Just moved from the epic 4g touch and lovef thr ics offered over there. Ive read and read but I gotta know. Which ics ROM has the least bugs, most functionality and the less errors, even on a beta,or early stage. I need users oponions from actually using the software. Thank you guys very much!!

Welcome! I'm using nexusmod ICS and loving it so far. It's been almost one week. Good battery life, very smooth. There are some minor bugs but it has become my daily driver so nothing critical.

Use the super wipe and then let rom sit for 10 minutes after boot up. And for apps I recommend apex launcher for more of an aosp feel also grab the HD YouTube here on xda just search u will find it
If you want stability and speed, battery that goes, camera, wifi,
goldfinger NexusMod3 and RaverX3X BlackEdition are rock solid... you can flash a modem that you like, just make sure to delete the system folder within the .zip.

Been using ICS perfection for a few weeks now. Haven't noticed any bugs at all besides face unlock not working right, but honestly I've used it on my tablet, it doesn't recognize me half the time and just kinda annoys me in the end. So yeah, ICS perfection makes a wonderful daily driver, just use a Bluetooth headset otherwise the person on the other end will hear themselves echo like crazy
I've tested all, and nexusmod is by far the best one. Android stock keyboard works flawlessly. Apps don't crash, wiimote connects with no issues, battery is pretty good. Feels and looks like aosp. Aosp lock screen...etc. nexusmod will be my rom till a working aosp rom comes out for our phone.

Question, what ics radio/modem do I need to install? I read the installation instructions but they never suggest when to flash it. And the skyrocket roms indicate att radios, not Tmobile. That part is what confuses the hell out of me ...

I agree with this 100%..I am on the newest version of nexusmod and it is by far the best ics port out there.for my Telus version S2.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-T989 using Tapatalk 2
Yes nexusmod is really good and stable. Its the best ics rom I've used so far and I've tested all ics roms. Vibration works perfectly the only downside with most ucld2 leak is the fix permission and reboot shutdown issue, which isn't bad you can just download quick boot from market. Ics perfection was okay but it lacks vibration and notification light up. Sky ics is nit bad either. But I prefer nexusmod

Well guys, I know there isn't a lot of stable JB roms out there.
But based on YOUR opinion and experience which ones are the best? It could be AOSP.
Actually most of them I've tried have been pretty stable. I'm on paradroid right now and everything is smooth.

Read those threads and see what people post the most of. Being spoon fed is shunned here. It only takes about 5 minutes to skim through the last 5 pages and get an idea of the ROM.

I personally have been using Deviant Dev FrostyJB_4.1.1-v6. It is really fast but not has fast as Wicked ICS v7 Rom. But I just love the Frosty Jelly bean the only problem I am having now is that whenever I restart my phone it switches the default keyboard back to stock and not swiftkey 3.
i've been jumping around from CM10 nightlies, PA 2.23/2.51/2.52, and Liquid Smooth RC7... trying to find a good battery.
out of the 3, i like CM10 the most, so i'll probably go back to CM10 nightlies, if not CM10 M2.
My fav have been so far Frostys and Paranoid Android, Im currently using the Sprint Jellybean release which seems to be to basic compared to those mentioned.
Latest cm10 nightly for me

does CM10 have a lut of bugs? or its a every day ROM?

We do appreciate the hard work developers contribute to our Hercules community. Other users preference is not a weakness.
I'm up for it. This seems to be the one rom that my phone works the best with and battery life is fantastic. I've tried several ICS roms and while I really like certain things about them, for whatever reason, they don't always play nice on my phone.
get it

Rooting is for those of us who like to mess with our phones. Too root your phone and then throw stock back on it in some cases makes no sense. If you are happy with your phone then dont touch it.
Everyone's rooting experience is different so asking others will only give you some false info and some true info. Again only way to find out is to do it for yourself. Go into development and read up on the roms and see which one makes you go damn this looks nice and flash it
You cant recommend jedi jelly to a noob...it still has a few issues to be worked out. But i do suggest rooting and flashing roms. And asking whats the best/most stable rom you're going to get alot of diffrrent answers. Just try them for yourself.
