I thought about it....sprint moved my upgrade up for me. I went in and played with it. Just didnt do anything for me. I got my s3 launch day and love the fact this phone is so smooth and has sooooo many accessories. If i didnt have an s3 and was buying a new phone id try the note but i work in construction and wm afraid id break it in my pocket climbing a ladder lol

I agree it feels really fragile and its mammoth! I don't know if I could use this thing on a daily basis, but everything runs so smooth on it.I'm in live with my s3 and especially now with jelly bean but I'm wondering if I'll benefit with the note any more than the s3. Did you play with it in the Sprint store?

Was definitely going to but someone stole my bank card and cleaned me out. Now i dont have the cashflow. Total came to $706 for me :/
And for the op, As a sprint employee how can they justify charging $36 for activation then another $36 for an "upgrade fee" if im paying full price? My s3 was bought in june so no subsidized pricing. Cant see how thats an upgrade
Nope, but did think about it before I got the s3. Both a friend and coworker have the original note and I tried to fit in my front pockets and it was a no go for me, as this is where I usually store my phone. I do really like the note.

hell no....i already think my sgsIII is big...dont' want something bigger and that pen is useless (i have the note 10.1 and never use the stupid pen)
sorry fellas but i think im going to do it, i have a habbit of wanting the latest and the greatest. I also have the iPhone 5 but its still sealed maybe ill turn it on when the jailbreak is released. dont bash me people I dont like the iPhone it was givien to me who wouldnt take it? But yes i am going for the note 2 and ill give my gs3 to one of my buddies, they love it when i get new phones cause they know ill give my New / Old one away lol :good:

this time last week there was maybe 2-3 for sale. past couple days the whole front page is people trading their gnex or getting rid of it all together. seemed odd but I think It might be the power of samsung's superbowl commercial for the note.

i dnt know why people would trade it for the qualcomm att note, but the exynos powered international note does spank it in specs.

I hope you're referring to people maybe wanting an AT&T Note since they are from America instead of being derogatory..
I'm trading my Nexus for a Note because I want to try an international Note. Is there something wrong with that..?
It has a better processor and GPU, and I can save money on my monthly plan by switching to the Note.
A lot of the people that use the marketplace here are people that are always swapping phones to try something new.
Love my Nexus, wouldn't trade it for anything. Looking forward to the next 2 years with my baby, she is so beautiful!

kinda what I was looking for was hoping it wasn't hey lets jump ship party I wasn't invited to. I can speak on the note size and its too big not sure about the gnex either The galaxy SII please me quite a bit just want ICS.
It is surprising that people are switching OUT of GNex to Note when I did the reverse and had no regrets about it

I love the Note series. They fill a spot in the business world that should have been filled a long time ago. As an IT I sit in too many meetings where there are BBs, iPhones, iPads, etc scattered across the monstrous conference tables we have. This would make it all easier, jot a note, share stuff, send an email, browse some sites when the meeting never ends, play some games(without breaking a sweat).

So the phone has been out for a bit. Meaning that there is a decent used market for the GS3. And now that the iPhone 5 is out, the prices have dropped a bit.
I currently have a Galaxy Nexus. And I plan on most likely purchasing the next Nexus when it comes out.
I know that when the next Nexus comes out, my Galaxy Nexus' resale value will plummet. But the GS3 resale value won't by as wide of a margin.
So I figured that I'd actually be saving money by swapping to the GS3 now. And even if the Nexus isn't available, I'll still have the GS3 as a solid phone until something else comes along.
Other reasons:
>LTE just went live in Portland
>I need something with a decent camera.

Yeah. You buy it used, after the seller gets the money, he reports it lost/stolen which gets it blacklisted. Buyer is then screwed.

Meet the person at an ATT store and do the purchase there so you can verify that the person didn't steal it.

if the seller has phone insurance that covers lost/stolen phones, yes, they give a new phone and blacklist the old one.
