[Q] Questions about Note 2 on Seoul - Galaxy Note II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

First of all, hello? I'm planning to go to Seoul next month for the CIGIF 2012 event and I'm planning to buy Galaxy Note 2 there. But I got some question regarding buying from there.
1. The most important question, how much is the price compared with the current price in USA? I mean the international version selling in USA.
2. Second question, regarding about the compatibility. I heard that Korean version doesn't support GSM as they only support CDMA. If yes, how to unlock the phone so that it can use GSM-based SIM instead of CDMA? Because I'm living in Malaysia and CDMA hasn't yet popular.
Thanks for spending time reading my questions and all for the answers. Sorry for nooby questions. More question to come.

[Q] Galaxy Nexus from the play store able to be used outside the US?

Hello guys, I am currently located in the Caribbean (Dominican Republic) and will be traveling next month to the US. I plan to order a Galaxy Nexus while I am there and take it back with me to the Dominican Republic. I would like to know if this phone will be able to be used outside the US without an issue (My provider uses the same GSM band as ATT USA)?
Oscar
Yes, it will work for you. You can use it on any GSM carrier in the world.

Thanks for the fast reply! It's a relief to know :victory:
Bring some of those Dominican women back to the states also :good:
Its (in all practicality) the exact same as all other i9250 unlocked GNexes.
A Galaxy Nexus in Venezuela.
Hi you all, I hope someone reads this or something. I'm new around here. Even though I don't think so, I hope not to be breaking any rule by posting in this particular thread.
I'm about to buy a Nexus and have it shipped to Venezuela, let's see how that goes.

Oscar, I travel every year to the DR and this year it would be for christmas.
This time I want to be able to use a SIM Card and have data over there.
I have looked for them on the web, but with no success, so I found this and I was wondering if you could provide me with the bands of the carriers operating in the country: Orange, Viva and Claro.
And some additional information about the quality in the service of each one of them.
You can PM me if you want to.
Well, hopefully you'll reply jajajajaja :fingers-crossed:
Bye everyone.

Tmobile version or international?

Tmobile version vs internaltional version?
Guys,
Im planning to buy galaxy note 2 no commitment handset but im confused which one to go for. They are same priced. Since i came to US in fall 2011 i have never used a US locked phone. Im currently using htc hd2 (the legend).
My question is if i buy att phone and then unlock it will flashing new roms etc still be a problem compared to international version. Do they provide only a code to unlock the phone or a complete new rom to flash which removes att bootloader and drivers and makes it like an international version. The only difference i guess is about warranty and lte radio between the two variants. I do not care about lte radio since im mostly connected to wifi but i care a little aboutthe warranty.
Some questions might be stupid since im new to this us version phones so im sorry about it.
Thanx in advance for replying

[Q] Really quick question about i9250T

Hey guys, im not from the nexus forums i'm from the Note N7000.
I am getting my note sold and I have the opportunity to buy the i9250T. I just wanted to know what are the differences. I read that the 9250T is from australia and that is all the information I can get about it. Is it basically the same phone? Or would I need to follow different rooting and flashing guidelines? Or can I buy it can come straight back here and begin reading/flashing.

[Q] Galaxy note 3 Unlocked (N900, N9000 or LTE N9005) Which to purchase

Greetings all,
I am thinking of upgrading and replacing my GS3 with an unlocked Galaxy Note 3 from a third party dealer. I am in Southern California and a T-Mobile customer. Apparently there are several versions, the N900, N9000 and the LTE N9005. I am not sure which one I should purchase. My intention in getting an unlocked phone is so that in the future I can switch carriers easily if I choose. This is not something I expect to do any time soon, but it would be nice to have the option. Obviously, I also want the best performance. Any info would be appreciated.
Thank You,

Need some help with S9 model numbers

Hi all. I'm looking to ditch my iPhone for an S9 (woohoo! right?).
When I bought my last Galaxy I remember having to choose between different model numbers. If I remember correctly the international variant was the one to go with since it had a better processor, etc. I'm looking at BHPHOTO which seems to be the best for deals. From what I can tell I need (and what my cheap$#% is hoping because it's the cheapest) is the SM-G960UZKAXAA. For the record I'm on Verizon. I go prepaid and buy phones retail - so much cheaper - a discussion for another time maybe.
Please shoot me your thoughts on the model number that would be best for me. Cheers!
G960F is the international bootloader unlocked Exynos version, Snapdragon US models are BL locked (No custom roms)
