No Saturday delivery..its a higher premium service. Of course, you can call and upgrade for it I suppose.
Just placed an order on Handtecs website. Assuming they finish dispatching all preorders on 22nd and 23rd, hopefully mine ships on the 24th. And since Thanksgiving has passed here in Canada, i hope to receive it by Tuesday or Wednesday next week Total is 440gbp with 2-4day Fedex shipping.
Yes i know the GN will be released here in Canada on Dec8 but im going away on a holiday trip on the 7th and want this shiny new gadget on my hands before the trip

I am from canada also and ordered a shiny new gn, i am expecting to pay something like 100$ for duty fees.
No, as long as the stuff is under $1,000 there is no GST or any other tax.
I ordered my Galaxy Nexus on Sunday and as of this weekend I still haven't received a shipment notification or tracking number yet my card has been charged already.
I was hoping for Amazon or Apple level service but I guess not. Anyone else who's ordered one recently had it ship yet or is the 2 day shipping they offer only 2 day shipping after 2 days of order processing?
I ordered mine the night it was announced. Got it 2 days later. Ordering on a Sunday is a bad idea. Not only is it the weekend, but they'll have to back process all the other weekend orders as well.

I got mine two days after I ordered. I placed my order on the 24th and it came on the 26th.
I ordered mine Thursday night, didn't receive a "shipped" confirmation until Friday night (a whole day) and it actually didn't ship until this morning.
So you should get a "ship" confirmation sometime tonight or tomorrow morning. It takes a day or two to process. You haven't even waited a day.
Ordered mine on the 24th and it was delivered to me on the 26th..

I got mine 2 days after I ordered.
Ordered mine on Thursday and got it today. If you read the website it takes 4 "business days". So it will probably ship on Tuesday and you will get it Thursday. I'm already rooted rocking aokp on T-Mobile. Bought the same phone on sprint cause I already had sprint, but the network is just atrocious and didn't want to have this awesome phone on their crap network any more. Speeds on T-Mobile are amazing so far.

I was thinking of ordering it from google, but then where I am currently living in (Hong Kong), You can get it at a much cheaper deal by going to a local retail store (fortress). How much did you get your for? I'm going to get mines for around $3000 HKD.

I ordered mine on Saturday, 2AM AST. It would be interesting if I receive it before OP does, since I live in Puerto Rico (note: only difference between mail here and in any of the contiguous 48 states is that the only ground shipping option available would be a diver walking the Atlantic Ocean).
By the way, still haven't even received a shipping notice. That'll hopefully happen tomorrow!

hello everyone, i just ordered my my galaxy nexus from google play for 350.00 , i just wanted to know how long it will take to get it i ordered it yesterday tuesday august 28th and got an email today around 2:30 am, saying my order has shipped and gave me a tracking number. so exactly when will it get here friday or saturday? i know that ups has free 2 day shipping but what i read on google play says that it takes 4 days 2 to process and ups's 2 day shipping. but i read other people got in 3 even 2 days. so if anyone can tell me when it will most likely come, i live in virgina beach virginia if that helps please any answers will be helpful

My bet is the AT&T version will not be available on launch day at Best Buy. AT&T is shipping online preorders today. A group of us have been waiting for the Sprint version at Best Buy and have recently confirmed that the white version is finally arriving at the stores but they can't sell them until the 11th. Sprint stores started selling them on 10-25. This means Sprint Corporate probably had exclusivity for a couple weeks to sell the phones first and AT&T will probably do the same thing.

I just called best buy mobile and canceled my order. The Guy said they wouldn't have them for delivery until the 15th at the earliest. I'll just pick one up somewhere Friday, hopefully.

I guess I'll be calling today to check the same thing, I'll cancel my order as well if this is the case.
I called Best Buy and Best Buy Mobile in Greenwood Indiana. The Mobile store says they have it on the 11th and Best Buy store said they don't have a date yet. Suffice it to say I will be at the AT&T store at 9am picking up the Note 2 and cancelling my order with Best Buy Mobile.

Don't shoot yourself in the foot. Cancel NOTHING until you have one in hand, as the average employee, phone rep etc. at Best Buy OR AT&T haven't a clue when they will have or ship anything other than what they hear from the folks around them. You just have to check your options, and be ready to pounce if one turns up, LOL, but canceling orders on spec is a losing game, trust me, I have been there and done that more than once. My frustration is I only have a debit card, and any pre-order I ever place always debits the money for at least a week, and then rills the charge off if it has not delivered or shipped. It ties up my money so I can't hedge my bets with a backup plan. Fortunately i git lucky this go around and have one arriving via Fedex late delivery tomorrow.

