Hi guys,
As I am flashing many ROMs that doesn't have this incorporated and for me is shocking to see white colors in gapps, I decided to create a zip with the gapps that I use.
I've just took the work from ravp624 at rootzwiki as he is not giving one zip any more.
I think there is no need for screenshots but suggestions are always welcomed.
The file was tested in Slim ICS 3.2 (with normal 240 dpi which is the best for me, you can try with other dpi and let me know).
Compatibility
- AOSP Base
- AOKP Base
- CM9 (incompatibilities in Contacts and maybe Gtalk)
Workaround for CM9 Contacts
CM9 Contacts Workaround
Apps Included:

2. If you want to remove any application just remove the .apk file inside the zip. The .apk can be either on system or data folders.
3. Copy the contents to your internal SD card
4. Go to CMW
5. Clear Davilk Cache
6. Install the zip file
7. Clear Cache
8. Reboot
9. Enjoy!
Thanks to ravp624 for uploading the apps in first place!

You will need to mod Contacts.apk because it'll disable the dialer..
ravp624 said it himself that it won't function on non-nexus phones, because hdpi files weren't included, or sth..
Thanks Damianmb,
It works fine on Dark Night 4!

Hi, dialer is working perfect here. Do you experience any problems?

After installing it, I can't access the dialer, it prints "App is not installed".
I'm on arco68's CM9 port for i9001.
Seems it can't draw the ui, maybe because of those missing hdpi files ravp624 mentioned?

I may look the issue tomorrow. But I tested it in Slim ICS that supports mhdpi maybe because of that? What's your DPI? I use 240 only.
240 here as well.. What could be causing the problem? Other apps are fine, only contacts.apk has the said problem.. You've tested them with cm9?
so good...
I did not try music, vending, reader, voice dialer or contacts but the other apps (other thanks talk) work great. What is Google thinking putting white apps over the sleek darkness off ICS?
Only app I tried to get working but couldn't is gtalk. It copies just fine but does not show in app drawer.
I am running i9000 cm9 nightly 12-Apr.

I'm not having time to investigate the issue but for sure something is missing... can you read the rootzwiki and search the cause there?
Try to flash the latest gapps and then inverted one. I remember I read something about it.
Gapps
Let me know if it works for you and then I will add the instructions to the OP .

What do you mean by phone black? Dialer? Contacts?
I said BACK, not BLACK
The dialer (phone.apk) is lost, since i flashed this.
I can make a call from my contact list, but when I choose phone it says: not installed
And it does not appear in app drawer and under settings-apps.
But it is in system/app.
I've been searching for almost two days for an inverted Google Talk app that will actually work on the GS3. I've tried the ones posted by Rootzwiki, and some CWM flashables posted in these forums for various ROMs, but nothing has worked yet. I've ended up with non-inverted apps or immediate forced closes.
I just stumbled across some random rom on Youtube, of all places, for the Galaxy Nexus that claimed to have all inverted apps. It had a download link for the apps only, so I figured, what the hell? I'll give it a shot. I just pulled the Talk.apk out of the flashable zip and put it in system/app the old fashioned way, and now I have a working, inverted talk app! I've gotta give thanks to the guy who made the rom I pulled the app from. You can see his work here:
http://droidmodderx.com/galaxynexus/rom-eclipse-v1-0-aosp-4-0-4-4512
This is working for me on AOKP from Task and Ktoonsez, so I don't know if it'll work on a stock based rom. Be sure to back everything up and go through the usual precautions before trying this out. The app is attached below.
I added a couple of screenshots. Sorry if they're not the greatest quality, or the censor bars are too obtrusive. I'm on my work laptop and the only thing I have to edit images is Powerpoint

the rootz wiki one worked fine for me.
I'm enjoying my rooted Sprint GS3. Flashing has become so addictive that I find myself checking the several XDA threads hoping there is an update!!
Since I've flashed ParanoidAndroid, I have lost a couple features that I enjoyed...and wondered if others have experienced these, and if there are ways to fix them.
- Gallery no longer syncs with Picasa. It only shows my camera pics and screenshots.
- The permanent search bar now only shows a search magnifying glass. It use to say Google.
- In the launcher, the shortcut to the play store appears to be the old style (bag with an android head on it, instead of the play button)
Thanks for whatever!
GO JELLYBEAN!!
i don't think so i think its the rom...
Not sure why u got the old style market would love to know what gapps ur using. That being said I'm sure a third party app is out there for syncing picassa. Can't help u as I have never used my camera and gallery. And picassa sync only worked in the tw gallery. As for the search bar and market my attachment should do. Just flash in recovery. http://db.tt/MgwriNtp
Thanks for the tips.

You should look at the change logs for the ROM you're running. I'm running StrongSteve's Odexed Blue 4.7 (which, by the way, is awesome - gotta like blue though...) and have the old-school market icon (labeled Market too) as well, but you can see in his change logs from a previous version that was something he intentionally did. Everything you described, except the Picasa sync issue, could just be the way the dev themed their ROM.
I don't know what to tell you regarding your sync problem...

As far as I know Picasa sync is broken in CM right now and PA is based of CM.
I saw all sorts of pretty icons when I loaded the Bleu Mynt Rom and the newest gapps. However they disappeared and went back to regular icons at some point. I speculate that its because I didn't register my market helper and Google Play was "seeing" my Evo still. So... I finally I once again started over with a fresh ROM and this time I registered my market helper so that my phone is seen as a Galaxy S3. So far the pretty Icons are still here. Can anyone verify this theory for me? If it isn't the problem then maybe someone can shed some light. Please and Thank you.
Screenshot? Not sure what you mean.
So I've installed a bunch of ROMs on my phones since I've been using Android. I've noticed that many ROMs include some kind of theme support. I happen to be on Xenon right now, for example, and there are options for themes in the settings. I've seen this in a lot of ROMs though.
I'm completely new to the idea of themes for my phone, and I was wondering if there was a place (or an app) where I could download themes for my phone to be used in this way (I looked at the mycolorscreen website, which is awesome, but doesn't appear to be for the same thing as the themes in these ROMs?)
Also, I was wondering what themes you guys used and liked.

Use this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=29455970
That thread is a mega collection of themes for AOSP ROMs with the theme chooser engine. Although all of the themes (Literally over 1000!) are great, nothing beats stock android.
Suggestion, though. Search up a theme called Gem Flat by xIC-MACIx. One of the best themes I've ever seen for Android
