Has anyone who has the note 2 and galaxy s3 tried using s-beam?
I tried with my wife's phone and it kept failing and giving an error after starting the transfer, like it was having problems starting connected.

Tried it for the first time today and it worked fine between my S3 and N2.

Thanks. Can you try a larger file such as a downloaded movie (700mb)? This is what I was doing when it failed.

I did a 200mb file fine

tried it with my gnexus and couldnt do it..or didnt do it correctly..one or the other
I figured out what the problem was. I guess you can't be connected to a Wi-Fi signal when transferring via s beam. As soon as I shut Wi-Fi off, the files transferred without failing

Interesting, my Wi-Fi was on when i tested it... i was receiving the file though...Not sending it

Have same problem, but I think its related to the phone switching off the wifi so it can connect via the lousy cell signal.
Not for me
On a side note my iPad 3 freezes when I have like 3 tabs from dorkly
times like this I wonder was the res worth all this misery

I just downloaded foxfi on my s3 and its not working. I says its ready but when I try to connect my laptop up it gives me a error on my laptop. I used foxfi before on my samsung transform ultra and it worked no problems. Anyone have any solutions for it or know any other programs to do it without root.
The dl site foxfi.com/bin
Says they're working on a fix for the s3, so not yet

Those of you who it worked for: did you clear caches or do anything special after flashing? I'm still getting the same "Bluetooth turning off..." message in the bt settings page, and I'm unable to turn it back on without a reboot.

I can connect and play just fine but the quality is crap... wonder if this will fix that?
If you installed this patch delete all your devices and then turn bt on and off and see if it works...if it does cause that finally worked for me then add your devices one by one to see which one is compatible or not

I don't know if this will help, but I couldn't get BT to turn on, so I did some looking around and found a post that said to delete Pandora. So I deleted Pandora and rebooted, BT's been working for 2 days now no problems

Many thanks! I flashed this to CM 10.1 RC5a - had been having BT issues with it crashing or not being able to start for months.
Before flashing, I cleared Dalvik/Cache, flashed, fix permissions - after reboot, started BT and deleted all devices.
36 hours on it, no problems with car BT audio, no crashes.
Does a2dp work for anyone on cm10.1?

I fixed my blue roof problem by just going up there and painting the entire sucker red. Boom! Problem solved and haven't had an issue since. Sorry @PJcastaldo just had to do it. Couldn't help myself. :silly:

Ever since I've updated to zvb stock zip the play store downloads apps on LTE very slow. It will go about 32kb a minute, but I do a speed test in a browser and it is getting over 10megabit. Any ideas? Everything works flawlessly besides that
I'm experiencing the same thing. In a location with excellent lte coverage I was unable to download a 32mb app today because of error after error.

I tested it from two different LTE towers yesterday and neither would budge. But today on my way to work i tried downloading an app and it came through instantly, just like WIFI, so the issue seems to have resolved itself
So I am having a huge issue: about a year ago I rooted my sph-l900. No issues, flashed Roms perfect, no bricks, just a clean, perfect machine. Then about a week ago I decided to unroot to update to 4.3. Suddenly, Odin decides it no longer sees my phone in download mode. I've tried reinstalling drivers, using a different computer/cord, completely wiping the phone. Tried removing the battery, tried removing the SD card, even found a flashable zip that completely removed root and placed it back to stock. Now I'm at stock 4.3 and Odin still doesn't recognize my phone in download mode. I'm about to lose my mind. Anybody have a solution that doesn't involve one of the above?
Sent from my SPH-L900 using xda app-developers app
Nobody? It's recognizing my phone outside of DL mode, just no luck when I'm actually in DL mode. (Yes, I've tried both putting it in DL then plugging it in and the opposite).

Probably wrong drivers.
Wish that was it. I've used around four or five different types (based on other sph-l900 users) and all end with bollocks.

Either that or perhaps the OP is using an old copy of Odin not intended for Knox ROMs.
OP, what Odin version are you running?
I've used everything from 1.83 to 3.09. I run as administrator. I'll try another cord later today when I get off work but I don't believe that's the issue.

Have you tried a different USB port on the pc? I can usually switch between the two front ports and Odin will finally recognize it.

I had this issue before and helped someone out here recently. Despite the cable "working" most of them don't. I've ALWAYS used a genuine HTC cable (yeah I know...I have a Samsung product) whenever messing around with Odin or when connected to the baseband. Those aftermarket/ebay cables should be avoided for anything other than charging or using MTP.

Meh. Monoprice cables work fine IME.
It was an LG cord that did it. But my last cord I used was a ten dollar one from a gas station.
