Hello users, this is more or less what i call a FAST ROM, been working in it for like 2 weeks now and i thinkits ready for a release. - How to check this MD5, CRC32 Or SHA-1 numbers? -
*Get this program here , and install it on your PC, after you done that, you are ready to go, you won't have any icon in the desktop or something like that, to use it, go to the ROM and right click it, then click properties and on top click file hashes and it will load the numbers in a little box, then after done, put any of this 2 numbers i provided in the bar that will be almost at the bottom, then hit compare, if you have a green check you good to go, if not you will have to re-download the ROM and check it again. It’s really needed because if you get a bad download then you will suffer issues with the ROM, also in some cases it won’t even flash so you see how important is to check this numbers. Hope you don’t find it difficult to do and do it.
Place the ROM in your SD card - Not in any folder please
[*]Boot into recovery
Factories reset, plus wipe cache, then Flash the ROM
[*]After the ROM has flashed successfully go to Advanced
There you will wipe dalvik cache and fix permissions, then reboot your phone
[*]After the phone boots leave it without touching it for 10 minutes
After done, Reboot the phone and set it up (Note that is very important to do this)
[*]And last Step- I hope you did what i said or ill :

Just flashed this rom, and so far it feels really quick, and snappy, good job fellas, im going to post if i have any issues, but so far everything seems to be in working order, cant wait to see what your team can do!

Rom looks cool, good features, but I suggest cleaning up the post #1, its large, awkward, and hard to follow

Calendar doesn't sync and the default keyboard thinks everything is misspelled except contact names.. added the English dictionary in settings and no luck. Otherwise it is great

Thanks, this was just to see what you guys report and stuff, so we can fix and add.
Also its the first time that Melvin deals with source so thats why you might find few bugs and not a lot things you can play with, but as soon as he starts getting really familiar with, the ROM will have a lot of features as old versions of beastmod

I think it has something to do with the gapps package.. I know a few times on eaglesblood if I flashed an old gapps the keyboard would do that until I flashed a different gapps

I will definitely give this a try after the stock keyboard issue is corrected. I used Melvin's Sensation ROM back when I owned that phone. It was pretty good.

I would love to use it. Also, would be amazing to see an option to change soft key color to blue. Maybe in future release..

Xloud works by itself, it makes the sound clearer and higher. And we will see about the key colors.

So I finally got sick of blue.suck.holo and wanted some of my old themes from gingerbread on the galnex. I don't theme market apps there are many fine themers and options out there for those. I like to keep my themes with just main UI elements. First up is Honeycomb'ish, it started as a port that was originally done by xda user bendbowden for the fascinate many moons ago.

Loving this honeycomb theme. Is there anyway you can make a port of the honeycomb theme for the Liquid rom? They're pretty much the same, but when I tried to install the theme over the Liquid rom, boot loops.

Love the background. It's nice and subtle. Mind me asking what version of apktool you used to get framework to compile and push properly? Even if it compiles without error it always sends me into a bootloop, even with no changes.

TBH I've been using Apk_Multi-Tool_Alpha_02 with the github experimental builds addon. Not sure which version of apktool is in the "other" folder though. It has handled everything I throw at (except contacts & phone) without having to play one jar to decompile and another to recompile game.

Is it normal that there is quiet some space between signal bar and vibration icon?
And is there a possibility to keep the signal bar icon permanent on honeycombs color even not connected to Google services?

Unfortunately the signal bars changing color is the only way that ics was written to indicate connection to Google services. And regarding the gap. I never ever turned off data to catch the error in the xml. It has been fixed in all downloads (see attached cap), so delete version on card and re download appropriate file to match rom version and reflash.

Known issues-------
1) Led--installing light flow even 1 time will cause our new LED features to break. And lightFlow wont work either.
Please do not install light flow on this rom.
2) Random Bug- when on a Tmobile theme engine theme installing a pull down may cause crashing of systemui.
This is not consistant so hard to track still working on it.
If this happens power button will cause phone to reboot.
and no statusbar or softkeys show.
FIX- use drawer goto apps and settings go into tools and install stock theme. upon reboot all back to normal.
3)My Verizon Login- for my verizon , nfl mobile etc. states incompatible with this device.
I checked and our id is exact as 4.0.4 ota from verizon so not sure why this is.
FIX- goto mods and install verizon login fix.--all good after.
4) Navbar widgets--While adding some widgets it will force close first time re-add widget again and will install the widget.

This rom was built upon 4.0.4 r2.1 last synced with google approx 12pm 6/12/2012.
We are far from done.......But with 2 months of hard work we believe we have something special to offer.
This is not built with Linaro. as usual jsut as we are ready to release something new comes along. We will look at the results and determine if this is a benefit.. If it is it will be done.

It was definitely worth the wait. I was lucky to get in as a beta tester but by the time I got it most bugs were worked out.

