I'd sell it. There are plenty of people around that would love to buy it as a backup phone... that is, until something comparable comes out that we G2/Desire Z owners would replace our phone with.

The game gripper is a physical piece of rubber (product) that you can buy which fits over the vision's keyboard.
It has gamepad buttons that press keyboard buttons letting you have the experience of a console like controller while playing console games with an emulator. There's no better console emulation experience than the game gripper aside from pairing a controller.

Id just sell it, the Desire Z is worth more than the Tmobile G2 variant. If it were a G2 I would keep it since the resale value is so low.
I'm going to keep it, since I'm going to iOS with iPhone 5 or possibly WP8 if Nokia can make a flagship device that doesn't weigh 185 grams.

so guys, i;ve made a MusicICE ROM (from my BlackICE port):
i removed ALOT of system apps, and integrated some music players in it, like musixmatch, google music, and usound (for downloading music), there's also dsp manager in it.
i chose BlackICE because the signal bars look like those music bars on dsp manager.
anyone interested? please suggest some more modifications/apps to be implemented and i'll upload it ASAP if you guys are interested.
PS: i can even make a sense ROM just for that, but CM7 is faster...

hmmm not yet...i have played on track so far though and my current thoughts are that the Nexus speaker is extremely quiet compared to the S2....also is anyone any good with facebook integration? it seems totally broken on this nexus...it may just be because of pre release software though
That's a damn shame. I'm coming from the HTC Sensation, for which the speaker volume is decidedly anemic. This better not be a trend amongst phones :\
I wish I could be of service in terms of Facebook integration. I'm assuming you mean integration with your Contacts and stuff? Aside from removing/re-adding it in the Accounts & Sync settings, I'm not sure what options you have.
yeahh it wont even let me add the account...it's sad really. Just running a quadrant test on it now...want to know the answer?

The first 2 things I ever built. Sadly, I somehow ended up losing this world. There's a hidden tunnel connecting the cabin to the main building. The door to the tunnel is hidden behind a book case. It opens using a hidden button connected to sticky pistons which pull the book case back. My stupid self didn't write out the schematics of all the connections and how everything worked, so now I gotta go back and figure it all out again...oops, lol.

Wow, you have a lot of free time I'll have to check out the full size pics
Nah, it didn't cost that much time though. Just went on that server to socialize here and there, you'll attain some resources over time and then you try to build with it. As you see, everything is built with very cheap materials like sand and wood.
You just need a plan on what you want to build, and if you have the idea and don't need to remove or rebuild parts, a giant building will be finished in 2 hours.

Google now is pretty straight foward and its actually my first time using it and I'm already liking it. What can I expect as time goes on from it?
You can expect it to start learning from you. For example, after a while it can give you traffic data to home right before you leave work/school on a consistent schedule
Sent from my Nexus S using xda app-developers app
Yep and if you check in at your fav burger joint or strip club :cyclops:, GN can tell you the traffic, if any to get to that destination. Also you can also get your fav sports team scores, local stuff happening in your area, even notifying you when a package was sent. I love the integration of google keep as well. Awesomsauce all around IMO.
You can expect to get traffic and weather notifications for every single place you Google, sometimes weeks later. But nothing for important meetings on your calendar unto 45 too late.

I have keep as well. How does it integrate itself with keep?
I think Google Now is the only thing keeping me on Android. It's just become TOO useful when I was doing things like checking Maps on my desktop and finding that a card would be added to my Now list, giving directions and ETA if I were to leave right away.
I'm definitely enjoying the way it's implemented, and it's become a tool I can't imagine using a smartphone without anymore.
I have a card for the Yankees, but it hasn't appeared yet. There is a game on right now and I can search it but it doesn't show the card yet. When should I expect it to pop up

There are several other automaton apps out there but Tasker is regarded as the most robust. You can even create standalone apps from within Tasker to sell on the play store if you were so motivated.

I personally think Google Now is awesome. I find it awesome how it pulls up the game scores of my favorite basketball teams and articles it knows I am interested in.
Of course, everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

Thats okay. I was mad at first but...they're making Apple forcefully be a step behind and users will see that. Give them 4.1 features while we blow their asses out into 5.0 Andoid OS features. We'll always be one step ahead of them now. :good:

Give me another app/feature that only Android has over say... a jailbroken iOS device that can't/isn't being replicated.

NFC
widgets
a non-2007 UI
the ability to share to any app from any app
the fact that android doesn't get laggy as hell when you root it like iOS does when you jailbreak it,
the fact that 99% of the things you need to jailbreak an iPhone for you can do on stock android
a screen bigger than 4 inches
custom ROMs/kernels
Open source
No kool aid

Your name looks insanely familiar. Did you do any dev work on the GNote i717 or HTC Inspire 4G (Desire HD)?
Also, you serious about getting it just to unlock the bootloader?! That would be nice
He got the phone not to tinker with it?

Yeah. He probably got it so he can stop developing and resume normal life. Developing and flashing are like drugs, you're always looking for that next fix.

What's not to love about it. Bought the phone on Friday and I just can't get over how great this phone REALLY is. Display, speed and battery are superior to any phone I have seen or used. Did I say the display was great.... I hope we do get developers for this phone, because it would be a shame not to really see what this phone can do. I when in to ATT to purchase the HTC One, looked at the high end smart phones and walked out with the G Pro. I guess you can tell, I am quite happy with my purchase.
I love the display, size, performance and everything else hah

I released Cognition HD for the Inspire and have leaked a few updates for the i717
I got it because it has a locked bootloader, not to unlock the bootloader, lol
Love everything about it. Coming off an HTC one x and a few years of iphone use..
-super fast
-i love the customizations LG's skin has to offer
-fast charging battery ( wasnt expecting this)
-the IR remote works on everything i have and them some ( do i walk around work/mall shutting off TV's? possibly)
-widgets, launchers, games..No lag here.( i previously thought the lag on the htc one was tolerable. HA)
-cant get enough of the 5.5 inch phone. i dont grab my phones like i am grabbing a pole, or a beer, so the device is very easy to use.
-fantastic screen
-my HD movies play on it with no lag!!!!
signed up here specifically because i purchased the phone.
looks like a root it possible too!
anyone try the beats app on it? thats one thing i miss from my htc onex. the beats made a difference
Love:
Display is the best yet i have owned. Love running it at 100% lol
Speed. No lag its so quick. S4 lagged to hell.
LG launcher / Skin is very nice and so fast.
Bootloader locked. No messing with roms.
What I dislike:
Not much. Maybe the video 1080p quality. But recent updates have improved it.

He probably has one of the F240 variants for Asia and the Pacific that have been out longer than our AT&T E980's.
I also love the earphones they gave with the phone. The earplugs are comfy, it has volume controls and the connector is right angled.

Yes I have the Korean version (F240) and had about 5 updates so far. One did list camera improvements, wifi improvements etc.

lol on the "shutting off mall TV's"...i've done that too, my husbnd was like, "omg ur gonna get in trouble" i'm like, "what are they going to do? Arrest me? I bet they alter that feature in some way or make TV's have a security feature that has to "allow for IR blaster control" to turn on cuz just think of all the damage my LG OG Pro could do at a convention center, health club, sports bar... you name it... (by the way, i'm typing this from jail) lol jk ...
The customizations are insane....I've changed icons to be background pictures so you can't even see them.. Look at the two trees....
