[Q]Battery problem

hi guys,
I have this problems with my desire, like the phone green LED lights up but the batt stats shows thats its below 100% instead of fully charged.Sometime the battery have eg. 86% of batt left after quite and amount of usage(video) but when the charger was plug in, the green LED lights up straight away and the displayed batt life changes into fully charged.
Tried various calibrating method but the problem still persist.This only happens after i root and flashed a custom rom.

Well if it happened after flashing custom rom, try flashing to another rom and recalibrate again. Try this if you already haven't forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=755903 .

your phone has to be fully charged (switched off untill red light turns green)
then switch back on, but un-plug it from the charger before you flash a rom

Tried the above method.doesnt really work for my case

[Q] Unrooted Desire Bootloop + Touch panel-fail, help!

Hey,
I have an Unrevoked unrooted HTC Desire with custom rom MIUI XJ A2SD.
Earlier today the phone started randomly rebooting, and the touch
screen would not work for a couple of minutes before working
normally again. Finally it shut down and upon start up it now shows
the HTC logo then goes black, then HTC logo, then black screen and keeps doing that.
I can´t get into recovery so i can´t perform a nandroid backup.
Fastboot works.
When starting the phone pressing volume down it says:
BRAVO PVT4 SHIP S-ON
HBOOT-0.93.0001
TOUCH PANEL-fail
RADIO-5.11.05.27
What should i do?

Screens ****ed. Not much you can do really other than send it in for repair.

Just had the same problem so when i entered recovery i just slam d the phone repeatedly at the desk when loading Recovery and now it works have no idea why tho... but am ahappy!

Sometimes this is best fix...
Sorry for refreshing old topic and my bad english, but i have solution for this problem.
In this model (and other htc like hd mni) touch panel fail not mean definitely hardware crash of touch screen. Sometime after some hit or other crashes touch screen can disconnect little bit from mainboad then phone can't start properly and display touch panel fail error on fastboot. Many times with error appears charging problem and booting problem.
For my working solution is:
1. Disconnect touch screen from mainbord and connect it again
2. Charge battery for minimum 50% on phone when is turned off and orange led working or if not working on external charger or other phone.
3. Put battery, start hboot
4. Reflash by orginal htc Ruu and get beterry out
5. Charging batery to full on turned off phone
6. When green led inform about full battery problem should dissapeard.
Of course your problem can by on broken touch screen but worth try

[Q] Orange led that never turns off :(

i donno wht actually happend...but i guess its because moisture or somthin...short circut or somthin...the notification led above my scree nnever turns off...orange or yello colour...even when the phone is in recovery!!! anyone know what to do please help it drains my battery very badly....

it is because clockworkmod has this bug. when charging, the phone shouldn't be off.

but its on even when its nt charging!!...how do u change it?

Try to downlod "Led me know" app or some that control led notifiction or try to factory x that or try to factory reset your phone to fix that.

even i thot abt it..but then...the led is on even in recovery...even before the splash screen appears...wud it help?

I am assuming you have not used AlphaRev X. If that's the case, try a factory reset. (Or, if you have used AlphaRev X, then try Clear Storage from HBoot Menu) If it still doesn't solve it, its probably a hardware issue.

im on hboot .80 cant change to 1.00 i tried.factory reset...dint wokr thnks 4 ur efforts

[Q] Htc Wildfire Charge Led

Hi,
ive recentley s-offed, got clockwork recovery mod, root, and flashed cyanogenmod 7.1.0.1. Alls been running great but ive got one question. I have done a search an the answers have been a bit flakey. When i power my phone off i then plug in to charge. The red led comes on like it should. I unplugg the charger the led stays on. The phone doesnt power on until battery is removed and charger cable. Im not sure but according to the other posts i searched its something to do with the recovery so heres my clockwork mod version : Revolutionary CWM V4.0.1.4

Yes it is CWM which contains this bug. Update to 5.0.2.0. The LED colour will still remain bugged (It will remain amber. Won't turn green when the phone is fully charged) but the phone will turn on normally.

so i just flash it like a normal zip file, install zip from sd card, choose zip and done?

Reboots when charging ? WHY!

Hello all,
My mobile reboots when I try charging it via wall or usb.
I plug the phone into the charger and after about 1min or so it constantly reboots until I remove the charger it's fine.
Any idea's?

That's odd.
If you return it to stock, is it the same?

How much time does the orange led take to glow after connecting your charger ? I mean if its slower than normal, you should try turning fast boot off. It may help

I changed the rom and kernel and It still repeatedly reboots.
It seems to happen when the mobile gets really hot for some reason from when it is charging.
Even turned Fastboot on and off and still does it ... really bugging the hell out of me. Even the battery seems to drain once fully charged. thats with everything off wifi, 3g and etc ...

The thing is it was working perfectly fine, and I tried different roms and Kernels but my current details are :
HBOOT - 1.12.0000
CPLD - NONE
EMMC BOOTMODE - DISABLED
CPU - BOOTMODE - DISABLED
HW SECURE BOOT - ENABLED
MODEM PATH - OFF
ENDEAVORU PVT SHIP
I now am using the Cyangonmod nightly
still does it :S

try going back to everything stock - stock kernel, rom
if it still gets too hot while charging, try a different charger
it could be a problem with battery too
