The feathers are really starting to annoy me an have not been able to figure out how to stick other pics to the current only feathers choice. Has anyone figured out this small but annoying thing?

Yes, I know that, my question is how to add more pics to the available choice of 5.

Whoops i read it wrong sorry
I use QuickPic. Open picture, menu/options button, Set as, select what you want to change, crop edit. Done. You can now use any picture you want.

Chose from gallery...
Sent from my GT-N7100 using Tapatalk 2
I also use QuickPic but the method you suggests is able to change the walpaper only not the lockscreen pic. Thanks anyway.
Sent from my GT-N7100 using xda app
Does it work for the lockscreen. Have not been able to check since i deleted my Gallery in favour of the QuickPic which works only for changing the wallpaper.
Sent from my GT-N7100 using xda app
Just hold your finger on an empty spot on your home screen for a few seconds, choose set wallpaper–> lockscreen–> gallery.
Than You can set whatever picture you want as lock screen wallpaper
Sent from my GT-N7100 using Tapatalk 2
"crop edit" is from the gallery. Click on the gallery symbol. Only QuickPic does not work.

Wow I guess only the people who do it all perfectly and dont need help deserve your help. Remember that when you screw up. and be certain you will sooner or later. Maybe not with your phone but considering your attitude its more likely you will screw up with your life or something simmilar.

One option is to provide info to the developer to help making it work on QuickPic (as far as I know it should work)
hey found a way!!! settings/display/Home and lock screens
That let me set both homescreen and the lockscreen at the same time to other than the choice of 5. It iwa then easy to afterward change only the home screen. But I cleared all of it and now using plain black background for all and froze all the related stuff.
Strange... Tried that method (tried it before). (its "settings/display/Wallpaper/Home and lock screens" right?)
"Home and lock screens" only lets me select Gallery (still needing Gallery here), Live Wallpapers (only live ones..), Wallpapers (only the five)

Does this version work with dialer or does it have to be modified like aosp had to be to work with samsung dialer?
It is a great launcher having the speed scroll through pages with swipe on the bottom too bad the widgets dont have any options.

It may be in the manifest of either the launcher or the phone app. I will have a look after.

Just to be clear, this only works with Froyo. There are some problems with speed and reliability issues as this was pulled from the Streaks upcoming 2.2 update.

Hey everyone.. I've done a little digging and I can't seem to find a solution. I am currently running Bonsai 4.0.1 and love it.. but I noticed that their modified version of the gallery doesn't allow me to set my own photos as scrollable wallpapers. Static single panel only. I tried pulling the Gallery apks from Syndicate and Midnight.. but they both have the Gallery Sensor bug. I can live with just rebooting my phone whenever I change wallpapers, just curious as to the existence of a Modded Gallery 3D apk that doesn't drain my battery and can set scrollable wallpapers. Thanks in advance!
Cheers,

I have Bonsai 4.0.1 and the modded Gallery and mine scrolls just fine. Never tried a photo but am using a jpg of a Thor movie poster that scrolls. I made sure I cropped it in landscape size. Have you tried quickpic? Maybe it is the order of how I did it. I long press on a blank homescreen or blank area, pick wallpaper, then the Gallery comes up to pick the picture. Crop what you want and set it.

Hmm.. I just flashed in the original gallery apk from bonsai 4.0.1 and cropped my photo in landscape and now it scrolls, but with black bars above and below the image. When I use the Gallery from SRF or Midnight I can crop in either portrait or landscape and wont get the bars..

That is strange. I don't get any bars. I had to actually add some black edges to my Thor background so it is visible above the launcher icons.
I can't imagine that they would have packaged to different galleries between the time you flashed it and when I did.. would they?

I doubt it, although I did had an issue where Gallery icon was labeled "false". I had to remove it with sdx app removal tool, download Gallery 3D from the market, then replace that one with root explorer with the apk pulled out of 4.0.1 install. Don't know if that changed the way mine handles pix and wallpaper or not.
I've never had any problems using the included 3D Gallery in Bonsai to set scroll-able wallpapers. I just tried it again to make sure and it still works, although I normally use Quickpic as my go-to Gallery app.

