Rosie animation modding - HTC One X

Hello everyone. We all know that the sense 4.1 appdrawer isn't as smooth as it should be and i was just thinking if there was any way we can change the lousy app drawer opening animation to something we want.Does it require modding of the framework or just modding rosie.apk would work?

Hello mate.
I am not sure for what are you saking for is it possible. BUT i saw one review on youtube htc one x with Jelly Bean and it has new app drawer and poster on youtube explicitly said that there is no more lag. So just a little more till we receive Jelly and that problem is solved.

[REQ] Crt off lockscreen theme

Hi I'd ask if someone can port HTC's crt off lockscreen from froyo to gingerbread. I saw it on my friends HTC desire hd2 and its way better than the existing ones on the forum (all of them have those black and white pixels while locking the screen. At least the ones I tried ). Thanks in advance.

After the first install, the crt effect is perfect but after a reboot the bug of white pixels is back. I find it on VR 2.0, MIUI or after the install of a framework apk on the KG1 stock rom.
Id like to see this aswell!
Well I'm using lite'ning rom 2.1 with mojito theme and everything works perfect except that and on HTC it works as sweet ad candy hehe

Is it possible for me to somehow take framework-res.apk from my friends htc (he's running 2.3.4 version of android like me) and get crt off effect as clean as his?

Firstly HTC never made a CRT off or used it in any official rom, its a Samsung/Google thing so he is already using a port. Secondly if you take CRT from any phone it will still be messed up on the SGS2. Lets hope its proper fixed in CM7

Mine is always 100% fine up until I open my advanced power menu. Then I get the bug, which is cleared by a reset.

rosie.apk on another handset

can rosie be transferred to say a galaxy s3 for example??
There's only one way to find out

unfortunately my galaxy s3 hasn't arrived yet until tommorow lol so I can't find out
I don't think, you can do something by just transferring the apk!

Uh, I do not think htc loves this kinds of threads. I remember how they took down the app(s) on the market that had the sense clock look.
Anyway you are on the wrong forum?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1686118
the answer you are looking for is NO!
it can be done but the sense launcher is not used by just rosie.apk
it is integrated with the sense framework which you would also need to port over to your device of choosing (note port and not copy)
My guess is no. I assume rosie would require Sense framework, so apk file alone wont do, just like we cannot have Sense Camera on CM9 just yet. Maybe try Sense theme on custom launcher.
Porting Rosie would mean porting Sense. Simple as that

Is it possible to get the stock ics vanilla launcher without rooting?

The question is clear I guess.
I just bought my htc one and I was thinking some time of non root customization on my phone
Though I will root it sometime later.
Also, are there any chances of jellybean coming to this device?
How does the homescreen customization looks like in ICS? Does a dialog box appear, or something like honeycomb carousel?

Normally HTC use sense Home screen only so i hope JB also will have sense homescreen...
if u want to try means try some launcher which help u get different type of home screen

I would personally recommend Apex Launcher, it's faster, and has more customizations.
Check this out, just found it http://phandroid.com/2012/12/15/20-...-stock-android-experience-without-root-guide/
There is many just look for em in the playstore

[Q] People widget in Jelly Bean

Hi,
I just received the update for Jelly bean (3.14.751.20), it looks goos and run smooth but one thing I noticed is that HTC's people widget 2x4 is gone, instead there are only 2 widget 4x4.
Anyone knows why and if I can get the old one back, it was really nice
Thanks
Doron
Care to confirm this on my thread for me mate?!

Yes, you can resize only vertically, also the widget has one with too much contact information (e.g. last sms, facebook status ) and the grid one.
Im wondering the same thing, is there a way to replace the people widget from another Jelly Bean Sense rom, I hate when HTC removes widgets I actually use for no reason.

Ok. go to this site: http://www.mrmad.net/mrmaddon-jellywiz-edition-fur-galaxy-nexus-2208
Download the file "Touchwiz jelly bean addon 1.3.3" highlighted in blue if you scroll down a bit. It is for the Galaxy nexus but tried and tested by myself and some htc one x users that it is fully functional.
it is a flashable zip which tends to overlay Sense but not totally, so it would be a combo between the two UI so it looks really cool

so you mean to say the weather/clock widget of touchwiz only? if so, just download accuweather.
but if you mean to say the weather/clock widget of Sense, just download fancy widgets from play store.:good:
