I can't access the recovery mode on Sony Ericsson Xperia Play (CDMA)
I tried all method , but I couldn't access the recovey mode or bootloader
my phone is locked with password I forgot the password and i can't access the recovery mode to wipe it , any help?

You can always use update service to update (repair) your phone and wipe your data. But that might be a last resort if anything.
Next time ask in the Xperia play Q & A.

I rooted my phone and deleted xperia home launcher after installing another launcher. I accidentally clicked factory reset and when I opened my xperia M, I cannot access my home screen anymore so I decided to turn it off but when I tried to turn it on again, it only showed the sony logo and the xperia logo. I'm a newbie. Please help.

download the firmware for your model and then flash the downloaded firmware using flashtool
its easy once you get used to it..:laugh::laugh:

I have a sony experia r800i phone, i put rom x-game v2.00 from the recovery but it freez in rom's logo, i tried to access the recovery again but it doesn't give me a display :crying:
I also used sony update service program but it doesn't recognize it...
anyone have idea help me
Flashmode and flash a stock ftf. That should do it.
After i rooted my mobile,, i tried to unlock boot loader of xperia M , by following all instructions which have been shown in Xda ... after i performed all steps and when i turn ON my phone it is all ways loading sony logo ...and it not coming to back to its original state ....plz help me friends
while i am performing i checked bootloader unlock status is Yes
and it is also not entering into recovery mode.... plz help me friends

I have Cyanogenmod Recovery on my Sony Xperia ZL. My problem is I have cleaned the previous ROM installed,wiped data and cache and now I am not able to install any ROM through my SD Card. Gets an error every time I install. Any Rom from cm11 to latest. None is working. Tried to read recovery logs, not able to... Is it possible to install another recovery through this or any other solution. Biggest problem is my PC does not recognize the phone even in fastboot mode even I installed the drivers.. I am able to charge the phone and go to recovery too.. but unable to do anything further.. Even get a logo for Sony Xperia ZL..

Bought a broken Xperia play from EBay, got it working, running Android 2.2.3 I think with locked boot loader but I'm sure it was rooted as SU was on it.
Problem is Android market won't work so got CMW recovery working and tried to install Slim bean rom, on reboot after rom install I just have Sony Ericsson on screen and can't get back to recovery.
Any ideas how to get back to stock or custom rom?

If you hold down the search (magnifying lens) button and connect the phone to the computer, what shows up in Device Manager? You should see "Sony Ericsson sa0102" or something similar. Also, what model of Play do you have, is the bootloader unlocked, and do you have FlashTool (preferably v0.9.11.0)?
