[ROM] ♣♣♣ KimsMod Supreme ♣♣♣
I am currently on Wildchild v2.1
I went through [ROM] ♣♣♣ KimsMod Supreme ♣♣♣ thread in Development and seems to be a good option to change my ROM.
But I see different versions of ROM there and being new I cant post question in development forums, so can anyone provide a Changelog for KimsMod ROMs....or may be some link to find it.

Hi guys.
I rooted my Desire and chose this ROM:
[ROM] [21/09] Pre-rooted Stock Froyo (2.10.405.2) [Optional mods]
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=773997
I installed the v2 ROM with init.d Support (2.0) so i can use Mods if i want to.
The ROM runs great but now i want to install a Powersaving-Mod.
How do i have to install it?
Can i just use Clockwork Recovery and install this update-Package?
Is there anything i have to care about?
Thx
Erich
Install the same way as you installed the ROM (install zip from sdcard option).
Is there any cm7 miui rom with data2sd? hc miui 3.2 has no data2sd support
There are no CM7 MIUI ROMs for Wildfire S, only MIUI-like CM7 mods. If you want "original" MIUI ROM look for CM9 based ROMs.

Flash INT2EXT4+ after rom installation
I use MIUI v4 based on CM9 with CronMod INT2EXT4+ and it works great!
Just install any (non a2sd enabled) MIUI you like, make sure you format your sd-ext partition in ext4 and flash the INT2EXT4+ script in recovery right after you flash the rom (boot the rom up once right after you flash it, return to recovery and then flash the script if you encounter problems). Download the script from here, which is just the link copied out of the original INT2EXT thread.
BTW I use twrp recovery v. 2.2.2.0

I use the same MIUI as the one linked before with Data2SD, very stable and fast rom.

Flash AOKP rom.
AOKP has a rom control section in the settings, CM10 has most of the same settings integrated into other settings menus.
There is also a stock 4.1.2 rom which has no rom control or extra settings for obvious reasons
I flashed this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1763240
and afterwards I want to flash this kernel:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1873615
Possible?
And - is this a ROM, where ROMControl is not included? :<
regards

U've flashed a stock AOSP rom...so no AOKP (ROMControl) or CM10 features included. And yes....u can flash n3ocort3x's kernel with your current rom, but maybe u've to repack boot.img. Better to ask in kernel thread.
Okay..
Thanks.
I've wanted to flash that ROM because on other ROMs (CyanogenMod10, IceColdJelly, SlimBean) I had screen flickering.
On stock 4.0 ROM and, in my eyes, on the 4.1.2 ROM that I posted above, I did not have those..
What would you do? :0
regards.
had kept my arc for quite a while now but still on ics [ultimate HD rom] thought maybe its time to upgrade to kitkat now so
can i clean flash any kitkat rom directly or do i need to flash any jellybean or kitkat base rom first?

No, you don't need to do this, only flash a kitkat kernel ( always the recommended kernel in the rom zip), do the proper cleaning ( clean partition cache , dalvik, format system ) and then flash a kitkat rom . Obviously you can do this ONLY if you have an unlocked bootloader.

make sure you read the proper installaiton process on ROMS development thread. some roms require some steps (like legacy xperia the formatiation, NOT WIPE! of cache/data & system) good luck!
First sorry for my english
I will do my best
I would like to customise my S4 Mini
But some questions before beginning
Which CWM shoul I install?
CWM Recovery 6.XXX or [CWM Advanced Edition] PhilZ Touch
Next step, what is the différence between OFFICIAL ROM and UNOFFICIAL ROM?
[ROM][4.4.4][I9195/I9190][OFFICIAL] LiquidSmooth v3.2 - Nightly:0808
[ROM][GT-I9195/9190] [UNOFFICIAL] [AOSP][KK] [20140623] **C-RoM** - v7.1 : 4.4.4
Which one will be better and why?
And perhaps last : How can I save all my data and apps before installing a Custom ROM?
And how can I restore them without any pb
Thanks and Tchusss :good:
noone to help me ?

If you use PhilZ touch you'll have a touch UI in your recovery in the other version you have to use hardware buttons to navigate. Unofficial means that the Rom isn't buil from the original devs of the Rom but from someone else who ported it to our device and official means the Rom is built by the original devs of the Rom.

I'd use PhilZ Touch personally, there are a few more options with it, you can easily navigate and there's a file manager you can use from there as well (think it's called Aroma from the top of my head, could be wrong). The differences of official and unofficial have been said already, but which is better is completely dependant on what you're looking for in a custom ROM.
Which varient do you have? i have duos
I use f4k kernel which lets me overclock it to 2 GHz, plus i use CWM 6.0.4 ( I am not sure it there is official philz touch for my gt-i9192), plus have carbon rom 4.4.4 and customused it like hell. currently installed miui express launcher and miui theme for cm
