If your asking what you need to flash to get your n7100 working on telstras 4G network your out of luck
You need the n7105 to use any of the australian 4g networks

+1
This is a hardware modem issue, not a software one.
No amount of flashing will solve this issue.
That's why the 4G model is $200 more expensive

No I was asking bout aus firmware for 3g out live out west no 4g near me too soon . Even though I get adsl2 speed dl .as the fone has afr firnware onit
Sent from my GT-N7100 using xda premium

Well the phone has not even been released in australia so your going to be waiting a while

I'm using the UK firmware and it's fine on my TPG network....I'm not too sure why you would need a particular firmware to work on Telstra

So u don't have any problem with dl speed in wagga wagga I get 5mb/s fo back home to parkes and I get 11.47mb/s thatts y im asking .increase radio .

Changing CSC

I brought my note 2 while on a business trip to Hong Kong. However I would like to change the unit csc to singapore.
Using the keypad code *#.. is no longer working.
I tried using csc changer/selector from play store but have an error message.
I am currently downloading JB 4.1.2 Singapore firmware to flash my unit.
Is this there anyway for me to change the csc? Will the program work after flashing the firmware?
Thanks in advance.

This works

The app need root to work. Are you rooted?
Sent from my GT-N7100 using xda premium
Yup I am rooted. I guess it might be firmware cause error?
Sent from my GT-N7105 using xda premium
Really weird. You are the 2nd person that is unable to run it. I just checked it and I working on UBDLL3
Sent from my GT-N7100 using xda premium
Hmmm I am thinking about the error that it might become cause the rom has only one CSC code. Only that of the country/carrier.
Can you navigate to system/csc using a root explorer?
Are there multiple codes or only one?
If there is only one then it sounds reasonable for the app to be unable to load.

So I guess it's just north then. I'm in south Cali
So Sprint forced my phone, in Delaware, to upgrade the prl just for changes in Cali. -.-
Sent from my LG-LS970 using xda premium
Those were not the only changes and Sprint does not run regional PRLs. People travel these days and take their phones with them.

This does not effect your roaming in Delaware. And most of the time you wouldn't even notice the update. So your not forced.. And its nothing bad... Chill

I'm not mad or anything lol. But Sprint did force/push the prl to my phone. Just popped up and wouldn't let me do anything until it was done. That usually doesn't happen, so just thought it was weird.

That's the point. They always want the latest version the prl on your phone.

I'm only getting two bars in Plano. But it's plenty fast. Can't wait to see when I get full bars.

It looks like they might have rolled it out in Denver/Aurora CO too... Im really hoping this isnt just another test (already seen a few), its been working for more than a few hours, which makes me think it isnt.
I'm thinking a soft launch since it is spotty and unannounced. Maybe official by end of month. Tmobile store guy did say he was told by July is when Lte is deployed here.

Lte has been consistent buy signal is poor.

This. I used to have complete bars and excellent data, and while the lte is great I only have one bar, two at most.
Signal strong at work in Richardson.

Roaming when not in the U.S.

A few weeks ago I went overseas on vacation and had no service at all, not even roaming. Only way I had service was when I was at a WiFi hotspot. This is the first time this has happened. Is it the ROM I'm on? Do I have to call Sprint? Some feedback would b help guys, thanks.

That's because you have a CDMA phone and most of the world uses GSM (sim card). Unless you get an international version you are pretty much stuck with no signal overseas.

Had the Samsung Epic when I was overseas and had roaming though. Also have a sim card as well with the phone I'm on now.
