Need help with Paranoid Android - HTC One V

Hi all,
I apologize for posting a new thread...I do not have rights to post in development thread right now.
First of all , all of you guys are awesome and doing a really great job.
My query:
I have a htc one v with Paranoid Android 2.23 installed with Titanium Kiss Kernel-201210082232.
I was previously using PA-2.18, the bass in any player (Apollo, Noozy, Nplayer) was fine. After upgrading to 2.23 the bass is 0. I have gone through 1Ceb0x instructions and had done factory reset + wipe dalvik cache before installing 2.23. Installed relevant gapps-20121011 after boot.
I have tried multiple ways, wiped again - reinstalled the rom- installed another rom then reinstalled PA but its still the same.
Any help would be great as I really want to use PA as its really an awesome rom.
Regards,
V

Themes,Skins, Tweaks for Newts 3.5 Blissssss

Hey everyone,
Thought I would start a thread so dev's and themer's could post up their work for this ROM. I'm currently running the Revolution Theme by He_stheone which I love, and got off of Newt's Dev thread, but haven't found anything in this section for this ROM. Soooo, for all of you who do have some good themes, skins, or tweaks you'd like to share, let's get this one up and running!

Updates OP with links for the Rev Theme, sorry bout that, should done that originally, long day of installing, wiping, installing, wiping, different ROMS to see which one I liked best and this one really is the best for me, maybe not everyone, but I'm lovin' it! Especially now that it's almost 100% operational
FYI, the original Rev link that was in Newt's Bliss thread doesn't work on the Bliss 1.0.0 rom he posted on his site, he changed the base so I think the framework changed... I kept getting launcher FCs, but if it works for someone else, then rock on.
I'm rockin on cause it is working fine on my phone, I do a complete wipe on everything tho which I know most people don't, I format system/data, wipe cache partition, format system, wipe Dalvik cache 3x's, and format system/data again before installing any ROM, and installed the theme right after installing the new Blissss he posted on MikMik before I let it launch, maybe the force closes are coming from the ROM launching, loading all the system mounting, and Sense theme settling in. So I always install the theme in recovery before I reboot and let the ROM start.

[Q] Problem with MIUI 1.12.30

Every time I receive a call while my phone is running MIUI version 1.12.30 the phone app force closes and I can't receive the call. Is this a common problem?
I was a big fan of MIUI on my Droid 1 but I can't seem to get it working on my Inc2. I tried reinstalling the the ROM a few times but the problem persists regardless of what I do. I always run all three check boxes on the Rom Manager app every time I flash: Backup Current ROM, Wipe Data, and Wipe Dalvik Cache.
I'd flash the current ICS MIUI build but not having a phone where everything works just bugs me.
If this is a problem with the ROM and not user error, could someone please suggest another ROM that I could try out? I'm not a big Sense fan and Cyanogen is pretty nice, but I like MIUI better.
Any help on this problem is greatly appreciated.

ParanoidAndroid Port/Darkside Venom4

Since I can't post in thread because of requirements ill post here. Tried DSV04 #1&2 for ParanoidAndroid Hercules port, stays stuck @ Paranoid. Did wipe for both and waited over 10min. Just in case anyone was wondering if it worked since its CM9 based and yes I know it was only tested on a nightly which he stated in the OP, just testing in case others wanted to know. BTW Thanks for the Kernels, and Roms. Your Contributions to the community are always appreciated.

Follow these steps and you can never go wrong
I'm guessing you guys got it to work on your devices?. That is If you guys are posting the most obvious steps. I did all required steps in OP before flashing or posting this thread just posting my findings, Figured it just didn't play well with my hardware and seeing if anyone else got it to play nice with Paranoid since its been a Stable Rom, was looking for a bit more juice that's it..

DSV4 Kernel #3 works with it but borks camera, constant force close issues any suggestions? Running paranoid with the kernel on badass +cpu sleeper+underclocked to 1080 is giving me awesome life. For what I do on my phone at least.

Have you tried running it on the Skyrocket version? I believe the DSV04 was made for a newer version CM9 than what the Starskyrob version of PA. I heard that skyrocket pa + DSV04 + rotation fix = $$$
Nandroid and try it out.
That's been on my mind lately since the skyrockets is more up to date but I like to keep things simple. Ima give it a go though and see how it compares.