I work for best buy mobile so I can counter-confirm your claim. We have a HARD street date for AT&T of 11/9 and sprint is 11/11. That may have been what they were referring to. Or you got a dumb employee that doesn't know how to pull up street dates. And trust me, I know more than my **** when it comes to AT&T releases for this company
I'm in NYC, 5th ave store & Union Square store confirms Sunday the 11th. But for the Sprint version. They already have them. AT&T isnt in stock yet and should arrive towards the end of the month (or 2 weeks).

Did you have the Note 2's in store as of today or are you expecting them to arrive in a truck early tomorrow?
When I called the best buy mobile number from their website, the rep claimed that they should have them in stores tomorrow according to their system. So hopefully that is the case...

I tried to order in the store on Monday and they told me they were out of pre-orders. I talked to the manager and they are going to give me the $200 gift card when I receive my phone even though I had to have it shipped to my house. I picked up a net 10 smartphone for $20 that day to use as my trade in.

I pre-ordered online. I noticed the pre-authorization that Sprint put on my debit card got credited back, so once they put in the actual charge for the device and ship it, I'll make sure to post here.
That's interesting because my charge wasn't a preauthorization. It was a real charge that posted to my american express a day after I made the purchase. I just checked it again and it is still there.

Interesting. I had to pay a down payment with mine (that's what sucks when you have no credit and pay cash for everything in your life). So I paid $250 + estimated sales tax of $53.38, so a total of $303.38. They pre-authed that amount to my debit card. A day later, Sprint changed the order total, as the system charged me too much sales tax. The actual tax owed is $48.60, so the actual total was $298.60, so they credited me the $303.38 and will instead charge the proper $298.60 once the device ships.

I as well paid the 299 (349 without the credit coming) plus tax upfront the day I pre ordered it. My order went in 4 minutes after the pre orders started and within about 2 minutes it showed up through my bank and cleared just a day later. I expected sprint to charge me for the upgrade fee but they did not yet. Maybe they are waiting for me to actually do the swap.
The T-mobile thread definitely has me wondering if Sprint is sitting on a bunch of Note 4's and just waiting to get them shipped just in time for the 17th. If Sprint ships UPS it will show up in MyUPS and I will get an email. Hoping to see some activity on Monday.
I pre-ordered through best buy and they charged my card the full amount ($903 which includes expedited shipping) but then it wasn't showing on there a couple of days later. I called to make sure my order wasn't cancelled and the best buy rep told me the card would be charged when the phone ships.
I'm supposed to be getting a price match of $720 then a $200 best buy gift card for trading a working smartphone. I hope this works out like the store manager says.
I was in my local Sprint Store today for repair of my wife's G3 and I mentioned that T-mobile users were already getting their Note 4. The first guy said "Impossible, Samsung will not allow it" but the guy in the back room working on someones phone said "Yeh my brother got his a few hours ago" he continued with the possibility that Sprint will start shipping on Monday or Tue for pre-orders in order to guarantee that it will be delivered by the end of the day on release date. So some may get it as early as Wed or as late as Friday. Nothing is for certain as Sprint may wait till Thursday and ship it next day air saver (assuming they use UPS) in which case it could be as late at 8 P.M Friday.
In my opinion I cant see Sprint waiting to the last second. Yes pre-ordering has its advantage of making sure you get your phone in que but I cant see them making it available in stores on Friday morning while the rest of us who pre ordered are just waiting on delivery. I am willing to bet the Wed or Thur delivery is a bit more reasonable. My neighbor did not pre-order but is planning on just walking into sprint when they open on Friday to buy one. Would be a crappy feeling to see him with his Note 4 before me when I ordered it 3 weeks ago.

