Sprint 4g LTE in Baltimore? - Sprint Samsung Galaxy S III

So I just update to the JB rom supposed to be released today and now I am not getting 4g LTE. Didnt notice until I left to goto the store and out of range of my wifi, but I have went back and tried older updates of ICS and JB and nothing.
Just wondering if anyone lives in/around Baltimore having issues?

Please take all LTE discussions to the sticky
Thanks

[Q] Sprint LTE live in alot of places but Galaxy Nexus rooted having issues

Sprint customers have joined the modern world as the carrier officially turns on its LTE network today in Kasnsas City and St. Joseph, Missouri and in 13 markets in Georgia and Texas.
Does LTE work for you and you're in a market that is listed above? Seems as if Rooted users are having issues even when going back to stock. I was rooted on ICS and was fine. When i went over to JB is when i cant even get the radio to pull a LTE signal at all. Others report a signal and then they loose quickly. I Tried FD02 and FG01
Also i already went back to Factory ICS and seems as rooting JB did something to the radio. Anyone would like to chime in, that would be great.
Try this test and see if you can get LTE http://s4gru.com/index.php?/topic/1597-lte-and-the-galaxy-nexus/ <---If you cant get LTE to work with this test "as myself" I think we messed up something.
Lol you checked the box "is this a question" guess where this should have gone?

I only get a weak LTE signal once in a while in Valley Ranch and at the North Dallas Parkway and I-635. But more importantly, where the heck did you find radio FH01???

I think he meant FG01. And that's in development.

Houston Texas LTE

Here in north houston i had the best LTE experience but at my work by 290 and beltway 8 experienced data problems. 3g one minute 4g another minute then nothing. Called sprint they said for me to switch to cdma for now til tomorrow because they where working on towers and should be done thursday. The lady specified that on thursday to turn back to LTE/CDMA and update prl and profile and call back and they will credit me back. I was too much of in a hurry to ask what kind of credit anyone have a idea whats there meaning or "Credit"?

Hows your 3g speed?
I live in Atascocita and I've experienced hit or miss 4G. Strangely, when I go to work (Baytown), it pops up fairly frequently.
i get solid LTE in Cypress... particularly around Louetta nd Grant... I got decent LTE over on Westheimer just west of the Galleria... Oh and also got solid LTE around Tidwell/Hollister and 290... these were all places where i was inside a building not driving thru...
Im guessing 290 and beltway 8 is just a bad area slow 3g by my work even though i see all these phone towers
Maybe they will be releasing LTE in Maryland soon then.
Waiting for LTE in New Jersey and all of New York state/city. Im hearing a lot of good things about it and from the screen shots in the other threads it seems like our phones are gonna be pretty fast. Cant wait for 800mhz and Clearwire TD LTE to be launched.

Houston... damn fast where you can find it. My personal best so far is 31535kb/s down 12002kbps up with 49ms ping off of Almeda and 610 near the medical center. I am impressed so far, they just need it on more towers. Seems like they only have 1 in every 3 upgraded max.
s4gru is a great place for updates on LTE, if you have sprint and are on XDA I would be surprised if you are not also registered there.
*edit* just noticed all the LTE threads in general, I was wondering why a sticky for LTE! Now I see... people must be excited.
When I get lte, I feel that I'll be at the top of the speeds chart again. I already have maxed 3g speeds at my house.
That sucks. our Dallas LTE thread was closed and now were stuck in a General. Personally i would prefer to have a thread with each city so i can focus on my issues and location not a general every LTE discussion..
Hope the Moderator who closed our Dallas LTE thread is reading and will open ours back up.

I am agnostic on the issue at XDA. On the flip side, the proliferation of threads was getting very confusing, even though many users shared common issues such as the need to update to LG8.
If you want to explore LTE in detail, including lots of threads and LTE network expertise, I suggest that you try the S4GRU.com site and consider becoming a sponsor to gain access to the detailed area-specific maps. Sprint's LTE rollout is the primary focus of that site, and general forums like this one will never match its content.
Im a member of their site, not a sponsor though. I was looking for an open forum to discuss what we had been discussing in the closed Dallas LTE forum.
So to all those who were in that forum lets do like boomerbubba suggest and go to the other place to continue our discussion.
This is in La Porte (outside of Houston) at East Pasadena and Underwood.

Getting good speeds in Raytown MO. About 20 minutes from the Sprint Headquarters.

No signal in Richmond , TX .
However, signal seems very strong withing the 610 loop (UH-main campus, Buffalo Speedway&610)
Near boston. I was in Nashua Nh And 4g kicked in (weird). I didnt get to run speed test I just bought the s3 but the internet was flying. I will test when Im there again.
I was getting some pretty good speeds today in Lowell, MA... 25 miles outside of Boston. I'll have to try Nashua as I live in the town over, but it's a no go at my place

makes me sad that baltimore was the first Wimax City (or at least one of them) yet we havent seen nor heard a word about LTE. WIsh they would let us roam with LTE because verizon's LTE in baltimore/washington is beast.
I take that back, apparently we are getting in in September... Should be good then. Ill update as it comes in.
Hopefully the DC area will be lit up soon. Getting the phone hopefully by the end of the month and 4g should be popping up
I'm in DC also... I've been waiting since day one.. I can say that all the DMV tower are ready for LTE. They did a test run last week in NW. Every phone is switch to 3g only with you first get it. I switch n saw a one bar signal. I walked to the sprint truck n ask she how was it going with the test run? She said Great. Fixing the Wimax tower. I told her really, it looks like the LTE is on and running. It was on for 45min. It like I was on my WiFi. Sprint don't Fail me like wimax.
Well South Carolina has yet to taste the sweet nectar of WiMax and LTE. Sprint has never attempted to roll out some WiMax here and I'm not even looking forward to seeing LTE ever come here either.
So there is no LTE in the DC/MD area? I thought there was....dang. Ill be up there this weekend on vacation and was hoping to test it out

Sprint's ny lte service

Hey everyone,
I'm looking for an update on Sprint's LTE rollout in the NY area specifically in the Flushing, Queens area. I know officially it won't be until at least 3rd quarter 2012 for official roll out (I think) in the NY area. But unofficially 4G WiMax was available in my neighborhood about 6-9 months before the unofficial roll out.
So if anyone can provide some feedback I'd appreciate it.
Thanks.

[Q] Roaming Woes on FI27

I'm visiting the family in SE Kansas for the holidays and have yet to get ANY signal on my Epic 4G Touching running Re-Calked FI27. 3G signal is decent back home in Austin but I get the "no signal" icon here pretty much all the time.
I checked Sprint's coverage map for the area and we're definitely off-network. FWIW, my wife has a Sprint iPhone 4S that gets decent signal around these parts, though it usually says she's on the "Extended" network.
What gives? Is this a modem issue? (I've flashed through a few that have done well back in Austin) Is it a limitation of the device not being able to connect to the wireless band supported by the towers around here? I can't even get signal to do a PRL update, but I'm not sure it would matter. Would the Roam Control app be worth buying?
I'm stuck. Thanks for reading.
I think I might've "fixed" it by toggling the roaming options off and then back on. I now have the bar icon w/ the triangle above it, although the signal is pretty low. I'd still like to discuss this problem further, though.

I don't use Roam Control. I uploaded a Verizon PRL to the phone. Check this thread for what you need.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1267893
I have the 00002 PRL on my phone. You can do a PRL update to return back to Sprint whenever you get back home.
That's all I know. Hope it helps...
How's the 00002 prl working for you?
