Who do I need to contact to reset the password on an account I can't remember the email address for?
I tried to reset my password but can't remember the email address associated with it.

UPDATE: Solution found
I was able to get the administrator of the "Good" application at my company to push out a policy for android users to force a longer password. This forced a new password when I opened the application and corrected the problem.
Maybe this will help someone in the future.
I installed an app (Good for Enterprise) to be able to access work email/etc. During setup it required me to set a device password. I set it, through the Good application, but only set it to a 2 character password. I have since uninstalled the application and now I can not change my password. When I attempt to change it I am alerted that password must be 4 characters. Thankfully the device still locks and unlocks with the 2 character password but I was hoping to change it.
Can I mod a file directly to change password or full in thinking it is not set?
Any help would be appreciated.

Dear all, I have a htc wildfire s. yesterday my younger brother try to unlock my phone without knowing the unlocking pattern. He tried so many times that my phone was completely locked. now i have to enter my Google account username and password to access my phone. but no matter what format i entered, it just kept saying incorrent username or password. I have very important information stored in my phone and I don't want to lose it. Is there any way to unlock the phone?

It happened with me once but the device unlocked when I entered my google username and password(and amazingly without any data connection)..
I think it matches the username and password stored in the device(used 2 connect 2 android market,2 sync data etc) to verify(may be thats why it didn't need any data connection..
try this :
-->If u use any different password along with your google account username to connect to 'htc hub' and/or 'htc likes' try those(i don't remember which i used)..
-->try entering null as password. (together with your google username)
-->try entering your username without @gmail.com
-->use both of above two steps together
-->try changing ur google account password via computer and try again..
-->go to htcsense.com and click forget password under sign in and reset ur password following the link sent to ur gmail and then try again
-->Call yourself from another phone, answer, without hanging up press the home button, then menu button, settings, try to disable pattern-lock or change pattern
-->Call yourself from another phone, answer, hang-up, directly after hanging up start pressing your buttons like a madman for <30-60 seconds ending with your home button (might take a while to get the timing right). Go into settings and disable pattern-lock.
-->try first 4 steps without the sim..
other than these saving ur data on devices internal memory will be difficult..factory reset phone or contact service centre(who will also probably factory reset ur phone)..well !! Best of Luck..:fingers-crossed:
If you created device specific password for your phone through "google 2-step verification", you have to enter that password instead of your actual google password...
just restart ur phone nd try ur pattern again.. thats it....

Well he has already reached the point where his device is asking for google username and password to unlock..pattern lock screen is not showing..so he cannot enter his pattern and thats why he needs help..so restarting will not help..
oh.. then he just have to enter its google username nd Password thats it..

and thats where the problem starts..device doesn't recognises username and/or password(as it is with htc devices)..
That happened to me once, I saw it as a opportunity to flash a new rom

I have an annoying bug when using VPN it requests a password, thing is it never accepts my password and i have to reset it and type the password again (when i turn off my phone) it request the password again but doesn't accept it.
Does anybody know if it is a software bug?

When I try to install a trusted SSL certificate (CRT file) Firestick says that it needs username password verification to allow such action and displays a login screen that doesn't work. It doesn't actually allow you to login with any username and password. There is simply no response when you select LOGIN, regardless of username and password combination.
Any ideas how to remedy that? Is there any way to sideload an SSL certificate?
