I am currently rooted with CWM touch........I used snapdragon toolkit.
How do I remove CWM and install TWRP instead?
There is a thread (in development I believe) that has Odin flashable images of the various recoveries. I downloaded twrp from there and flashed with mobile Odin.

Download and install GooManager from the Play Store. In GooManager Press the phone's menu button to pull up the menu. Choose Install OpenRecoveryScript and let it install TWRP. It will take a few minutes as it downloads the file. The phone will not reboot, but you will get a notification that a new recovery was installed.

Hi XDA, I can't seem to find the latest CWM which on the site says 6.0.1.4 in a .zip flashable format. My problem is i ran 5.5.0 (iirc) flashed CM10 M1 and had a boot loop. I know from my skyrocket CWM was the culprit. Any information in solving the loop and/or CWM wil be greatly appreciated.
Thank you xda community
Go to clockworkmod.com/rommanager
find your phone on the left... the img files are in the same row as your phone...
sorry they are not flashable zip files though i think that you would need to open ADB and push them onto your phone here is a good link to get you working again...

Easiest way is to install Rom Manager from Play Store. Then from that app, you can install or upgrade your CWM.

This thread found right below my post will be of the most importance to you involving your current situation with your recovery. If you go to the CWM team website, I have linked here and browse the list of phones you'll find that the touch recovery for the AT&T variant is at 6.0.1.4. Just right click on the version number, (Don't left click as it will come up with a page full of random symbols.) and press save as and save it to the desktop. This is the bare .img file. It will have the full file name but before saving it rename it to; (without quotes) "recovery.img". After that follow the steps in the link below in order to flash it with ADB. (Since the other recommended ways aren't working for you).

ROM manager does not recognize the touch recovery since technically it is still considered experimental. Only the basic volume control recovery is recognized. This goes with saying with the free version of this app installed. I however, am not sure as to whether it recognizes it after upgrading to premium as it is a premium feature of ROM Manager.

Its alright if it isn't recognized by ROM Manager. As I said it is still considered "experimental" so it isn't supported by the app. I have had the premium version installed and it wouldn't let me flash the CWM-T through the app. Only when I used ADB did I get through. Still says nothing is installed. Just a little glitch on the developer's side if anything. Don't stress about it, once you can boot into your recovery your good.

Just untick "Auto-Reboot within odin & flash , then reboot manually power+volume up.
Another thing: I can't use odin because I don't have a computer. There's an app called flashify that installs recoveries but it still only works with 2.6.3.0. Even installing the latest version from goo manager doesn't work.

I think I will need to install TWRP with Odin -- goomanager isn't working for me. It SAYS that it has installed TWRP, but every time I try to get into recovery all I get is the standard Android recovery.
My question, please is this: where did you get the tar file for TWRP, and which slot did you use with Odin? Was it the PDA?
Thanks very much

I got mine by going to the twrp site, but I admit it wasn't exactly easy to find. You can know you're getting the right version of TWRP if you download CPU-Z from the play store and check the third page that says system; the model name gives you the store citric name you'll look for when you go to the TWRP site, but the link I gave you is for the lt03wifiue .
Have fun!

Goo manager doesn't work on our tablet for install of twrp.
Use the link four posts up for the twrp. Also, just check your SOC with CPUz, to make sure it's actually the right version of twrp for your tablet. But Odin is the way to go.

I'm hoping maybe someone could enlighten me how to get TWRP to boot into TWRP. I had CleanRom installed and everything was working with TWRP. Stupid me I thought I could help battery life by doing a Cache and Dalvik Cache wipe. Bonked my P600! I had to ODIN a new firmware, rooted and tried to get TWRP installed. I've tried the ODIN Tar method 2.6.3.1, Tried with a TWRP zip file and Goo Manager to install TWRP and none worked. When I go to recovery I keep getting the Android System Recovery. My head is banging on my desk at the moment. Would anyone have an idea how to get TWRP working on my rooted and now stock P600? I so want to get Clean 2.0 back. :crying::crying::crying::crying:
A big Thanks in advance for the help.
Solved: I'm not sure why but I tried ODIN again and TWRP install. WEIRD
Hi! I am using program GooManager and when I click "Install OpenRecoveryScript" and two times yes it says that "your download is now starting" and it never ends.. Nothing is downloading.. It means that I have latest recovery? File names "openrecovery-twrp-2.7.1.0-maguro.img". I downloaded it on my computer. Is there any way to install it manually? My phone is ofc rooted..
Just download the img and flash it via fastboot. Maybe there are flashable zips floating around.

The recovery look have changed My brain finally start to think and I did it. Thanks for help Bye! <3

I'm currently running the stock Rom with build E98020h. I have successfully achieved root access and have verified it through several apps, and also have supersu installed and seemingly operating fine. I have tried using the 'g pro kitkat recovery' app to flash the recovery, and also freegee but freegee at the opening screen says my device is unsupported. When i go into rom manager v5.5.3.7 and try install a custom rom or even just tap boot to recovery i get an error at the loading screen with the LG logo and it sits there. Am i doing something wrong or is the 20h update keeping me from being to successfully reach recovery? Any insight is greatly appreciated.

You could try using LG Flash Tool to go back to stock 4.1.2 (E98010k) and then using FreeGee to bypass and go from there. But idk if that'll work.

I don't think that's possible. You're going to have to flash back to an older version using lg flash tools. If you need to back up anything like texts and contacts, use G Cloud. If you need game data/other data related to specific apps backed up, use Helium. If you're attached to stock try flashing a stock ROM, it will be very similar to your experience now. That'll ensure you get the latest KitKat and still get stock experience... you can always go AOSP too.
thanks... I was hoping to just not have to Flashtools my phone again =P and since its been a while since I checked the forums I wasnt sure if 20h was sorted out yet or not.

I found this elsewhere trying to unlock my e980 that was on 20h when I got it.
OK so I found that G Pro KK recovery elsewhere and installed it but wasn't sure what to do from there.. Which option did you choose when running it? Flash recovery, reboot, or reboot recovery? I tried to reboot to recovery and I got into a CWM recovery, but at that point wasn't sure if I was really there or if I needed to flash the recovery from there or from the app.
I'm dying to get rid of the stock ROM on this thing but there are more steps involved than my previous devices.
Thanks!

All the APK does as I have found out is 'unlocks' the recovery access. After I ran that app I installed Freegee from the app store and installed the CMW recovery from there just to make sure it all was installed and correctly accessible. at that point you just need to download the ROM that you are intending to install and download it. put the zip somewhere in your directory. boot to recovery wipe the necessary mediums and then install from the app and CWM will take care of the rest. Most of the forum threads that have the links to the ROMs will have full instructions on how to install that certain ROM. I can supply links to some if need be. NOT MY THREADS but ones I found helpful.

installing the ROM isn't an issue for me, it's getting the recovery installed.
What process did you do after starting up the G Pro Recovery app? install recovery, reboot, then run freegee?

Yes. Open and run the G Pro Recovery app, once that is done you need to reboot. Install Freegee and open it. I installed CWM. You can use whatever you want. Then I reboot again, once the phone comes back up I used clockwork mods recovery manager to get in and out of recovery. Also, I pulled my SD card out of the phone prior to rooting as I would lose access to it after I did the process. So just to be safe you might want to do that.

Once you take the update then root your device again you have to do a factory reset on your phone in order to flash a recovery. Currently running E98020I, been there, done that! G Pro KitKat then FreeGee. Mic check 1 2, 1 2
