Does any one know where I can find the icons on the bottom of the screen??
there are many threads on xda devoted to icons, and collections of icons. check those threads.
I've been checking for hours, still cant find those icons...just wondering if anyone might have came across them before and can direct me in the right way
I think I've seen those in the "What does your MIUI look like?" thread. In Android Themes I believe.

Thanks!..ill take a look.. though the number of pages looks quite daunting lol

Am I the only one who finds it a bit annoying to scroll through page after page looking for apps when 70% of the threads are about themes?
Don't get me wrong, I appreciate all the work that you guys do here at xda! Although it would be easier to find the good stuff if themes and apps were separated imo
Sorry if the thread is misplaced.
Exactly! I'd like to have all app infos in one place.
I don't understand why people using themes but that's another case.
I'd like to see a forum for all themes and apps requiring root and another for all un-rooted stuff.
What's the point. No one reads or obeys any of the rules anyway. People just post what they want, where they want.
An example is this thread. It should have been posted in the Q&A section

Multiple sections with no one to police them .
Apps are likely to be posted in Q&A Themes in dev anything in anywhere .
If users are to lazy to search then why should they be spoonfed .

but naturally u would ask a question about themes and apps thread in the thread? cause i personally wouldnt of thought to look in q/a for something like this. atleast this way people who may of thought it will see it while looking round on the thread? i think apps and themes having their own separate thread would be good. why do i want to see apps when im looking for themes? or why do i wona see themes when im looking for apps? i think its a great idea. thumbs up

Totally agree with your points. I think it would be easier to find topics that way!

What posters should do is put either APP or THEME heading at the beginning of each post .

When I created the thread I saw that someone had created a similar thread in a different forum. It was placed under "Themes and Apps" and it hadn't been moved so I thought that it was a good place.
And in the bottom of my post I apoligize for eventual misplacement
On the first page where you see all the forums, themes and apps are separated for Android. Why wouldn't all the subforums have the same design?
And yes people should have [THEME] and [APP] in the topic, and many of the posters actually do this. But how is that helpful in this matter? The problem for me isn't that I click on threads and find the wrong stuff, it's that I have to scroll through lots of stuff that I'm not interested in at the time.
Regarding search, do you mean that I should search for everything? How would I find new stuff? I can't guess what people name their apps
I'd like these subforums separated too. I look for both, but never at the same time. The apps seem to get buried under all the themes.
I don't think the thread is in the wrong section, it doesn't really have to do with the phone itself, but the forum, and this section of the forum.
Now ontopic, I also find it a bit fragmented to see the themes when I want the apps, but then the same thing happens with other subforums too. Personally I would like a separate subforum for apps and one for themes, but it might increase the unwanted clutter.
I remember seeing a user that posts frequently in this section, in his signature he had a link to xda where there are lots of sense themes in one topic. They were multi colors I believe.
I cant seem to remember which user it was, and when I try searching for it, I only find topics that are just for one specific theme
Does anyone know who/which topic I am referring to??
Any know were i can find this exact wallpaper. Its not the same as the stock spectrum wallpaper that comes with th phone. colors ar brighter and lines are a little different. I see it in so many images but cant find it anywhere.

Might be in this thread
There are several threads asking the same question and the answer always is this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1434748
apperantly that is as close as you get to the wall you have on the screenshot
Found this on Deviantart by "ElessarTelcontar"
Thank you guys....sorry for asking when there was a thread on it already. i searched the forum for wallpapers and couldnt find it so i must have search for the wrong thing.
Thanks again
I'm not very good with MSPaint, but I mocked up something I think could help a lot of people navigate this site a little easier. The search function works, but why shouldn't you be able to see a list of ROMs at a glance? A lot of the development forums here have several sticky posts, and things become difficult to navigate.
When threads that just list ROMs contained in a forum have to be stickied, it shows that a change is necessary because people aren't able to locate the one they're looking for. There are several threads in the same dev forums that have the same keywords, and this makes searching very aggravating sometimes.
Let me know what you think about this mock-up. I know it looks kind of ****ty, but try to see what I was getting at. Instead of drilling down into the forum to find an official thread about a specific ROM, just click the icon at the top of the forum page... or you could put this type of list on it's own page separate from the actual developer forum.

They are currenty working on a Dev tool, that will make finding Roms much easier, plus lots more features, so your idea is a good one, just they are already on it.
I don't knock anyone who has an idea, good or bad. At least it shows ppl are thinking and want to share their idea
Hi its a bit annoying trawling the web for various icon packs, or even the mighty xda thread that exists.
Thought it might be a good idea to create a thread for this purpose alone.
This isnt a thread to post your own download of someone elses icon pack, purely because its rude, but if you know where you got them, share the screenshot and the link or just the link, takes someone seconds to get to a site so no worries
i will do this also!
Dear mods..i think this is a good idea,if you dont, obviously close the thread lol
