Hello xda members, trolls and devs. As you may or may not know I am a developer of my roms and stuff for the wildfire s. My internet has been down recently so I have been making ideas for new stuff through the long days of boredom.
Heres a list of stuff I'm working on that is wfs related
- Sense 4
- A new ROM called DRAGONROM
- AOKP
- Work on fixing minor bugs in .sense
Here's the list of stuff I will/will probably do:
- Make another AOSP based ROM
- Create a kernel family called soulengine S/I/G
- Build a CM 9 nightly
- Fix Danny's problem
Here's the list of what I'm considering to do:
None atm
Here's a list of things that I don't want to do:
- Port touchwiz
I will only do the above once my ISP fixes up my internet and when have enough free time. Oh and feel free to ask me to do something, and I will add it to the list.

Please make an oc kernel that works for my phone. Remember, I get them to boot, but the touchscreen is dead and I can't unlock.......

Because its the worst ui anyone has touched.

Get them CM9 Nightlyes rolling.Been compiling for 2 hours now to try the deep sleep fix.

I've tried with Simon but it refuses to boot. Possibly a kernel 3.0 problem.

I will stop modding/theming/making ROMS for a while. ICS is hating me
Got some problems with apktool etc.
Two things I tried myself but couldn't do (due to above reason and cant make CM9 nightlies).
Sense 4 Multitask
WP7 Multitask
Would like to see them on CM9 and MIUI
But you can always ask me for something on the WFSDev site
I will keep it up to date, ...

PLEASE! make the sense 3 3d stuff in a rom, with the marquee transition, the lockscreen spin and the cool animated locks like facebook and the weather!!OMG you would be so cool if you did that. +100,000,000,000..... dev points if you do it!

Stopped and added a few projects. See op. Please note that I always have about 10 projects being worked on at once at any time, this means if something doesn't work and I get annoyed with it I am likely to stop that project until I can be bothered starting it again.

I am starting a poll.
So, user shaky156 said that he would try to port sense 4 on our devices, if we get enough votes.
He has already ported for desire/incredible/nexus, so I believe he's a smart guy.
Declare yourself, vote, and who knows, maybe we're lucky enough to have sense 4 in the end.

it's only 33, I didn't know Wildfire/Wildfire S doesn't have alot of users, so IF wildfire & Wildfire S atleast get a total of 100 combined, then I'll attempt it

A serious question, why don't you just join our git and work on what's working so far instead of wasting time porting from scratch?

We actually don't have anything to do with wildfire, that phone is a bit different then ours.
It has less RAM memory, and screen resolution is different..

Thank you for letting me know, i already know that they are seperate devices and the differences between both the devices, i own a wildfire but have never bothered to dev on it in past
If enough votes and i attempt and get it done for wildfire, i will then do for wildfire s

I think the chances of you even booting it are slim, but I see no reason why I can't click it.

As sly said, no.
Why? Because the Wildfire S is similar to the Wildfire only in name and form factor.
The internals are completely different.

If i install it would my cpu be overlocked to 600mhz. And i will have 2.3 android,and 3.5 htc sense.
And phones have same display resolution,only wildfire has trackball.

:lmao: i think you need to reread the product descriptions.
The wildfire s is an upgrade to the wildfire, the original wildfire is ldpi and the wildfire s is mdpi so no they have totally different screen resolutions.
As they said above the internals are completely different and it will never work without a lot of tweaking........

he seems to not understanding this, guy you cant install roms from other phones. you can overclock wildfire to 761 with certain kernels. so read the wildfire index and try transilating.

not be as they are totally different internally, but could cook rom but it would take some work and effort to wildfire specifications

Anything can be ported to anything really. It's whether it works or not.. I'd say that saying the WFS runs HTC Sense anyway, it's likely it can be ported, it just depends if you can find a developer willing to port it for you. Or if you're really lucky, it may have been ported already.. I for one would be interested to have it too..

No way of getting Ubuntu port, I think we were Lucky enough to get Cyanogenmod9 let alone 10/.2

Past Devs already confirmed it would be useless even trying for XYZ reasons. I don't see what benefits we could get from it.
Now what I would like to see for Wildfire is a working sense3 port.
But tbh I'm just happy to see people are still using the Phone and people such as you are still Deving & theming

I'll try look into sense 3, i know people been waiting a while for the sense 3.5
So i'll try to make one, also we may need a new kernal for the sense 3.5, because the current is in ok condition, but not stabler enough :/
Going to see if i can fix all the issues myself :good:

It won't work good, because almost all the apks in the ROM are not ldpi and not compatible with the device, although i'm looking into this further more in development.
I'll try to compile sources from different devices with sense 3.5 which have some ldpi compatible features
