Its a simple source change.
If the ROM creator is "wants" he can change it
BTW: please name your threads accordingly and more descriptive!

Hi all. I am wondering if there is a Stock based ROM and kernel that will allow me to overclock and get working wifi? The combo I'm running now is jmzoneV with the cm9boot...can't overclock but WiFi work. Thanks for your time and hard work!

Maybe you can use Sick Kernel, dude
I tried it. I tried all and only the cm9 boot let the WiFi work. Haven't tried the sicksense ROM with different kernels though. I really like the jellybean ROM, really fast. The cameras ate just ok and no camcorder; why I'm trying this. I appreciate it.

so i suggested him to use sick kernel, cos it's compatible with both primo c & primo u.

CM7 based on stock ROM is great..
fast and less battery consume..
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2164025
stock or CM7 based are the lightest ROMs around.
no ICS/JB ROM comes close.
I'm using MaclawStudio's AOSP ICS for some time now, and I must say that's the best rom I've ever used for the Galaxy Gio ;d
It's smooth, the battery life is good and because it's ICS it also looks awesome!
I'll try M'rage Rom v2.1 is beautiful hahaha, tks ppl :victory:
I would prefer Erik's cm10.1 rom. Using it in daily use over a year. You can install link2sd or a int2ext4+ script to gain more storage for apps if you need it.

i told u not to download that version 2.0 of jelly king.. try the preceding versions...
Btw u won't get great battery in most cm10 roms.. they are battery consuming..
Don't overclock high, set battery low, use mobile data only when required and the battery will be good..

Hi Guys,
Please suggest a custom stable ROM for best battery life. I have Samsung Wonder which i think is not very old and has very good battery. I recently rooted it and installed CyanogenMod 10.1, this ROM is great and on full charge it gives around 12-13 hours of battery life with Wifi On.
I normally turn On wifi and email exchange application, so please let me know if we have more option to increase battery life.
Thanks all
I suggest you One of a Kind.

This device doesn´t support auto brightness. Neither in the stock ROM, nor in custom ROMs. There is simply no light sensor to support autobrightness. This device only offers a proximity sensor which also works in CM9 and this is telling me you have no clue what you are talking about.

So just because you faced some flickering while browsing you are claiming this ROM is not stable?
I assure you it´s way more stable than a stock ROM can be and this flickering means nothing. Probably the most unstable part is located in front of the LCD and pressed some buttons while browsing.
This is a screenshoot of my CM9 and it can last up to 7 days with one charge:
i am sorry honeyx that I posted my short experience of using this ROM
