.

Doesn't really bother me because I get ebills anyway. Dumb move by Sprint though, I can guarantee they get sued for this. Charging customers for paper copies of their bills is a big no-no. Sprint must be operating in the red.

Hahaha this and every one esle who is having a hay day with a $1.99 is hilarious in my book. Thats the equivalent of buying a cup of coffee once a month. Besides Sprint is by far the best deal around money wise. Also is the last of the big 4 that has unlimited data. It will be ok boys and girls
I've set up ebill about 4 times in the last 6 years -- somehow it keeps defaulting back to paper, which is annoying all by itself. Thanks for the heads up so I can avoid the charge and the paper!
That unlimited ship has sailed. 4GB is equivalent to unlimited for many people. Plus it works.

Roaming data? Yes, that's different as Sprint has to pay that network's owner for the usage.

I promise you that in network usage wasn't the reason
Now, if they were torrenting illegal downloads or excessive roaming that would explain it.
Not really going to affect me. Been eBill for eons now (and on all bills i have mostly) so that's that.

Sorry for the shameless self promotion. But my Security app Root Defense was developed on the Epic 4G touch and unlike any other security app out there, it will allow you to continue to track your phone even if it gets wiped or a hard-reset by a thief.
It's almost impossible to lose your phone and it's completely free. You can subscribe if wanted for additional logging goodies.
It requires that you have a rooted phone (as most people have on XDA)

Yeah, Cerberus was a program created after ours that has many of the same features. Even including the 5 licenses for the price of one.
Root Defense comes with many many more features though and no user interface on the phone.
Basically its still free but with more features and a stealthier install.
Also ours shows the existing data of logs and location from before a phone went missing so you aren't in the dark when your device is off

if this thing actually works for $4 a month being able to monitor a phone discreetly with the options listed, its actually a kick ass deal
i cant get it to work myself though, it locks on hitting reboot on the install process

Not emails, but most definitely texts, phone calls, and location. I'm not bashing this, just curious as to the advantages. I was one of the lucky ones who got Cerberus for free when they were doing the giveaway, just was wondering if it was worth... "upgrading"?

Root defense also is free and survives wipes and all the features the $4 a month is only if you wish to keep the logging features. All actually security features are free and always will be.
One of the major differences if the our free edition vs Cerberus is that our free version also keeps track of the last known coordinates.
What this means is that if your phone was stolen or lost and was either turned off or ran out of battery. Our product would show you where it last was and when it was there. Cerberus won't be able to show you anything as it needs to connect to the device each time to read data.
This is true of most fee or one-time fee programs because that's how they can afford it. In order to be helpful to people off-line, you need to store the data in a database which will quickly incur cost to developers (especially storing MMS messages.)
Anyway, different stroke for different folks. But keep in mind that after the trial ends, you still have (any always will have) all the free version features.
New version just released, check our main thread for details.

unless you are like me and have 12 GB of movies and music on your device.....
ummm...here's the question you need to ask yourself (speaking to OP)....
are you a big media, music person? if not, then absolutely get it.
if you are, don't waste your time. there is not external storage (no micro sd) support on the nexus 4... huge fail IMO. i would have been all over that. just really didn't feel like using up all my storage by simply transferring all of my ***t to my new device. what is this an android/iPhone? i was confused by that feature being absent. i guess they can't give you EVERYTHING... but that is a big thing to exclude IMO.
fail.

yeah sure... cloud storage is great if you have a 42 MBs connection everywhere you go. you can't depend on your data connection 100% of the time. and how many people have unlimited data? if you don't have unlimited data plans, forget it. you gonna throw your entire hard drive of movies on your cloud? no thanks.
i see your point..But I can just do one movie delete then another and then delete why keep a bunch of movies on your device (unless you are going on a long trip or something)

nice to have the option.
and it becomes more of a real issue if you are somebody who has a vast music collection.... i would rather not pick and choose on a weekly basis what music and movies i have to keep or delete on my device. that's what micro SD cards are for.... they remove the requirement to even have to think about it. it's just there. all the time. at your fingertips. right when you want it.

I love my SGS3, but the Nexus 4 is tempting. The lack of SD card storage may be the deal breaker.
OK my opinion is this. I first got the g2x and went through about 5 of them because of screen issues and random reboots. Samsung Galaxy Galaxy S3, 0 returns. Solid phone works perfect, I can't complain. I remember my brother told me that LG makes awesome televisions and my response to him was then they should stick to that. Again this is my opinion it's all up to you. But after my experience with LG, I would not purchase another phone from them again. Good luck.

At first they said excessive roaming, but that was bs because I never leave home. So they investigated further and said it was due to "tethering without a tethering plan." No warning, nothing. I woke up and was shut off this morning. I love downloading full albums and movies. I suppose I could have challenged them for having "unlimited data" but screw it. I'll get a Nexus 4 off contract w/Tmo unlimited 70 bucks a month.

Technically they can't tell you were tethering unless you were using the sprint hotspot. They can *claim* you were cuz of desktop protocols, but just tell em your browser on your phone is set to desktop user agent which uses the same protocols as your desktop browser. Most likely you were roaming due to the upgrades going on and whatever carrier you roamed on claimed you were tethering. At least you didn't have to pay the etf.

Android to android is even more incognito than android to windows/linux/mac, but the more advanced phone browsers and apps become the harder it is to tell the difference between mobile and desktop data packets. I would say in the next 5 years all internet capable devices will be using almost identical protocols to access the web which means all data would look the same to anyone sniffing packets. I'm grandfathered in on an unlimited tethering plan on my work line and I use upwards of 100GBs a month on it for work and I tether my personal line (same account) to my tablet and laptop and have been for 3 years and sprint never says anything. Between the 5 lines on our account we average 250GB a month.
I like to break stuff!
Just a quick ?, OP have you looked at your usage on sprint.com to see your roaming usage?? Just wondering if Sprint is about to crack down on tethering or if it was roaming which we all know they crack down on. Thanks for any info....and I wouldnt sell for less than $300 BTW but depends how quick you need the cash, think about the fact no one can get an android able to run jb on sprint for under $450 from retail.