I pre-ordered through Best Buy and called their "mobile hotline" today to check on arrival date and they said it's currently in transit with delivery on the 16th. I'm hoping Best Buy doesn't hold it for a day to be released, but there's potential for people who purchased through BB that'll their device will be a day early.
The sales rep told me (if he knew what he was talking about) when I pre-ordered on sept 26th, first day of allowed pre-order that I would probably be on the second shipment due to the number of orders already placed that day so possibly there is a Oct 15th arrival for the initial group.
When I spoke to Sprint today I got quite the run around. When I check my order, which was placed on the third, It's still sitting in the same state it was at when I originally received the order number. Called this afternoon to ask and was told that Sprint has yet to receive any phones, which I'm sure isn't true, and that all the blame is on Samsung. I asked how T-Mobile customers received their phones and was pretty much ushered off the phone. I was told that the release date was "around" October 17th and was then hung up on.
I don't even care, I assume they'll do right by us, I just hate receiving the BS canned responses.
There is a discussion going on over at the official Sprint forums. Someone who claims to work at UPS says that on Monday he saw the the labels which indicate a Tue Wed ship out. Now I don't work for UPS but I thought that the company who is shipping would do the printing, taping, and sending to UPS. I cant see sprint showing up with 10,000 phones and all the UPS employees having to tape the labels on the boxes before ship. I can see the info being sent electronically though and maybe this person has access to it.
I keep reading that AT&T is shipping Monday night into Tuesday. No word from Verizon or Sprint.

If that person works for UPS Supply Chain he may be telling the truth. They warehouse and ship for hundreds of companies.

I tried pre ordering on best buy website but it wouldn't let me. I called them and they said that they are in the process of removiing all ordering of AT&T devices online. You now can only order or pre order in-store only. But they weren't certain that you could even do that any more. The rep and a supervisor stated its a recent change as of last week. I called Att and they said the only promo's they had was like $5 off a stupid selfie stick. So I will be trying my to get best buy and their $100 gift card to let me order it through them instead of Att. We'll see I'll be stopping by tomorrow.

I was able to pre-order from Best Buy as a 2-yr subsidized phone instead of NEXT. Just had to go into the store. No real hoops to jump through, took about 10 minutes and a good chunk of that was from a frozen computer. Although I still haven't been told when I'll be able to pick it up. I'm hoping it's same as AT&T stores.

I had preordered through BestBuy because of the $100 gift card but was going to buy the phone straight up for $629.99 but they had a later release date (6/12). Checked the preorder through AT&T and they let me do a 2 year contract and get it for $199.99. Which to me is a way better deal IMO. So cancelled with BB and ordered with AT&T earlier today and I just got an email saying it shipped. :good::good:

Pre ordered this morning and mine will be shipped out monday 6-1.
Anyone heard if Bestbuy will be shipping on 6/5 instead of 6/12?
still undecided if i get the tmo or att version to run on att
or maybe switch carriers to tmo. any thoughts? in far north Dallas.
I ordered from Best buy yesterday. The chick wouldn't tell me anything about when they would be ready for pick up. The only thing she said was that they usually have the phones before the carriers do. I'm not in any hurry to get the phone I just needed a new phone because my screen is going out on my G2. Otherwise I probably wouldn't even upgrade. Hopefully we get emails saying they are ready for pickup sooner rather then later though.
Just went into ATT store to pre-order to get the spare battery and 32G sdcard. One wrinkle ... I still have unlimited international data (YAY) and there was absolutely no way to preorder and keep that. I was there for over an hour, most of it with the rep on the phone trying to figure out how to keep the unlim-data.
Turns out you can NOT pre-order and keep that feature - it will force you to a 3G plan. The only way is to walk in and buy one *from store inventory*, then I can keep the unlim-data.
So be careful - if you have expired features, they may get whacked ...
With the pre-order you can get a 7" tablet for $0.99, but it's a new device on your plan - $10/mo. By buying from store inventory, it's an 8" tablet with stylus.

I went ahead and reserved mine through BB; The AT&T units are supposed to be in on Friday!

Preordered through BB as well (ATT). 6/5 verified, well the truck gets in the 4th so I may see if I can pick it up a day early
Is it confirmed that you don't get the $100 gift card if you buy the device outright without a contract?
Anyone that ordered through AT&T get a shipping confirmation yet? I was reading in another thread that one user that also ordered from AT&T checked his status and it says "Back ordered" . Just checked mine and it says preorder processing. I did order on 5/29 around 12:30am.

After preordering phones through at&t website for years, I figured I would have learned my lesson about their mess. I have not gotten any info yet either except preparing to ship for the past few days.
Update: Just got my tracking.
FWIW I went to an AT&T store today to potentially go and pre-order one. However the rep told me that they would have ample stock on Friday and it would just be easier to come back then and pick one up in store. They assured me that stock would not be an issue. That might be a good alternative for anyone looking to pick one up.
So I just got the email with the tracking info. Says it will be here on Thursday!
