I hope there is a solution to this problem because it is annoying! This is using the stock email client.
So, while reading a email message the text size is set to tiny so i can read the entire email message. When i hit reply, the text size would resize itself to large without any way to zoom out. I didn't have this problem with my Tab 10.1 and evo3d, so what can it be and how can i keep the text size the same?
Also my screen would turn on every time i receive a text. Is there anyway to keep this from happening so i can keep battery drain to a minimum?

Hi there
For a while nowI've been experiencing problems with text messages not arriving, but they do end up in my sent items.
There is no real pattern to which messages do and do not arrive at the cellphone I'm sending them too, although I do notice that it ussualy are longer messages (i.e. a couple of lines of text instead of just 1 or 2).
I've tried 5 or 6 different roms in the last couple of weeks but I have the same problem with each of them so it is not the rom.
I've read somewhere that too much reflasig of your device can cause strange problems could this be what I'm experiencing? any help would be very much appreciated!
ive noticed this too! usually its quite a large text, along 3 sms amounts in one go. the recipent doesnt recieve the text but it is in my sent items. i didnt know whether it was the rom i was using , my operator or even a hardware issue but i know its damn annoying when sending important messages.
im on O2, which provider are you with?
I'm also on O2 and have occaisionally had this problem on my diamond, atom life and wizard. The way to avoid it seems to be....
1. Use Advance Config to turn on both Message Sent and Delivery notifications
2. When sending a message DO NOT close the messaging app until the notifications have been received. (if the message is more than one SMS long you will get multiple notifications)
For some reason, if you close the app too quickly, the message fails.
I'm on Vodafone NL
Thanx for the replies, I'll try your suggestions! hope it works, it's really irritating not knowing if my GF received my sms
Hey there Touch Pro 2 users..
i want someone to help me..when i reply on a msg
the space used to write the msg is very small
Could someone please tell me in details how to increase the height so that i could see a lot of the text im writing instead of seeing the old msgs between me and the contact??..
thanks a lot
does this happen every time?? Sometimes it happens to me when i view/reply using the threaded "conversation" screen (where you are blue and sender is green). I usually just hit the keyboard button (between Send and Menu) twice and the message box resizes.
Or from the Messages tab, you can tap the contents of the message to get a different threaded "messages" screen, or you can tap the icon to the right of the contacts name and send a new message. I've never had a problem with the text box using these 2 methods.
No man .. the box is never resizable !
i tried all what u said but noway
there is a tweak for the device where you increase the height of the textbox that's what i was asking about !!
maybe post a screenshot of your message window?
I have a Tilt 2 and am running the stock ROM with TouchFlo 3D. The unread text message indicator is stuck indicating at least one unread message at all times, even if there is not. If "n" is the number of actual unread text messages, then the phone always displays "n+2" as the number of unread messages.
I deleted all my text messages, hoping this would fix it, but even with no messages in my inbox, the phone continued to indicate 1 unread message.
Not a critical issue, but a little annoying. Is there any way to fix this?

I have the same issue, although I'm up to 4 unread messages. I've had to use that fix way too many times to fix this issues. I'm using T-mo stock 6.5 and I thought that the update was supposed to FIX this issue! I've noticed this problem occur when my messaging box has a lot of messages in it. I was trying to delete old messages once (which took over 30 minutes to complete - way too long) and thats when two of the unread messages appeared.
The thread title is the error I'm getting. This, from what I can tell, is not the wifi issue.
I'm stock, rooted and I use GoSMS.
I have noticed recently that when I try to send a picture message that is the large clear resolution that is shows up pending for a long time and eventually wont send, probably due to it's large size. To resolve this, I have started doing the smallest resolution, and thus smallest size when I know I'm going to be sending it to someone.
This works to make sure it get sent, if it decides it can. I get the "Can't send message right now. Too many many unsent multimedia messages" To try and fix it I close GoSMS and all other apps, but usually it takes a reboot to get it to go through. There shouldn't be any messages trying to send, as they will usually give an error saying the message couldn't be sent. I don't like to delete messages so I have one thread with 8000+ messages, mix of sms and mms, so going through and deleting all of the sent messages isn't really an option.
I cannot replicate the problem right now to test and see if using the stock messaging app would fix the problem.
Is there some folder or something that stores the pending outgoing messages that I could look at and see the "unsent multimedia messages" are that cause this error?
Is there some other underlying issue, some kind of buffer, relationship between received mms and sending, or anything else like this?
Any help would be appreciated.
I instaled RC8.1 few days ago and I for me everything works perfect but i notice that when typing long SMS messages instead of merging them in 2/3/.../6 sms messages it makes it a MMS after 160 characters. I looked in settings for a solution but i couldn't find it, is there any way to change that or I will have to separate messages manualy?
Also some times it just keep "sending" message.
with this release my phone sometimes don't receive all the messages......someone else have this problem?
I think I received all messages, but some of them wouldn't send it just say sending and leave it that way...
As far as I remember, since first release of CM10.1 long messages are converted to MMS by default, and there's no option to change it to multiple SMS
See in mms settings. Or just install other sms app (slide messaging shoud do the trick) and change there. This will fix the problem.
Sent via blue dots...
Thanks, I will check that app later
Thx, i'll try that
Btw any news about not sending some messages?
