Install stock email app? - Galaxy Note II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Is it possible to install the stock email app from Google? I attempted it last night but it failed both times. I then tried to rename the current email app (was going to replace it with the google one) and it also shouted at me. I am rooted and running the Omega 4.0 custom ROM. Thanks so much.

[Q] How can I install the stock android calendar?

Hi,
I'm using a rooted DHD, with the stock Sense ROM. I've tried installing the stock android calendar the following way:
I removed the HTC calendar.apk using root explorer. Then after extracting it from a cyanogenmod ROM i installed the android calendar.apk. The install went fine, but I got a force close each time I opened the app.
Then I also removed the HTC GoogleCalendarSyncAdapter.apk (using RE), exctracted the cyanogenmod version and tried installing it but after each attempt it says "App not installed".
Should I flash this file using ROM manager instead, or will that **** up my DHD? (Will it even work if I do this?)
As you can see, I'm pretty much in the dark here.... Does anyone have a flashlight? I would greatly appreciate it!

[Q] AOSP Email on Midnight ROM

Does anyone know a way to get AOSP email working on and EPIC running midNIGHT rom 4.1? After I install the AOSP email zip in clockwork all I get is force closes and I have to revert back to the stock email app.
Did you try clearing the email apps caches?
Also, did you try just putting the apk on your sdcard and then copy it to the /system/app folder

Problem with Kezra's Rom in android market

Only happened this morning to me. Was trying to buy an app and it kept sayin Error occured try again later. Only happens for paid apps. Can download free apps. Before i flashed kezra rom it worked fine. After it i installed a few free apps no problem. Checked pretty much everything and even tried flashing the rom again afew time to no success. Everything else was working in order like when i first got the phone
Emailed android centre about it. But i just said i restore back to original rom 2.3.5 and see if that worked and it did. Anybody else have this problem
Try to login to your google account again then reboot your wonder
If it happened again
Try my stock rom

ICS Compatible CWM

Hello,
I know this is probably brought up a lot, however, I need an ICS based Clockwork Recovery Mod, for this phone. I woke up this morning to not be able to open up my mail in the gmail app on both my phone and tablet.
Since I flashed my phone to stock ICS a while back before Custom Recoveries were stable for it.
I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks,

[Q] Uninstalled stock gallery app by mistake on Cyanogenmod-11

I am currently using cm-11 on my Xperia M. Few days ago I uninstalled the stock gallery app and installed the sony album app instead. But I recently found that without the stock gallery app, I am unable to set the wallpapers, edit images etc. I tried to install the stock gallery app from the .apk file but it didn't install. Is there anyway to install it back and fix the issue? Or is flashing the rom again, the only option? Also, if I flash it again(install .zip from cwm recovery), will I lose all my data or will it just upgrade the apps without deleting all my data?
i think you could just flash again and it will upgrade and give you the app back