UPDATE------sorry in the op we mentioned the pull down problem. i could only make it happen 1 time so hard to track. we believe we have tracked it down and fixed it. goto romupdate in the rom and update to version 3.1.
This will also include the 3.0 addon (includes the old notifications Sound) as well as our wallpapaerrs and the camera effects stuff.
sorry for anyone that did come across this bug we hope it is fixed now.

OK, after a slight wrong turn in Albuquerque,
I downloaded the theme engine apk and installed it, yet nothing stuck...
I tried mixer and HoloPurple on my fiances and neither stick...
I know it's something silly I'm not doing...any ideas?
And sorry again about the totally wrong thread...when my fiance saw Eagle's post she was howling...

THe tmobile theme engine is installed in the rom... go into System settings > ICSourcery Tools > slide 4 3 pages to the right... select theme engine and it will show any themes you already have loaded... if you dont have any then go to the Theme engine Themes option and download any of them... I have not seen any issue with it thus far...

Some of the mods in this ROM were made by Dev's, other than myself, for exclusive use in this ROM. I would share those but they are not mine to give away!

I dont see why it wouldnt. It gave me the error stating that I am not subscribed so i assume if you are subscribed it shoudl work fine.

Flashed rom and everything went fine.
Titanium backup doesn't seem to want to play nice, it freezes after installing every app.

Scott, if I root, can I use you detailed list of bloat removed to archive the same(basically) effect?

Pretty much, yeah, you could even go more. Im going to take otu SPen and all that mess for my own personal ROM. You could strip it all the way down to Playstore and calculator if you wanted to take the time to learn about the APK's. Its not too hard.

Using pro. Restored maybe 30 apps with data. It would restore one, two at the most and stop. It didn't force close, it would keep running, just nothing happening. I tried reinstalling tb, didn't help.

I think I just figured it out... I had an issue with SuperSU. I dont think Busybox is installing correctly during ROM install.
Try to downlod Busybox Installer by Stericson.... Then check root for updates in the SU App, then try TIB again.
I realized I am using an oudated version and or it might not be installng correctly
Whooops!
Let me know if busbox fixes it. If so I will update the ROM.
Other than that what did you think about the apps that I left in? Any opinon as to going lighter or heavier for a play build like this?

Busybox wouldn't install. Root checker came back that it couldn't verify root.

Its there or you woudlnt have got as far as you did but I do agree something is screwed up. Not sure what though... At work but trying to test and see if I skipped a permissions line in the ULE version of the Stock Root version.

Now, when I go into supersu it say binary needs to be updated and it fails.

Description
Not all of us have taken the transition to Hangouts as our SMS app easily. This APK is a modified version of Cyanogenmod's MMS application (which is modified from Google's Holo MMS). This is meant to bring familiar look and lightweight feel that we've all come to know and love from Jellybean. To better match the grey Kitkat theme, I've also included a grey version as well as the popular Cyan and Black theme. Playing off of styling cues from Hangouts, this is the perfect blend of Hangouts and Holo to make it really feel like it belongs in KitKat.

Unfortunately, I'm discontinuing development for this Theme. I've upgraded to a Nexus 5 and really dig - Evolve SMS - Created by a Fellow XDA member. I have not yet, rooted and flashed CM to my Nexus 5, nor do I plan to until the summer (school gets in the way). Because of this, I don't have a constantly fresh and updated version of the Stock Android MMS app and cannot continue development (and there's also a possibility that the app won't work on the N5). I will continue creating themes for MMS apps in the future, perhaps create an Evolve SMS theme of my own. I will also continue to monitor this thread and make sure the links stay alive, as well as help those to the best of my ability that require it.

Judging by how previous versions of this apk were handled just fine by almost any Samsung device i'd say it'd work just fine. Be sure to report back so we can share your findings. I sure others have asked themselves the same question!

Scroll all the way to the bottom and click "Free Download", this will take you to the final page where you wait about 10 seconds and then you can download the file.

Dirty Flashed on 1/18 vanir nightly toro and got messenger force close. Was in ART though not sure if that made a difference or not. About to crash for the day and I'll try again tonight on a clean install into davlik and see if that changes anything.

Any luck? I wonder if it has something to do with the directory that it installs in. I'm not sure if it exists in other ROMs, the MMS apk that I edited was out of Cyanogenmod and so I have this flash right back into it's rightful directory. Although, it'd make more sense that if the directory doesn't exist that it'd just create it.. So you may be right about ART.

Weird. I just switched to ART today using CM11. The stock MMS app works just fine. I'll try flashing this in a little bit, if it FCs then I'll rip the APK from my current nightly and theme that one, considering it works for ART and see if it works that way. Supposed to get a pretty good snow storm here in the North East so assuming classes are cancelled I'll have some free time to fool around with it on Wednesday.