Same with Midnight which uses Bonsai as its base. I use QuickPic and erase Gallery with Root Explorer. Works perfect

Man I would love a deblurred version cuz the lack of internal memory on this phone is driving me crazy!!
Any update??
sorry, just had a baby boy so a little distracted from posting. here it is just replace original build.prop with this one, then do a factory reset and you will have a deblur version.
Hmm think i'll try this out for a while til my upgrade. Do i unzip it...replace it where? in the system folder? and then just factory reset??
Unzip the downloaded file (will contain build.prop)
Get a file explorer (like es file explorer) and go to setting and select the root explorer
Explore into "system" folder, and create a backup of the existing build.prop file (to your memory card)
Replace it with the unzipped build.pop download.
Factory restore and you're done! If you don't like, just copy the backup build.prop file and overwrite, factory reset and you're back Blurred!
one question though...how does one transfer all blurr contacts to gmail? Tried this file on my wife's phone and could only restore gmail contacts...
Yea got it to work...deblur is much appreciated....phone is way more manageable and I can actually download apps again!
are there any differences in this file other than the addition of the line
Code:
ro.mot.deblur=true
??
Edit:
Found the answer, good work. Only issue I had was the one time init was black text on black background.

This is a pain in the ass. Go to each and every contact, unlink them then delete the blur contact so you're only left with the gmail contact. Then go to your accounts and sync gmail contacts so they are all synced to google. Turn off sync to blur if possible (sorry its been a while doing this cuz I got an atrix that allows me to choose where I want contacts saved). This should solve that.

The method posted works just fine, if you're stuck at the boot animation, reflash from the sbf and try again, it's certainly not bricked.
It didnt brick it.

Nope.. If I remember correctly, it disables having to log into a blur account, and disables the home launcher (causing the screen to be black). Probably a few other small things..
To avoid the black screen, you can copy an apk of another launcher (launcher pro, adw, go launcher, etc) to /system/app/
Been awhile since I did this, so I may be missing something
Is it possible for me to customize my launcher however I want and place the apk into a rom or theme and once flashed and installed my launcher would already be exactly as I always had it?
I'm not trying to back it up and restore it. What I'm really trying to do is get go launcher the way I customize and set all my widgets, apps, and short cuts into a .zip and once its flashed and the app installs it autimatically comes the way I already had it with no need to restore any kind of data.

I doubt it... that requires backing up the desktop configuration. Also... go launcher is CIQ renamed YOU'VE BEEN WARNED.
No. That info is stored in the data partition, not with the app.

or you could make a backup of it in titanium and restore it every time.

I understand what you're saying, as I do a similar thing with my roms. What I do is simply copy in the data with the launcher apk. However, widgets never restore properly. One could modify a launcher to change the defaults, but I couldn't tell you where to begin.

Ya I kind of figured it would be possible since different launchers have a different "stock" setting that they set the home screen so I wanted to see if it was possible to edit that "stock" into whatever I want. But it may be a little bit too much to do. I may think about it later, but not for now. Thanks though.

What's CIQ? Is that like an ATRAC? I think I heard about that in a museum.
Such old news. Only a few months ago but yet it seems to have faded completely.
We should go back to using those KnowCIQ banners. To prevent that kind of thing in the future. Though I don't really care.
So.... The Chinese have all my top secret data?
So, suprising no one has tried to remove it, rewrite one without it, or just blatantly expose the code. Probably could make some headlines considering how widely used GoLauncher is. I hear and see people talk about it but I've only seen references. (the again, never really researched it other than Google.... <- - - THE WORLDS LARGEST CIQ?)

In our current development stage, what will be my benefit in rooting? All opinions welcome, and thanks

THIS.
Plus JellyBomb fixed one of my biggest problems with the Note II, and that was that none of the Quick Settings in the Notifications dropdown were useful for me. With Jellybomb, I can put more useful settings in the Notifications dropdown, and remove the ones I don't find useful.
I also have a custom boot animation. I didn't like the stock Sprint one.
There's also Titanium, which allows me to backup all my applications to my SD card in case I need to reformat my phone, make sure I have a backup of an app that might get pulled from the Play Store, or just back up the app for whatever reason.
