[BOOTANIMATION] Pokemon vs. Gangnam Style - Samsung Galaxy Nexus

I saw this video and I had to edit it and make it into my bootanimation. 3 hours of editing and trying to make a bootanimation.zip later, I failed.

I've personally tested all the files out on my Galaxy Nexus. I halved the resolution for the 1280x720 in Horizontal mode but made it stretch full screen otherwise it would run at what seemed like 3 frames per second.
Just for the OP I fixed his file so he can see what he did wrong in the future for reference but I don't think he meant to make it this way as it looks terrible and resolution is too high so it is VERY SLOW.

If anyone has a boot animation with sound that works send me a link by pm or here as I am not having luck getting it to work on AOKP JB Build 5.

I know this isn't baked into the .zip, but this could possibly be a solution. I found this on another forum and haven't personally tested it.

Share your per-app navbar colors

As the tittle says in this thread you can share all of your custom set per-app navbar colors with the latest update of paranoid android
SHARE AWAY!!
This is a great idea. This way everyone can share the hex codes for transparency and all the different colors they find. A lot of them are being posted in the thread but then get lost with the fast pace of the thread.

Yup that's the main reason I made this thread
I recently switched to PA coming from AOKP and I gotta say PA has gotten solid since 1.9 and with every update the features are better and better
I think a better idea would be to make a google document where people can put their hex codes under app names. For example, for the XDA app, you can have one row say "XDA" and have people just post their XDA hex colors underneath it. That way, people can just try it all out without having to search all around the thread.
Of course that sounds very nice only theoretically.

Go ahead bro do it!
Great thread! Well I pulled the hex code out of some apps that had a certain color theme and used it to color only my nav buttons so far. My nav bar is always black still and the glow color I've set to black so it almost takes away the glow animation. It's pretty late here so I only did very few but here they are:
Airdroid: F88CA45
BetterBatteryStats: FFFF6060
Timer (dark theme) by Opoloo: FFFF543E
And for most of my inverted gapps and my black themed apps I used the ICS blue: FF33B5E5
I will definitely be coloring more later on, this is fun
Colors posted by Moles has values for most of the apps and i am using the same.
You add them individually or copy them directly to \system\etc\properties.conf file.

And yes you can change the colors after

You change colors as before,it is only to change all the colors at a time instead of editing each app from UI
Hi,
I don't see properties.conf file in \system\etc\
Do I need to create this (text) file manually?

[NOV 17][APP] Custom Nexus Wallpapers + Bootanimation

These are some wallpapers I threw together using the "Nexus" logo. I put them in an app thanks to tommytomatoe and his thread. There are a bunch more to download at my Dropbox which will be updated more often than the attached zips or the app.
SIZE: 1620x1440
DOWNLOADS:
Nexus Wallpapers App v0.2
Dropbox Album
Bootlogos
UPDATES:
11/9/12: I finished the boot animation. It is my first and is pretty simple to go along with these wallpapers... Download. Just rename it to "bootanimation.zip" and copy it to /data/local/ with permissions and reboot. I'm gonna try to get a preview video up soon so you all can see it.
11/12/12: Added stripe wallpapers
11/14/12: Here are some boot logos http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=34136680&postcount=31
11/17/12: New app!!! (alpha v0.1) thanks to tommytomatoe. Download now.
11/17/12 #2: App update: Holo theme (sort of) (API increased to 14), can choose from launcher now (not in app drawer anymore), name change to Nexus Wallpapers
CLICK FOR FULL SIZE or download from my Dropbox

Hey all, I just finished the boot animation. Look in the first post or download HERE.
Rename to "bootanimation.zip" and paste it to /data/local/ with permissions. Reboot.
It's pretty basic, matching the wallpapers. I'll try to get a preview video up soon.

I just tried it out on my gnex and it looks good. A bit dark (the letters are very subtle) and I would've liked the logo to be a bit larger, but I like it. Thanks!
Jorgonv, great work on the walks and the animation! They all look really nice! I was wondering if you had the name of the font you're using for the Nexus lettering. I'll keep looking for it, but I haven't found it yet, and any help would be much appreciated. Keep up the great work.

Sweetness. Love trying out new ROMs. Definitely hate bloatware so I will try this as soon my phone is charged a bit. Thanks!

Not worth it, I'm still adding the tweaks, updating the updater-script, and have to finish building a website by tomorrow (work related). I'll probably pick it up again after the weekend and won't release for a little past that.
Has anyone ran into any issues so far?
Bugs?
Recommendations?
I'll try to build out the rom based on your recommendations. Well, to the best of my ability.
Any chance you can add inverted gapps like Gmail, gtalk, Google+, YouTube, etc?
Thanks either way.

Google...all of that is found on XDA and easily flash able since this is a deodex rom or wait for an eclipse or slim bean or baked ROM.

Honjav,Ardi seems cool and does not seen to care but asking OP for anytime frame is uncouth and fround upon on XDA. And by no means am I complaining I just don't want to see you get in trouble when a moderator finally find his or her way here. The development section of our awesome LGOG is doing very well but the question and answer session is way out of hand and rules are being torn in Broken all over the place so when a moderator does get here that moderator is going to start getting pissed. Lol. So I'm looking out for you I am by no means complaining.

[BOOTANIMATION] Ultra-minimal Windows 8-inspired N7 boot anim

Hey folks,
Though it was about time I contributed something here, but I'm no developer, so here's a boot animation I made for myself.
I installed Windows 8 recently and have learnt to like its sleek, über-minimal design. Functionally it's pretty poor on a desktop, but it sure looks nice.
Here's a demo (for some reason, the editor refuses to embed a YouTube player, so this link will have to do):
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dr6O6AZ5ESU
You can download it here:
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/25509680/c/bootanimation.zip
And here's a landscape version, as requested (you'll have to rename this one to just "bootanimation.zip"):
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/25509680/c/LSbootanimation.zip
Installation instructions are as usual;
Place the .zip in /data/local, make sure permissions are set to rw-r--r--, and reboot to see the prettiness.
Hope you all enjoy it.
Really? I been installing boot animations to system/media.
Did I miss something?
Either way nice boot animation. I'm going to use it.
Thanks

You can install to /system/media too, however when you update your ROM it will be overwritten. If it's in /data/local it'll remain even when you update, and will only be overwritten if you wipe /data
And thanks! Glad you like it, it's my first foray into real design. I'll have a landscape version up soon.

Huh... I can't seem to find it either...
EDIT:
It says this at the bottom of the post
Important!
Sorry guys, look's like it will gonna take some more time to fix phone themes - I'm removing them for time being.
I hope I'll be able to make it work.
Please stop use it for your devices safety!
