Yeah it does help a little....and to use it in the app you just have to install drivers ......but the phone may bootloop which one time happened to me ...but not always
i dont think its compatible !

It works - but very low fps and stutters.
I bought it for my transformer where it plays very good, but Desire can not handle it. I mean it is not playable, but runs.

Hello guys I was experimenting with my phone HTC Desire and tryed to setup Chainfire 3D for games so first what I did was installation of CF3D drivers unfortunately after reboting my phone never stand up it stack at white bootscreen and thats it...
full wipe didnt help ,new room didnt help ,new other room didnt help I give up my phon let me get in to recovery menu and Hboot menu only now my phone is a veggie...
if someone know solution for this problem please post it here to help me rescue my phone...
Chainfire 3D works on desire.. I have been playing Fruit Ninja HD with it without having any performance issues and it was lag-free.
So if you can get it to work on your device, it must be something with your rom and kernel.. Try with stable roms..
i know that i can play tegra games on a non tegra device with the tegra GPU and chanfire app, but my question can this be done in reverse? because there are several games that are for kindle fire with the same resolution as the a100 for example Need for speed hot persuit.
Should be able to.. download the APk or get it from the amazon appstore.

In my experience if it shows up in the Amazon market on the A100 it plays fine. Anomaly: Warzone Earth plays well along with all of my other Amazon games.
Hi guys, i was wondering if there is a way to run the tegra 2 version of the game on our htc one x??
I'd like to play this and other gameloft games too but they don't seem to be in any hurry to support the One X. Have you tried the Chainfire 3d app with it?

As a matter of fact I'm playing this game now on my MID-A10 ( Chinese make ) with MALI-400 GPU.
Yes the game works flawlessly with ChainFire3D , it needs to have Qulacomm plugin enabled.
The game fails to load either with PowerVR/NVIDIA plugin. ( So it fails to play on most Samsung Models - unrooted )
This game is similar to Assasin's Creed or Tomb Raider type style....nice one though.

Right now im using cm11 nightly from about a week after the forced update to 8.4.9 that de rooted who knows how many kindle fire hd 8.9s and 7s i like it well enough but just wondering what others are using on the kfhd 8.9s and 7s. I have a bunch of stuff installed but backed up so loosing the data isn't that big a deal. My main thing i do on the kindle is playing play-station games psp games etc basically its a highly portable al in one game system.
If you have any recommendation other than a different rom like for example maybe there is a game system manager app out there that would let me manage all my games and emulators. Or shoot maybe some developer might be interested in making such a app and would want to go back and forth here on the forums for what should go in to such a app. Im game to be a guinea pig err beta tester
