Hi,
I tried updating through CWM both of the keyboard fixes, and neither took, claiming bad e-signature. How do I apply?
Thanks.
I don't know if either of these will work, but have you toggled the check signature option in cwm? Another option would be to redownload the version for your rom

Did you check your settings to double check? Also re-flashing the rom with a clean install?
Hey so I recently installed the euroskank cm10 rom from Rom manager. It works, but the keyboard on it stops working, so u can't do anything. Please help! Thanks
Did you fix permissions or try installing another keyboard?
I can't install another keyboard because you have to set up your Google account to use the market, and I can't use the keyboard.

I unrooted my phone, rerooted it, then tried the same rom again, still had the same problem. Then I imported an apk into my phone to install another keyboard, then that one didn't work. So I guess I shouldn't use that rom.

Finally JB!
I'm on stock LH9 with root and CWM installed. Would it be safe to apply the update from Samsung-updates through Odin?
Safe meaning not losing info, texts, etc.?
Could care less about losing root.

I know you said you didn't care, but you can keep root by flashing this in Odin. I didn't lose any data.

I posted this in another thread, but thought you might find this helpful:
First of all, I appreciate all the Devs hard work bringing these Roms to us! :good:
I was running rooted UCALH9. Updated to this JB via Odin and all SEEMED good. Problems I had:
1) Play Store FC's - FIX - I went into Application Manager and removed updates for the Play Store app, which reverted it back to the default Play Store app. This fixed my problem. MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT UNINSTALL!
2) Rom Manager - I would get root user authentication error when trying to Fix Permissions. Everything else in Rom Manager worked. No fix at this time.
3) Gallery - None of my pictures were showing up. This is even after clearing caches. I am convinced it's because I can't Fix Permissions, but what do I know... No fix at this time.
Any help would be appreciated!
I've noticed after a while on any ROM that when I go into recovery and fix permissions it says failed. Before I would lose my ROM but not this time. I'm afraid to try again and I'm using twrp. Can someone help me please?

generally i only FIX Permissions when flashing a new ROM clean flash or changing something to system or a MOD of some sort ive never really had that problem that's strange ?? and you have the latest TWRP? have you tried going into TWRP > settings > restore defaults ???
Because I lost vibration and usually that fixes it. But no I've never tried restore defaults. Is that what you are supposed to do? Oh and it is the latest twrp.

If read it a few times here and there around xda if it does not work when u restore the defaults try using ROM manager and fix permissions from within the app

Then to me it sounds like you flashed so many ROMs and a few dirty flashes might corrupt the way twrp fixed the permission I would recommend a clean flash and then if that all fails then just restore your back up sucks your are having this problems and all phones are not the same which sucks lol

Did this happen after installing any particular app ?
Are you on custom ROM or on stock ?
Did you reboot and verify if this is still an issue ?
Did you try a factory reset already ?
