Hi all,
I looked through the forums and google and couldn't find an answer to my question.
My clock widget on my lockscreen has a delay in updating. It's bugging me because I see the stock time in my status bar and then my lockscreen widget time and they aren't the same. Takes about 1-10 seconds to update and when I first wake up my phone its still on the old time. Works fine with clock widgets from stock...so I can't figure out why this is happening with UCCW and Minimalist Text.
Help would be greatly appreciated!!
thanks!

Fixed it. Select force widget update in settings
I can't find that option on UCCW and I'm having the same issue, where is it?
Thanks.

Ok, like the title suggests. The Lock screen shortcuts for Phone/Email/SMS and camera disappear every once in a while. They are still enabled in the settings menu.
It happened once before, i rebooted and they came back. But now the shortcuts are gone, and I dont know how to get them back :O
Anyone with similar problem?

One time I had this issue. After restarting the device it disappears until today.
its like a random problem... i had it once in a while... even sometimes after restart...
Do you use some task killer? Make sure not to kill HTC Lockscreen app. I noticed that after it is killed then the icons on lock screen disappear.

Make sure you didn't disable it at the Personalize screen.

Thanks, maybe that's the reason for my lockscreen icons disappearing every now and then.
I've added the lockscreen app to the ignore list of TasKiller
Hi!
I'm having the same problem: at random times icons dissapear. Sometimes lock screen with shortcuts gets replaced with lock screen with weather!
Does anyone know, that can one change lockscreen style on One V? And what makes lockscreen change like that?
thanks in advance
Ok I seem to have figured it out. In my case atleast, if I remove the clock widget which comes out of the box, the shortcuts disappear.
I had a great wallpaper and the clock was blocking the entire thing so I removed it, and with that the shortcuts disappeared. I have treied it 4-5 times now and everytime I remove the clock shortcuts disappear.
Now there might be other reasons for others problems, It might be totally random but for me so far it seems like its cos of the clock being removed. Weird.

I found the solution for weather lock screen- it seems that somewhere in the settings you can choose to show weather lockscreen as the first lockscreen of the day
In case it disappears, remove one icon from the dock bar and add it again.. And bam, the lockscreen shortcuts are back!!!!

You don't have to be a farmer to know what sh*t smells like.
Are you using HTC Sense as a launcher? The shortcuts on the lock screen assume that you have the bar in the bottom of the screen that comes with HTC Sense. If you switch launcher, the shortcuts will only be there momentarily.
Not Worked for me
My lockscreen icons are gone.. also none of lockscreen styles work....
Hi Guys,
Just started using Sense 4.0. Stupid question... much like the previous versions of Sense, the weather animations (wipers when raining, clouds across the screen, and etc...) that used to show up on the screen when the phone was unlocked; has Sense 4 gotten rid of these animations?
I mean, I see the weather animations in the clock/weather app, the Weather lock screen, but not the animations that used to show up on the home screen, after the phone was unlocked... Is that gone in Sense 4? Can someone confirm? Thank you.
The full screen animations are selected when you add a weather widget, such as the default clock. Just remove the clock, and add it again, it'll give you the option
No it hasn't gone from sense 4.0, you just need to remove the clock widget and then add it to the home screen again and it will give you the option to enable full screen weather animations. Hope this helps.
Edit: looks like edge3uk just beat me to it.
Hi
Yes you can get weather animations, you have a couple of choices:
On the Lock Screen
Go to Settings - Personalise - Lock Screen and select Weather. Now whenever you turn your phone on you get a weather animation for your location.
As a wallpaper
Go to Settings - Personalise - Wallpaper - Live Wallpapers and select the Weather
Note that these options, especially the live Wallpaper will be using a little bit more battery power then viewing a static wallpaper image, of course that only impacts you if the phone spents a lot of time on with the wallpaper on show.
Another option, generally more accurate, in real 3D, is to look out of a window or go outside Yes I too have animated weather, it just looks cool lol.
Edit: and another way is to use the widget as already posted, so that makes 3 so far.
Regards
Phil
It is off by default. Just long press the clock&weather widget and push it to edit, click your current location, and tick show full screen animation.
Guys,
thank you for ALL your wonderful replies! Indeed, the animations work for me now, BUT, I cannot figure out what "triggers" them on the home screen... they just happened randomly, I can't deliberately kick em off...
For example in earlier Sense versions, the way to kick it off was, EVERY time you unlocked the phone, and the home screen had the Weather clock, the animations would go....
That doesn't happen in Sense 4, can someone confirm this or tell me what I am missing?
Thanks again!
well for me they only appear after unlock.

Sorry to bug you guys, but I have a slight problem with my widgets on tonyskyfall's Ignorance v4. When I try to add a 4x2 widget to the homescreen, it appears to occupy 4 x 3 grid space, leaving these huge gaps above, and below the widget. This has occured with the Facebook widget, and the Poweramp 4x2 widget. I know it seems like a silly problem, but do any of you guys have a fix for this? I'll be posting screenies soon.

I have the same issue after flashing the PanaroidAndroid 4.4 on my galaxy SII, I'd also like to know if there's a fix. For the moment my only solution was to reduce the dpi from 240 to 220 but obviously it's just a workaround, everything got smaller on screen...
Hi Guys,
I really enjoy the Evie Launcher. But my question is, how do i get the clock back? I pressed and held the screen to go to widgets but it's not showing up? Any one else have this issue?

Nice launcher, just installed it. Clock does not appear. Try download 3rd party clock widget.

Yeah, might be locked for LG Launcher only. Bummer. Wonder if I will still get animation for weather. haha.
As the title says, i accidentally removed the default clock widget while fixing my homescreen. Is there any way to restore this? I cant find it in the widgets which is odd. And i really like this one as it shows the weather too and font is nice lol. Please help, im desperate!

I think you need to choose widget from the default weather app.
Both the Clock app and the Weather app have clock widget.