[Q] rogers's rom alternative

Hi, what rom do you use for your rogers i747m? I am looking for one and can't decide, must of them look good and seems a good choice (for at&t variant)... I am looking for something stable with good (least as stock) battery life. What make you chose this one.
THANK's for your input
JS
Hyperdrive and wicked are on top of my list, supernexus (can't remember if compatible) is too
I just loaded CyanogenMod 10.1 a few days ago. Can't believe I waited so long.
I was experiencing lag (the ten seconds to dial issue, slow typing, etc) all the time, instability and overall a crappy user experience.
After loading CM 10.1 it was like I'd bought a new phone. It's remarkably fast (I can never remember it being this fast and I've had it for a year), the new android 4.2.2 features are great, and the battery life seems to have improved slightly.
I forgot to backup two apps so I may have to reload the old ROM, but I'll switch it back to CM 10.1 as soon as I have that data in hand.
Highly recommended.
Hmmm It really depends on what you are looking for. I also own a rogers Galaxy S3 btw. Keep in mind battery life differs for every people because they use it differently. Use Greenify on the play store to save some battery life.
The smoothest Rom I ever used was CM10.1. That was the first rom I've ever flashed on this phone and I rarely had problems. For the battery life, it depends on which rom I flash. I usually do get a slightly lesser battery life than usual.
Link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1778270
I also enjoyed Task650's AOKP Roms. It's similar to CM10.1 except there's more features on this rom. I admit I haven't flash this rom for a while so I don't know how smooth it got. Last time I used it was almost smooth as CM10.1. Battery life also depends on which version you flash. Sometimes I get terrible battery life or sometimes I get a similar stock battery life.

I've tried Hyperdrive rom..... and this thing has a LOT of features. I think its almost too much but it can't hurt I guess. You get similar battery life to stock, if you don't add too many features (Only thing I added was AOSP features and a bit of Samsung features). Only painful part about this rom was waiting for the rom to finish download because of it is large file
link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2176793
I'm currently using Dandroid. This rom is basically running a mixture of Touchwiz + Cyanogen. You get a pretty similar stock battery life AND you get an AOSP experience. Since you like the SuperNexus and Hyperdrive roms, I think you'll like this as well.
Link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2121506&highlight=multi+window
I haven't tried SuperNexus yet, but I will get to that when they release a newer build.
Link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2219944
And then there's liquidsmooth, ParanoidAndroid, PacMan, RootBox, etc..... So many to choose from
If you want good battery life, you probably want to use a rom that is based on Touchwiz (Android 4.1.2).
In my experience, roms based on CM10.1 or AOSP/AOKP tend to be smoother than touchwiz based roms, but Touchwiz based roms have better battery life. Not sure about other people. I would love to hear their experiences!

Sorry for wrong section. thought was more an opinion wanted than i need an answer.
I know that battery life will differ from one user to the next, since not the same usage, but if someone see an improvement on that manner than i should see an improvement.
Thanks for the imput, and keep bring them in

No worries. When you select "yes this is a question" it puts a [Q] in the title and all Qs get moved to Q&A.

gapps there, but do i need to installed them (gapps-jb-20130301-signed.zip) or included in the dandroid rom. Running stock de-bloated (app freezed atm), do i need to reinstalle stock and than flash dandroid or cmw recovery flash dandroid (after clear cache/dalvik and all)
Download gapps from the ROM you downloaded. You can try flashing gapps but if doesn't work, you have to reflash your ROM. Factory reset, wipe cache /dalvik, flash ROM, flash gapps.
You don't need to go back to stock. Just clean flash

There you go
OP, if you are installing a TW ROM you don't need to install any gapps. The gapps are included in the ROM.
For AOSP, AOKP, etc type ROMs you need to flash a separate gapps package that is usually linked in the ROM thread.
You can download http://goo.im/gapps/gapps-jb-20121011-signed.zip which is for 4.1.2 or you can just ask which gapps can I use in the OP.
Information from the developer
All apps updated to 4.1.2 versions.
Google Play Store updated to 3.9.16.
Should be backwards-compatible with 4.1.1.
Does NOT contain the leaked Gmail with pinch-to-zoom. GApps do not include leaked/test versions of Play Store applications, especially when the signing key differs from the Play Store version(s).

AOKP ROM

Hi I am not a developer but I have been using this ROM on my flo for some time. It is now based on 7.1.2. It runs very well. If you want to give it a try the download page is here. http://xfer.aokp.co/?developer=AOKP&folder=flo
Feel free to ask me any questions about the ROM. As always you must do a wipe of caches, system and data.
Not sure why this has been posted here...
