[Q] In call volume on CM7? - Samsung Galaxy Gio GT-S5660

Anyone else notice that stock roms have much better in call volume, vs CM7 roms. When im using CM& roms, and get a call on the bus, i can barely hear it, however on stock roms its nice, loud and clear. This happens on any CM& based rom, and works fine on any stock rom.

Use earphones/headphones then

S2 T989D -static noise on incoming/outgoing calls - cant hear the ring or voice

Hi Everyone,
Bought a refurbished Telus S2x phone recently and I'm having issues with Static noise for incoming and outgoing calls. Rebooting fixes it but again i get the issue after few hours. The noise does not sound like underwater like stated in other forms but it is just pure noise, i absolutely cant hear anything proper, the ring nor the person on the other side. So i dont know what such kind of noise is called to search in the forms.
Any help will be helpful. I have tried applying different custom ICS roms with various combinations of radios etc but still the same. Please advice. Currently im on Darkside TTLE Rom with Telus radio.
Thanks for any help
Uh maybe you should try contacting Samsung instead

does this happen on your stock rom as well? You mentioned you have tried with many different rom/radio set ups, but didn't mention how it responded on stock. If it's happening on stock as well, then i would suggest getting a refund or contacting Samsung.

Bad call sound quality?

Hey guys I'm currently running liquid smooth rc7 and the uvli radio and the people I am talking to on the phone are saying that the call quality isn't sounding very good. Can someone help me out?

Click the phone icon then menu setting and noise suppress try that I have the same problem and have not tried other radios yet but it may help. Idk if it has mine don't make many calls I'll know next time I call someone when I have to yell at them for them to hear me Lol. But try that
I had the same issue on this ROM too. In fact, all JB ROMs have this problem. I went back to ICS.

Google Plus Hangout Volume Too Low?

Hi guys,
In stock Jelly bean touchwiz rom, google plus hangout was working just fine, but when I switched to MIUI or Milestone CM10 Stable, Google plus hangout volume is really low. Others can hear me fine, but I can barely them (can hear very very quietly). And I searched online, and many people have this issue with other devices. But it wasn't evident for me when I was using touchwiz rom. And others who use the same phone are using it fine, as they can hear me, and also my nexus 7 borrowed by a family oversea can hear me fine too with the tablet.
I don't want to use the touchwiz rom though..so could someone possibly help me how to get back the full volume using google plus hangout? Of course I increased all possible volume settings to max.
Would really appreciate your help!!!:fingers-crossed:

[Q] Sense audio muffled

I've noticed that in Sense ROMs that the audio of VOIP calls such as with Skype or Kakao Chat sounds low-quality and muffled. I too sound muffled to the other party. I noticed this in stock 4.1.2, ViperX 4.0.5 and MagioROM R3. Tried the latest Alex-V kernel in ViperX and MagioROM, no dice.
I have never had such an issue with AOSP-based ROMs.
Has anyone else encountered this and is it fixable?
I have found the same error in sense 5 4.2, but if you use a earphone, you shouldnt get the sound muffled to the other party, thats the only solution that i have found in stock roms

Seems like a bit of an oversight for HTC. I've switched back to CM, as VOIP calls are something I do often and I don't always have a headset on me.
Thanks.
