How do i delete the photos that were synced from my facebook? i try to select them but the only option i get is slideshow
Delete the Facebook app and reinstall it. When you load it for the first time there will be an option to sync albums, just uncheck it and you are good to go. I had the same problem and figured it out about 10 minutes ago.

might be able to simply "clear data" instead of uninstalling.
Clear data didn't work for me.

You can go into setting then accounts. And on your facebook account you have the options to sync contacts and sync pictures just uncheck picks

Unselect sync picasa images.
Delete them the usual way.

Click to collapse
Open gallery, press menu, view by and select the one you want.
Did that. But every time I go back into gallery it defaults to showing them again.

If you log in on your computer you can see all your g+ albums and photos from posts. You can manually delete them there. That's the only solution I can find

Disable picasa and google photos under google sync. Then clear data for the gallery app.

Can't find the picasa and google photos under sync..
Settings -> Accounts -> Google -> *****@gmail.com -> Uncheck what you do not wish to sync.
That doesn't get rid of the ones in your gallery
Edit: un checking sync and clearing gallery data worked. Thank you.

What will happen is I delete the "temp" album in gallery?
My calendar is littered with facebook contacts birthdays does anybody know how to get rid of these? I went to Facebook and couldn't find anything that seems to sync my calendar, I also went to application manager and cleared my calendar data but that didn't help.

Does any one know why all my accounts that need
syncing ( Google account, drop box, whatsapp ect) all show account disabled. I don't get emails unless I manually sync the phone. I'm rooted but still on the stock Rom with stock kernel.
See below pic for an example of what I'm talking about.

Actually once you delete them in Picasa they are deleted, at that point you would have resync the device so that it syncs with the app and updates that you deleted the pictures. Then they would dissappear from your gallery.
The reason you could not delete them from the gallery is that those pictures are not actually on your device but on the cloud. They are merely represented in the gallery because you synced it. Once you delete them from Picasa they would have deleted automatically from your gallery once synced.
Have a great day!
