Best rom for bluetooth - HTC Wildfire S

Basically I need a good working rom with Bluetooth (preferably a daily use stable rom).
Most rom makers don't include anything in the bluetooth specs in the OP so I am asking experienced users.

[Q] Good multilangauge ICS Rom for Desire?

I have just got my hands on an old HTC Desire.. And now I will play with ICS rom's
But....
Is there one ICS rom that is more stable than other=?
Is there a MULTILANGAUGE ICS rom ?
What ROM can you advise me to use ??
Hey !
I am currently using BCM R4.0, really impressive and smooth !!
From my former tests, the ROM from Sandvold was good also, both him and DK-Zero-Cool are doing great work.
I can confirm what Enendil says - the BCM ROM has almost everything you may need.
All language packs and keyboard layouts from CyanogenMod 9 are available.
Also you can use COS ICS, its stable fast and have the language packs you want, also I never get one bsod with this rom.
Thanks.. I'll try one of them...
But if i like SENSE to be in a rom... Then what rom to use ??

There's only 1. And that's shaky153's Sense 4.0 Rom. But its in Alpha and loads of stuff don't work yet. Shaky himself said he will work on Kernel 3.0 (Project Y) before continuing development of Sense 4. So if you want Sense and a usable device, best stay on AOSP and switch when the features you need are working on the Rom.

Okay.. Thanks...
I recommend using the BCM CM9 ICS 4.0 rom
For me its perfect. Its the most stable one and the smoothest one too. USB tether is fixed on this rom and the camera works so does the recorder too but the video playback is crap and to fix this u just use MX Player that has decoding options. Everything else works perfect. All the games are much faster here and almost all the games work just like they work on gb. They are just much faster. For example Hot Pursuit works perfect on this rom and just try the game on a gb rom and see that its slow and cuz of that boring.

ICS 4.0.4 BCM RC4.0U0 GSM/CDMA (Bravo CM9 HWA) by DK_ZeroCool is the best for me. I'm from Ukraine and I haven't any problems with my language in this ROM
it's true, if you want sense on your phone, you better stick with android 2.x.
but you should give ICS a try, because i was just like you and wanted to keep my stock sense UI, but i'm super glad to have changed to 4.0.4.
i use sandvolds ICS, and it's very stable. only thing that's missing is video recording. but i'm okay with that.
well, just try for yourself and you will find out what's best for you

Which ROM has. The best sound via headphones?

Jellytime has been great for overall sound,it has built in tweaks for audio for with or without headphones.i really like the built in option with no need to install sound enhancers.

[Q] WiFi on all Sense 4.0 ROMs never works?

I've tried these three Sense 4.0 ROMs and my phone always reboots when I connect to WiFi.
Sabsa Prime Ver 7 & 8.5
ICESenseV 1.1
TrickDroid 4.0
Cosmic Sandwich V3
This only happens on Sense 4.0 ROMs, this never happened on RevolutionHD, Cleardroid, Jellytime, etc
I wipe everything before flashing, I've tried 3 different radios and still get this problem.
I'm guessing others aren't because all three of the mentioned ROMs are described as having no issues.
Hmm strange cause wifi works for me on sense 4.0 Roms. Are your sure your battery cover are on correctly?

Lol, that would be hilarious if it was the problem, and I wish it was.
But no, as I said it only happens when I try Sense 4.x ROMs
You know that the wifi antenna is in the battery cover? Well I have no idea why it doesn't work specifically for sense 4.0 Roms :-\

Thanks though.
Reflashing without wipe worked for me.
On TrickDroid v4 also Wi-fi Hotspot works
Tested it some minutes ago..

Yeah, like I said I usually don't see people complaining about the WiFi not working.
Seems to be affecting just a few people. Weird :/

Hmm, interesting. I'll have to try that.
Sense kernel 3.0 does not support all the channels...so yes wifi does not work all the time. I have the same issue as well with sense ROM's, it wont connect to my work network. Same thing with JB ROM's as well.
See if you can change channel and if it fixes it...

Just tried flashing over the ROM w/out wiping as well as different channels. Still doesn't work :/
I think I'm just gonna wait for the One X+
Problem Solved
I have finally found the solution to my problem.
It was just a simple change of kernel that was needed.

for me in all sense 4 roms wifi works even better than in sense 3.6 or 3.5. Could be related to kernel. Try changing it.
For me WiFi works on every ROM (just little problems on JB ROMs), but not fine: it doesn't connect to 802.11n networks. All N-networks can be found, but DHD doesn't connect.

I did change it. That's what I meant.
And it worked. No reboots so far. Should have happened by now if it didn't work.

Qiss rom review (Imp)

i found very strange that where all the desire jb roms on xda are unstable and camera and video playbck is not working, amazingly this taiwenese qiss rom there is no video flickering error and camera is working like a charm.its 99% stable too.i request to developers here plz if u can contact these guyz and find out the solution in xda roms also?????????
And also video recording is working at 25-30 fps.And this rom does not crash at all even then it is only a beta release
yup using it daily! and it is damn stable! everything works .. only thing missing is a2sd script support(only on ICS.. scripts working fine on JB version)

Problem is that they aren't releasing any source code. We can't do much without it. You're welcome to spam the f out of them
Giving it a try now, I think keep on bothering them to release source is the best thing to do, they have to at some point in accordance with opensource licenses

I have sent them an email a week ago. No response. Maybe if more people ask, they may release some source code or give some help.

If anyone knows chinese, it would be good to post a request on their forums:

They helped to fix some issues on Desire HD roms earlier this year (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1544617)
Definitely
Downloading... I will give it a try!

Anyone managed to get daemon controller working on the qiss rom? I tried but cpu scheduling settings dont persist... This could help with the battery drain..

haven't tried daemon controller but i am using jelly bean version and the battery is pretty amazing! i can get more than 2days with light use and with moderate use(wifi all day and some gaming(temple run lol)), i am on 1d 20h 49min and it is still 21%!
On ICS, battery was much weaker (but was still decent)

wifi issue

can please someone tell me which is the best kernel for ics or jb to get best wifi stable range as in gb or i will have to stick with gb only?
edit: please tell the rom + kernel option with the base rom.
i have head .13 of jader and one more custom based has wifi stability like gb.
so please help me
Any stock based ICS ROM will give you stability you need. It's just a matter of finding out what ROM fits you best.

I don't know about stability but when it comes to range then CM10 with Fusion 4.5 kernel is really good. Sadly 4.5 is not available anymore (if you are really REALLY interested then I can upload it for you) but you can always try this new ICS from jader.

you sure it will give the same range and stablility as gb with no drops?
I don't know I've never tested it stability wise but in a place where stock was giving me 1 bar of range with constant wifi drops CM10 with Fusion 4.5 gives me stable 2 bars without disconnecting every 2 minutes.
try anzu kernel. Tried it using uhd w/ no issue.

I used my arc at a restaurant last night.WiFi bar was full.Immediate access to internet and very fast downloads.
Came back home, used existing WiFi and only the dot which made disappearing act now and then.
So you see,its not the problem with the device nor the kernel.
