Led blend? - T-Mobile, Samsung Galaxy SIII

I have a blue one and my wife has a white one and we are both running Paranoid Android v2.52. The default settings for the charging state is red whne its low, orange when charging, and green when fully charged. The red and green show up fine but the orange is very strange as it is blurred on both of ours. I have attatched a picture to show you what I mean. The orange is blended with the green and is half and half. Is this a hardware issure or a software issue? I have read from a few other threads of people who own the US version and they have the same problem. The international version however does not seem to have this issue.

Thats normal. The notification light actually consists of 3 LEDs. Red, Green, Blue. In order to display all colors of the light spectrum without having to have each and every LED, it turns on different intensities of the Red, Green, Blue LED. All electronics work this way, their lights are just microscopic. Its how the screen on our devices work, its how your TV works. Its just its so obvious on the LED because they use LED lights that are big so they can be brighter.
here is a little in depth explanation

Notification LED

Hi, is there a way to get the notification LED to blink when I have a missed call, voice mail, SMS..etc but while its charging too? I know it does this when its not charging, but it would be nice to glance at the phone and see if I missed something while its on the charger.
Thanks
As far as I know it does. It's much harder to notice because the red LED stays lit solid while charging and the green blinks "through" it, and I'm pretty sure when the phone is fully charged and the green LED is lit solid for full charge, it blinks as it usually would when not charging. Can anyone else confirm this?

Mine just stay red/orange when charging and green when charged...the led doesn't blink while it is plugged into the charger.
The other day i saw thread with someone talking about getting the phone send/answer and end keys to blink for things while charged...didn't see how they did it though. There may be a cab for it.

[Q] [Request][Theme] Amber Yellow.

If any one could create a nice Amber Yellow Theme with like an nice cumstom battery or maybe a gingerbread based battery in yellow that would be great.
Maybe not Amber Yellow more soo Goldish or Mustard??

[ Solved ] Power switch blue light too bright...

I've had the Acer Iconia A100 for 2 weeks now and remain really pleased with it.
One nit is the too bright blue light on the power switch. At night, while charging on my bedside table, the blue light is bright enough to be a night light. I'd taken to storing the tablet under the bed, or against a book to cover the light all-together.
A better solution is to simply coat the entire power switch with a black Sharpie marker. You'll still the light, but it won't shine.

Or wear welders googles
@digittante:
A better way of blackening the power button would be to unplug it when it turns blue.
While it's charging, the light is orange, and it's not as disturbing as the blue light. When the charging is complete, it turns to that bright blue, so unplug it.
But, even unplugged, the power button flashes bright blue for notifications like emails. I would like to be able to turn off those notifications.
if charging it at night, you can't simply unplug it after it turns blue because you are already asleep.
It's funny, because this bothered me as well. I just ended up setting my phone up against the button so it blocked the light from me. That worked fine for me.
I actually think the coded power switch LED is a really nice touch.
It + the haptic motor (though I wish I could turn down the intensity--seems a little buzzy) make the product seem a little more finished than other tabs. But yeah, I guess I just turn the light away from me when I charge at night.
i see three main solutions:
charge it in daytime,
put the tab in another room (at toilet for example),
wear sunglasses while sleeping.
My last wise ass tip.
Most people sleep with their eyes closed.
Have you tried that yet...it's the latest fad.

Charging light

Im new to the lg scene, been a HTC user since windows phones. Anyways. Does the chargeing light only come on when the screen is off. I would like to always have it on either red charging or green fully charged. Wheather or not screen is on or not.

The LED only comes on for battery status when the screen is off. If you want it to be constantly lit while charging, you can check out lite flow.
Light Flow works well but it doesn't allow screen on and led at the same time

red charge light behavior is inconsistent - normal?

hi,
i just recently got a note 4 and i'm loving it. but just noticing that the red charging light does not come on every time i charge. actually, i'm trying to find some rhyme or reason on when it decides to light up and when it doesn't.
i've gathered so far that the light is supposed to come on when the screen is off. that's the only "behavior" cue that i'm aware of. are there any others?
and to be clear, the phone is charging. there's no problem with that. the battery level increases and i get the lightning bolt symbol and the "charging" displayed at the bottom of the screen when i turn the screen on.
but the red light lights up sometimes. sometimes not.
just now, i plugged it in and it decided to light up. but then a blue pulse turned on briefly and now nothing is lit up.
not a critical thing and i'm pretty sure this is what the phone's supposed to do. i just want to understand what exactly it's doing.
thanks.
haha,
figured it out myself. so the red light goes out when you get ANOTHER indicator light. like the blue light i got that deactivated the red one.
so if you clear your notifications, the red light comes back on and stays on... until you get another notification.
got it.
hehe, thanks for helping me think that through.

I do that all the time. I get stuck and can't come up with a solution, so post here. Then I figure it out even though no one has actually helped me. Lol
