i installed cm7 nightly rom but dont like phone and music player and also i wanna sense
so i tried to edit this with android kitchen and change phone and music apk
after it done rom doesnt load
after a long trying finally i succeed to load rom but
i have 2 problems
phone and music apps not work and continuously error with phone ( force close )
and secend problem is i dont have any call signal after it
please some one help
i want 2.3.7 android with sense and 2.2.1 phone and music with persian support:silly:

you may never have what you want!
there are many alternatives available for phone and music,try them yourself and stick with the one you like.
Please do not post Q&A in the general section.

Hello,
I don't have permission for posting in dev section so I'm asking my question here (yes,I did go through the forum n google to find a solution)
From the time I've started using custom roms,my camera app is not working properly. It crashes after 3-4 shots n my phone reboots. My phone freezes on the preview screen for a few seconds n then restarts. At first I thought its a rom issue but I've faced this same problem on reflex s,rcmix 2,leedroid 2.5 and SGBS and this problem never existed in the original rom.
What could be causing this? I'm using s off desire with 1gb ext partition (created using clockwork recovery screen)..

Did you do full wipe before install ROM ?
If not, please do so.
If yes, I don't know the answer.
You can try install default ROM and start all over again though.

thanks for the reply,I always do a full wipe when installing a custom rom..but don't know why this issue...
I'm scared to try the stock rom as I don't know what my original country was as I bought my phone from the local market without any warranty...!

try the sense 2.1 camera - it should work. To be honest I never had this problem when trying those sense-based ROMs, so no other idea.
Try flashing a newer/different radio

I'm using sgbs rite now with sense 2.1 camera...before this I had rcmixs,reflex s,Lee droids...all had similar issue,some more than the other..
BTW off topic does anyone know how I can get only sense 3 weather on sense 2.1? And which is a good sense 3 rom with stock android lock screen working...as sense 3 lock screen n caller screen is kinda annoying!

Hye! I have some problem regarding my DHD. I've rooted my phone and s-off it..
When I use CyanogenMod Rom or MIUI (current ROM).. the bluetooth cant be turn on... Even i flash with other kernel.. still no bluetooth..
Wonder if my device broke but when i flash with other sense rom. eg: RCmixHD rom or LeeDroid, etc.. the bluetooth function is useable..
Hope u guys figure it out since i love my MIUI rom..

Please use threads already available instead of opening a new threads. I would start on the MIUI site as no development is don't on XDA for MIUI.

hello wfs users ect ect ......... Im on the nightly cyanogen rom i love muisc as we all do. The stock rom had great sound but the cyanogen rom lacks that and the dsp murders it .... can i get the stock sound back to this rom and how !!!!!! would like to add cyanogen roms on other phones had ok sound and i like the rom nice one !!!! also two more things im with t mobile dam usage came up when went to post this its a re write bad times ..... ive seen a jar file in settings for another phone that stops the usage from making me madddd is there one for this phone and not the free net hack if its still working just the usage even if was on a teather thankssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss enjoy your phones !!!!!
hi , first of all m thankful to xda through which i was able to root my ph and flash it with cm9 and cm10 , but can anyone help me out to how to go back to ginger bread , reasons for degrading are ,that this rom doesnt had playstore or any google main functional apps lik maps mail navigation etc. , i would be very greatful if anyone helps me out for the solutionhow to resolvethese issue , also my ph start lagging and hardly any other app then whatsapp was able to run smoothly

Your probably better off trying to flash a gingerbread sense rom, returning to stock is a pain in the arse pal. Check the dev section, also you need to flash GAPPS with cm9/10 to have the Google Apps they should also be in the dev thread you got the rom from, right below the rom download flash gapps and see how you like it, then try return to stock if you still don't

Wife's moved on from her Wildfire S (to a Nexus 6 ) and daughter needs an MP3 player.
So i was thinking about turning this one into just that.
Obviously i can just put an MP3 player on it but i was thinking of stripping it from anything that isn't needed and thus putting a very minimal rom on it.
But it's been ages since i put a custom rom on something (an old tablet some years ago) so i need some help.
First , what rom ? (there are so many)
Second , a step by step plan for roooting it and putting the rom on it
And third , a bit beside the question , also have a Desire HD laying around , can i combine the questions here or is it better to make a new thread in the Desire HD section ?

Hi, It's a while since I hade a Wildfire S, but this may help:

The ROM is fast and stable, and lets you remove anything you don't want/need. (There's very little bloat on there anyway, plus it has a kernel that supports overclocking).
I wouldn't go for any of the KitKat ROMS as they can be very laggy, even when the phone is overclocked.
