Group messaging in ROMs - AT&T, Rogers, Bell, Telus Samsung Galaxy S III

Was looking at some different ROMs and was wondering if there are any that have a messanger built in that supports group messaging? Yes, I realize I can do this through a number of messaging apps, but do any of them have the ability right out of the box? Does stock ICS or JB have this feature?
Cheers

Hi,
is there any mod that would show the number of SMS messages per contact in stock SMS app, like in old Sense versions?

I know, but i like Sense stock sms app .
I don’t think there is a mod. But you can try a different messaging app like Handcent SMS. You can make it look like the stock messaging app by modifying the theme and color settings.

Group mms

Hey guys. Is there a native messaging app (touchwiz or aosp) that allows group messaging like those with an iPhone. When I send out messages to a group of people, I would like the replies in one thread and not an individual thread for each person who replies to my text.
I heard go SMS or hand cent does it but I prefer the native apps over 3rd party.

Honestly. Those threaded texts/group chat feature might lead u to procure a third party solution bro
I use Josh Beach's Jelly Bomb Domination v 5.0 ics rom. I'm not sure if he is using stock messaging app or aosp, but it allows me to send group messages. Look in the attached screen shot.. Touch the little contact button on the top right and you can select as many contacts as you want

Anyone can send a text to multiple people, but those people can't necessarily see who it was sent to because their mms app doesn't have that functionality, or the original sender's mms app sends it as multiple separate mms messages.
on the same note, I'd like to see who else a MMS was sent to like iphone users

[Q] AOSP Emoji MMS, Kii?

I am currently trying to get emoji to work with kii keyboard(i think it has great potential).
The problem I am having is that the emoji icons do not show up in my mms app (a stock oasp one).
They do show up on the recieving phone which is a SGS2 running cm10.
I am running JellyBam, and have tried several mms.apks.
Did anyone get emoji to show up using kii keyboard?
Is there maybe another awesome gesture type keyboard i am not aware of that has emoji support?
There is a mms app in the themes and apps section that did enable emoji

Emoji support needed to be enabled from within messaging app settings.

[Q] 4.2 AOSP MMS Messaging for Note 2?

I was wondering if anyone was able to install the 4.2 AOSP MMS Messages on a Note 2. I'm currently running the SkyNote 6.2 ROM, but really like the new messaging app because it allows for group messaging. SkyNote currently has a flash to put AOSP Messaging as an add on, but it's not the newest version.
