Status bar move clock to center?

I was wondering if someone knows a way [if there is one] to move the position of the clock in the status bar to the center instead if the far right on the T989?

AOKP and CM have options in the ROM to move to have center clock.

I'm running Ericwills Cm10. I can only find the option to hide the clock. Some reason xda app is getting error when I tried tapping on your reply

Hmm, my mistake. AOKP ICS has it it in ROM control for sure. Maybe CM9 to.

off topic a little but elesbb what program are you using to compile/decompile I am getting mad errors everytime I try.
I use APK Multi-Tool, AutoAPKTool2.0.4a

You have to make sure you have the latest aapt app installed.

now I thought I did but in the event I did not can you send me your version or link me to what you use. I want to mirror someone else who has it working. Lord knows I have downloaded a million different things... Oh yea and thanks

Yep and you have to use the modded apktool. Have everything working. Did a couple battery mods ^-^

Yeah when I get my laptop working again I'll zip everything I have. I even wrote a batch file to simply my process.

It is but it isn't lol. The initial set up was a pain but now that it's all downloaded and ready to go it's not too much ^-^

MA4 stock is a fast ROM

Post deleted because I have upset the theme crowd but I stand by my premiss.....
This is a GREAT stock entry and worth the time/trouble to flash!

Deodexed with no mods (should be slower as odex is faster). On anthrax kernel at the moment with no kernel tewaks. Amd no OC this is at 1512.

Was hoping to see performance improvements but no change. Took quads before and after. Tried deodexed and odexed. Same results as 4.1.1

There should not be noticeable performance differences. There are numerous articles, so you google it to find more details. The biggest gain is a start / boot up time. Odex is faster than Deodex.

Your comment doesn't make any sense when you look at the thread title. The observation here is how fast this new build is. My point was that I didn't notice any difference. I know in theory that odex should be faster. In my personal benchmarks it wasnt.

Thanks for the info. The related threads have mostly degenerated into a circle jerk with no actual information in it. I've spent hours reading without finding anything about the content of the updates.

(Request) fully transparent status bar

That would be awesome if someone could create a mod so we had a fully transparent status bar using any launcher or wallpaper! Any genius out there who's feeling the same way?

The first one says "no need to delete the odex file," so I'm guessing it would. Just make sure to make a backup before you try!

It's in there. Settings/look and feel. Here's a screen shot. I talked to the developer who creates apex launcher and he's going to add it on next release. Getting to like nova! Awesome looking mod!

How to change DPI in build.prop?

I am running cm10, I switched from carbon ROM because I was getting a lot of RRs, and I like cm, but I miss being able to change the pixel density in the settings. So how do I change it in build.prop? Or even better is there a kernel that would add it to the settings?

Look for ro. sf.lcd_density=240 and change it to whatever you want. Rom toolbox and other applications can change it as well. Most of the roms out now have it a build in options in settings to change it just have to dig for it sometimes.

lol ...yeah i sneak one in every now and then...after a lengthly debate with someone my builds go to original dev section....
hers the break down on why...
yes i use team lgog source but that doesnt cut it to build from source... you have to make/copy/edit/create several files...soooooo... because i do that to mk things build is my understanding...(which i argued over disagreeing with that it should be in the original section...now if i was to build a rom that is official (without me merging something to make it official) it should go in the android dev section not original)...now this is probably going to spark another debate ...but thats my understanding of the original and regular (android development section)....[ducking and covering as to be missed by the flames]
