he mean S5830i, which is galaxy ace too. but different from S5830

The answers is easy : No, it isn't.
Theme Chooser work on CM7, But you can use Metamorph

I think there is a go launcher theme as cyanogenmod on market. I think it might run a bit slow though

Personally i had little touch issues with miracle. Official nightly cm7 is for me the best one, with Adrenaline Engine and without any unnecessary apps + oc kernel is fast like light :3

As i see all nasty bugs were fixed so far ... so i recomand that one

Dude, don't install it because u will damage your device.
It's obviously u don't have a clue what is cyanogen and how to use it. Find out what is, how to install it, what bugs he has and when u are ready flash it. Untill then don't visit Galaxy Ace S5830 Android Development ANYMORE

Dude read first, you don't even know the basics of flashing and you want to flash a CM nightly, you'll kill your phone with that.
Read the guide P4qui7o has given link for and then think about attempting this.
Since its your first time, you'll need a lot to prepare for in case things go wrong, You need to have a nandroid bakup, Odin and a fresh firmware ready with you.
Also make sure you know where the nearest Samsung service center is

im using maclaw's CM10 beta 1(you should kbow the kernel if you know the rom) just wanna install tht launcher n SE music app to my phone

Xperia Z goodies for gingerbread ( mdpi )

Hey guys, I was just googling around for Xperia z launcher and found this awesome thread with all the Xperia z goodies resized to our mdpi resolution...!
I've haven't tested these by myself but probably they should work for our devices too.
What's included :
1) Xperia styled lockscreen.
2) Xperia V styled music player.
3) Xperia styled status bar icons.
4) Xperia NXT update with messaging, browser, etc. apps included.
5) Xperia z icons for the above mentioned apps.
6) Xperia Z matching themes for each wallpaper !
Some other stuffs I don't remember
Correct me if I've missed something.
Testers needed for our ace.
All the credits goes to the creator of these goodies and I own nothing.

Ohk.Still going to try!

It won't work on cm7 as far as my instincts go. Works only on stock/stock based roms. It might not even work on spacecaker's sgs2 rom as it's framework is heavily modded and also its system ui.apk differs from the stock. My advice is to try it on the adrenaline rom or stock on fire or on stocklite rom.

I thought that shouldn't have been a problem. Its not hardware-specific. Its ROM-specific.

Guys, mdpi layout for both the devices is same. And if a couple of apps are missing that shouldn't have anything to do with the functioning. Can anyone please try it out and report ?

Yeah... I think you might be right but wasn't ace unveiled in 2011 too ? Worst case, I'm might soft brick my ace. That's just a piece of cake to me. Anyways, I'm gonna try it out now and will see if it works. If it doesn't, we can ask some of our devs to make them work for us.

We can mod the framework to look like Xperia z but some we can't do on gb, like the walkman for gb( required armv7)

i have a GT-S5830i and i have the SGS3 v 6.0 ROM by sniper killer and i have downloaded s4 muisc apk somewhere from the xda forum but when i delete the original music apk provided in the rom and replace it with the new one and chane its permission to rw--r--r and then reboot the mobile the music player charshes frequently and i cant listen to the music for more than 5 mins is there any soliution to this problem?? plz ppl help me out!
