Thanks for the link, mate
I used this MOD since v1 (it was called ultimatesound) and I knew about installation guide, we have to disabled one of them.
in my experienced, noozxoide installation package's not stable (FC) since first installed,
as like as v2 they didn't brought SRS Panel and Dolby app in installaion package, and used DSP as default, looks better
thats why I told better renamed noozxoide.txt as based in my experience
Last night, I had reflashed CM9 B3, and reflashed ACID v4 and still got noozxoide FC, coz I forgot to rename it
this morning I found updater for noozxoide as pro version from playstore, thats great
after noozxoide updated, I got NO FC anymore until today

For me this is a downgrade in sound quality .
Overall sound quality not as good as DSP v3 or even stock Music FX .
Preset lost Acoustic thats replaced with Amestrise preset that sound like the drums are playing inside an old tin can .
jje
@JJEgan
in older dsp if you variable equalizer to higher +6 sound is not good (very high and not normal) and if select bass boost exterme bass is distort .
i try provide sound neutralize than before And Drier bass with stock headphone .

Nope sound level is 4 and moderate setting bass is not used so that's not the problem .
Noticeable though that the app does not show in sound settings music effects therefore unable to switch from music fx as per DSP 3.
jje
MusicFX.apk in other phones (s2 anf note) get error anf when install this mod auto delete MusicFX.apk.
if you realy want to use just put this into system/app.
Thanks but deleted the app and reverted pre install .

but i don,t know MusicFX.apk what do ?! music player stock without MusicFX.apk working. and other sound of s3 not Affected (maybe i mistake)
@ Schrotty35
cm10 has many problem (and now with new kernel update Increase problem and ue) . I dont know this problem for what . you can use dspmanager stock cm 10 for better reason.

Low sound problem in PACman v22.0.1 - Themed v3( both in walkman and apollo )

Hey xda fans I know you are very helpful and nice people out there. So my problem is as i mentioned at the title I get really low sound in both applications (walkman and apollo). Hope that you have some knowledge about that problem or i consider installing another custom ROM.

Try flashing either QcAE or acid sound mods.
Both of these will improve your overall sound quality and volume.
Personally I use QcAE.

Clear Sound Effects, Low Bass Boost on S3 (GT-I9300)

Hi ALL!
Ever wanted to have a real bass boost effect on your Galaxy S3 GT-I9300? Sure you have heard off beats bass mods but have they ever worked for you?
So far, I have been tinkering around on Sony Audio effects mod, Beatsbass mods and none of them gave me the best bass boost I ever wanted until I tried using this one small library and audio config. I have created a flashable zip for this so just flash it via clockwork recovery.
Requirements for Your Satisfaction:
- Android default MusicFX
- Google Play Music app
- Remove other soundfx modifications
- Stock kernel (may work with other kernels but not tested)
- Stock ROM (may work with other ROMs but not tested)
- Android Jelly Bean ROM(really, who still uses ICS on S3 GT-I9300?)
Whats Diff/New:
- 6 Graphical Equalizer for frequencies: 15Hz, 62Hz, 250Hz, 1kHz, 4kHz, and 16kHz
- Lower and "real" Bass Boost effect
Compromises:
- No presets available. (You may try the settings I have in the screenshot)
- 3D Effect is not as cool as SRS but stereo range is wide on this mod. (the 3D effect only adds echo. The reason for that is to make sure that the bass boost is not overpowered - not sure if that is right description to it.)
Ever since I discovered the rich bass boost plus clear audio on this mod I made, I have been listening to music all day with my S3 plus an Audio-Technica ATH-SJ33 headset, I felt like I have the whole 5.1 Sound System in my head.
Hope you'll love the effects.
Added Android JB 4.3 version.
Fixed the Android JB 4.3 version flashable zip file.
Added support for Android KitKat 4.4 version.
High Quality = High Quality
And yes, you'll need a headset/earphones that can handle low frequencies like 5-10Hz with high tolerance as this can relatively damage "cheap" headsets.
WARNING: Do not expose your ears to very high volume with this mod for a very long time.
Or your ears will explode!
Can you make this for CM 10.1?
Using this on UltimaROM 12.0.1 and playing modern swedish death metal with low end frequencies at pretty high levels (not selfdistorted but close) is freaking enjoyable thru my Koss headphones. Good work, dude! You gived me an reason to get some extra boner from now on.

I never thought of have such amazing sound quality in my phone. Of course that a decent earphones are essential.
V4A is truely powerful IMO, provided you've spent a certain amount of time tuning it's parameters!
