Amoled Blue LWP

Hello XDA I am illr!
I'm new so TLC would be good
This is a simple Phase Beam LWP from Amoled Blue Theme for AOKP and I made it to where it matched the blue Check it out!
For those who don't know how to install:
Using Root Explorer
Copy apk to system/app
Yes to overwrite
Reboot
OR

I tried installing the apk and it failed. I can I psh it to a directory in file explorer?

Copy it to /system/app.

Like jnr21 said using root explorer put it in system/app and reboot.

Very nice LWP, I'm running it on CM9.
I am getting quite a bit of lag from it though.

I'm using apex launcher and I have wallpaper scrolling off it helps with the lag.

Yep, turn off live wallpaper scrolling (Nova lets you do this too).
Also, I get absolutely 0 lag using Glados kernel with a 512Mhz GPU overclock, its a little bit noticeable without that.

im finding this very laggy as well, more so laggy than phase beam, using nova launcher..

A little laggy here too. I also had some system ui crashes since install.

Try changing permission for the apk and see if that helps.

Works good on my epic... love trolling things never know what your gunna find =]

sorry if this is a n00b question but...
i dled it, unziped to see the folders. im wondering if i am to push the both included folders into those two locations, or just the .apk and .so filee in the /system folder? if the latter is the case (which i think it is) , what do i do with the META-INF folder?

You don't need the meta-inf folder ignore it.

When you add the touch wiz apk to the system/app add the libdrawglfunction.so to the system/lib folder

Me either... doesnt mount the /system anyways... even when you do mount it, it doesnt work or even detect as an app. I think the permissions are set wrong for the app.

im trying to install it wont let me any advice?

Pushed it to system, set permissions, rebooted. Fc's every time I try to change to it.

There was no lib file with the download. There was only an APK.

There is a fully functioning one in the gnex forums but it is scaled to the gnex resolution.... so someone would have to decompile that one edit its resolution to fit the epic and then recompile and it should work.

This one should work. If it doesn't, try going to system>app> and click the apk file and installing it then reboot.

[App] AOSP Gallery

I don't know if you TW users are aware of the Gallery App used in AOSP roms, its much better then one we get with a TW Rom, you have to use it to see the improvements, just to mention the Sideshow feature which is beautiful, so here I pulled the APK from an AOSP rom and made it into a flash-able zip.
Flash it with a CWM recovery it will not overwrite the existing Gallery App, so wou will have 2 Gallery Apps, use it and enjoy it.

Feedback on this?

I used it on NS4G AOSP roms unless it has changed. I'm gonna flash now... cant remember the differences.

I've been using this gallery for some time now and i love it. Totally awesome animation with out and the slide show feature kicks a$$. Thanks for putting this in a flashable zip.

Use this gallery then just delete the original gallery files. I've done it before but I prefer the stock gallery without the picasa sync, which I fixed myself-uploading now-

I just swapped the bubble styles and backgrounds with from the siii mms, just some nicer looking bubbles & backgrounds. Compatible with Jedi jelly & most Jb touchwiz ROMs. Pulled from embryo 6.1. Will make a flash able zip if someone tells me how :/ for now mount r/w on /system then put it in the /system/apps, overwrite, reboot.

tried to resize these because the bubbles are a bit too big from the siii, but the bubbles ended up tearing and stretching after resizing so just stick to this till i figure it out

What file browser are you using? Either way, you can go into the settings of the browser, go to root settings if there is one, and you might find on option that mounts system partition for write

I have tested this with mms and it has worked, nothing in the app itself was modified except for the .pngs for the bubbles, so to say that broke mms is a little far fetched. Maybe you should flash another radio? Check mms settings?
