Does not magically stop battery drain problems... only placebo
@OP if you just recently flashed a ROM, give it a few cycles.

Oh yeah, appeal to authority ftw.
Anyway, let's not start a debate....

@OP Install BetterBatteryStats and check your wakelocks.

Battery drains really fast, done a battery calibration but nothing, phone is only a year old ish and when its on charge it sometimes says full when its lower than 100% see picture below.
I had the same problem with charging.I charged it few times when it was turned off and now it is back to normal to 100% fully charged. About the drain issue try different kernel if you are using a custom rom!

Just switched to MildWild CM-2.8 and its charging fine, recommend a different kernel even with this rom ?
I had a mildwild rom for about a month and battery life was great but if it still drains you can try ManU kernel! I didn't try it but people say it's great!

No, not on oxygen derivatives. Uses different camera drivers so that doesn't work, but think other things won't either. Have to stick with the _thalamus kernels, which I believe are pretty good too. Same .35 base?

It could be that theres a bunch of apps running in the background?
Without a process manager I find my battery doesn't last as long.

You are right! My mistake
i use task killer and let apps close when screen is off, dont use any apps though really just facebook really. Using nighty 258 now battery seems better but have to data Wi-Fi is a killer :/ last about 5 hours with wi-fi on, having mobile data on is just as bad.
One shouldn't use a task killer app with Android. It does more bad than good, in terms of battery life.

Agree with you.
Try doing 'wipe battery status' via recovery.

You shouldn't.
In my opinion it is only necessary if you charged the phone during flashing a new rom or you had it at power supply. So the Phone learns what is full and empty so it can use the full capacity of the battery

I think your opinion matters little next to the Hackborne's
Nexus battery calibrator does one thing, and wiping battery stats does another. Maybe doesn't sounds better.

at this point we don't know what ROM/kernel zakkkkk is using, so droidzone's may not even be compatible.
calibrating does not increase battery life, just might stop if from shutting down suddenly at a higher than normal percentage.

so what rom/kernel combination are you running at the moment, did this occur after flashing something/installing an app?
in the battery usage, is it shown as awake during this time? i would check using something like betterbatterystats to see if anything is accidentally keeping it awake.
if there is still a problem, make a nandroid and do clean install of your ROM or 2.3.3 RUU without installing anything else, see if the problem still persists. may then be hardware.
(can't remember exactly, but i think the dialer issue could have been a gb sense error, which reported it much higher than it actually was actually using. i remember clicking the dialer battery use and seeing the actual cpu usage and runtime was minimal)
im using droidzones supernova rom and have been using it for about 6 months now. my battery life has been excellent. this problem only occurred today. i installed a few apps/games over the weekend but i dont know which one is causing this. i have also tried uninstalling a few but with no affect. are the any apps in the market that show which apps are draining battery?

sounds like you've partially answered your own question...
if you were having excellent battery life, then suddenly went bad after installing something, then this is the likely cause...

Oh, that is priceless!
You are now in charge of answering every single "which ROM/I can't find it/how do I/why am I?" question until the end of the internetz.
Edit: Never mind. I'm going to use that myself (no I had not seen that before, lol). Love it!!

Hi guys, I have massive battery stats problem. I was yound and stupid when i came to xda. I wiped my battery stats two times while I was running arhd 15 i think. I am running the same rom without any updates but I have problem. Once I wiped my stats when hox had 30% battery and once he was 100%. So when I take him from charger he is good for 5 minutes and then he shuts down and gains some battery loss. Then he is ok untill 30% when he shuts down again and losses 20%. Can somebody help me, will the flashing kernel boot.img help? And will the factory reset help? Please someone I am desperate.

Weird :S
Wiping battery stats doesnt make a difference to that
Either you have a faulty batteyr, or its a software issue.
Make a backup of apps and stuff,
then wipe data/factory resrt in recovery, wipe cache and dalvik cache, and flash another rom with its boot.img (IN fastboot)
Try Blade, amazing battery
I am using blade right now, I saw your comment and installed new hboot and the Rom. I must tell it is great. It didn't crash one time, but battery isn't that good but I guess it is couse old battery stats are still in there I will just use the battery calibration application. Thank you

Anyone? And does the HBOOT update 1.36 make the battery last longer?
Hi guys, sorry for my english but I'm using google translator xD
I'm a happy owner of Htc One x+ but I notice a strange behavior of the battery as soon as it arrives at the 13/14% down to 0% in less than a minute. You too have noticed this strange behavior? Can be solved in any way?
Try to fully charge it and then wipe battery stats in recovery.

I realized immediately after posting and I can not delete it. Sorry!!
Don't be sorry , happends to the best of us ! Hahah but wiping the battery stats is of use when the battery level in the rom has a faulty display. Wiping the batt stats doesn't make the batt live longer. But it gives a more accurate level !

haha the strange thing is that I had the same problem with the stock rom.
Edit: I noticed that other people have the same problem ..
I don't have such issues on my one X but exactly the same problem on the Desire.
In some cases the phone already goes off at 25%.
Wiping the battery stats doesn't really help and if it does it helps for like a day and everything is broken again.
I've been told that this is a broken battery driver and there's nothing you can do about it without doing extremely high efforts.
Hope this helped a bit.
