Hello.
I am using the latest MIUI rom on my AT&T Galaxy SIII. I am having an issue with my Google Now search results, or what I believe to be an issue.
Normally, before switching to MIUI, my results showed up in the standard Google mobile view. However, now it is showing up as this more standard web view. I have not found a setting to change this, nor other threads addressing this.
Is this standard of MIUI?
Thank you in advance.

For the life of me, I cannot get voice to text, or voice feature too work. I've tried everything and posted in the MIUI forums without any answers or reply's. Also have a issue with certain apps not showing up on the desktop even though they are enabled to be shown.
Did you download voice search by Google in the market? Apps should appear on one of your far right home screens once downloaded.

What kernel? Doesn't work well with stock kernel, I've found jdkernel to handle this the best...
Is this in the dev section?

Hey guys. I updated my Sprint Galaxy Nexus to Jellybean and Google Now won't put any sports team for me. For example I have searched the Yankees multiple times yet they still don't come up automatically. Sports teams aren't turned off in settings or anything. My friend has A GSM Galaxy Nexus and he is on Official 4.1.1 and he searched twice and they appeared. Is anyone else having this problem? Or is their a way I could fix it?

i've got the same problem. 'sports' is on in settings, and there's a place where you can edit teams, but it's grayed out for me. searching for teams doesn't add teams.
I'm running an alpha of CM 10. are you running CM or another custom ROM too?
I've found if you keep asking "Cincinnati Reds score" or "when do the Reds play" or "how to get to great american ballpark", etc. does the "team" trick and it will appear as a card on your gnow screen.
It's weird how you can't just set your team on the settings menu...

I believe you have to have web search history enabled, at least that worked for me.
fount this thread on google code: http://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=34950
search history does have to be enabled, but it was already enabled for me quite a while ago.
looks like it won't add your team if that sport isn't in season yet. i was able to add Atlanta Braves, but not Falcons. took about 5 minutes and a few tries.
searching for 'olympics' brings up a card, but it doesn't add it to my now feed (or at least hasn't yet).
the 'Edit Team' function is only enabled once you have at least one team automatically added.
I just got my GS3 last Monday. It came with 4.0.4 and I spent a few days with it. It just updated to 4.1.1 yesterday. So I've only had 24 hours or so with it, but, I noticed something odd.
When I am using the stock browser to do a www.google.com search, what I type in the search bar will not auto space like anything else I type, like email, text etc. Using the Swype Keyboard, not the Samsung Keyboard (this behavior is not present using the Samsung Keyboard!) It's very odd, not sure if it's a fluke or what. Anyone else experience this?
I did check my wife's GS3, also on 4.1.1, does the same thing.

Change to auto space. Its something like "spacebar corrects word" or something to that effect. Its in the swype settings in language and input. 100% your problem.
Good luck.

That's the worst part, auto space is enabled and working properly in all other apps, just not the browser!

I went one step further, downloaded Swype Beta, still had this problem in browser only!

Auto space settings are correct, as I said, it works properly in all other apps except the stock browser. I have a tablet running ICS that doesn't exhibit this behavior, and my phone did not do this under ICS, it seems unique to JB.
Tried it in Dolphin browser, goggle.com search bar does the same thing!
Further testing today!

I am new to this type of work, I recently just followed a guide to unlock, root, and install 4.2.2 on my Verizon Galaxy Nexus. I used the WugFresh? tool and it seemed to go pretty smooth.
However, now my phone will crash several times a day. I get messages that bluetooth has stopped working, or the lockscreen has stopped working, and sometimes it just won't turn the screen on and I need to pull the battery.
Can someone recommend a good ROM that I can push to the device that is tried and tested? I don't know where to find ROMs, how to compare them, or what is best for me. I just want the latest version of stock Android on my almost 2 year old Galaxy Nexus.
I was looking at this page:
[Can't post link as I am a new user...]
and I think I would want the ROM under:
Factory Images "mysid" for Galaxy Nexus "toro" (Verizon CDMA/LTE)
called '4.2.2 (JDQ39)'
I have attached a couple images showing the 'About Phone' so you can see what I currently have.
Thanks in advance,
David
I recommend Shiny ROM. It's pretty much 4.4.2 without any modifications. For me, it's been the most stable of KitKat Roms.

I just bought a Nexus 7 (2013) after using a Samsung Tab 2 7.0 for the last couple years. I also have a Galaxy S 4. I've now tried 4 other email apps but find that the stock Samsung email app works perfectly for everything I want to do. Does anyone know where I can find Samsung email version 4.4.2.0200 as a standalone app so I can install it on the Nexus? If anyone knows where I can find the APK it sure would be appreciated.
Most Samsung apps are TouchWiz dependant. Your better off looking on the playstore for a replacement. K9 mail, aqua mail...etc

Thanks for your quick response. I was afraid that was going to be the answer. I tried K-9 and I find it to be funky with the way it treats deleted mail on the server and in a few other areas. Haven't looked at Aqua but did try some other email apps. Never realized how useful some of the Samsung specific apps are. In the short time I've had the Nexus I love the speed, cellular capability and various other things (including the price) but miss a number of features from Samsung.

Try tot extract the APK (from your s4 or tab) with 'Lucky Patcher' and sideload it on your N7.

Have you tried CloudMagic? It's a damn nice email app. I use it to combine all my inboxes from different providers (Yahoo, hotmail and gmail). I used to be on Samsung and this one beats it hands down.
Why not just let Gmail manage the other email accounts
