Anyone ?????????
Odexed? Most mods, like 90% of them are made for deodexed.
Maybe the prime version of nova launcher?

I don't know if its possible on an odexed ROM but it could be accomplised on an deodexed ROM by de-compiling SystemUI.apk and modifying res/layout/navigation_bar.xml

I used dsixda's Android Kitchen to customized my stock rom from CWM backup. I encountered a problem deodexing some of the apps. The following apps are:
Maps.odex
Phonesky.odex
PlusOne.odex
VoiceSearch.odex
I hope someone can help me to deodex this apps. Thank you very much.
Another question, can I include this odex file co-exist with deodex file in my custom rom? Can i delete some of it?
My another question is removing deodexed apps is simple as deleting the apps in "/system/app/" directory, right?
Thank you very much. I hope you understand.

LOL what heck are you guys talking about? I provided a deodexed system for the firmware DXKT8 (Stock Rom)
Which means: You cannot use with Cyanogenmod, and it is not a flashable zip! It is not a system dump...
It is not a ROM. It only contains app & framework folder.
Lol

After Extracting, I found a lot of apks
should it be installed one after another..
or how to deodex my odex DXKT8
Can those APKs used to odex it?
Yes replace the odexed ones from your rom with this deodexed ones

I thought it gotta be more difficult
Thanks man! I do appreciate your help....
:cyclops:
oops
will this deodexed dxkt8 working with a2sd DT?
I do hope so
Can somebody explain a bit about it?
Please do not spam with double post.. you can edit your post.. it's simple.. and for a2sd you need an edited 02gio and init.d script ... so use a custom rom like giopro or adrenaline
Thread closed as requested by the OP.
EDIT:
Opened as requested by the OP.
YZ.
Updated! You can flash it like any other ROM
Any a2sd script for this stock room like for the cm7,cm9 and cm10 ?

Odexed ROMs can be modified using odexed apps, I just did it with a modded MMS apk with emoji support.

Do you want 2.3.6 stock firmware to edit updater-script? I don't get it. You need a system folder from 2.3.6 right?

NOW WITH IMPROVED BATTERY PERCENTAGE CIRCLE
BEFORE PROCEEDING WITH REPLACING THE SystemUI.apk PLEASE READ ALL THE INFORMATION.
NOTE: This is only to be used with Nexus 4 running STOCK Android 4.3 build JWR66V. Using it on a different ROM or a build may cause issues and I’m not responsible for any problem or damage caused to your phone.
PLEASE DO A NANDROID BACKUP BEFORE PROCEEDING.
YOUR PHONE MUST BE ROOTED.
How To Install :
First backup the SystemUI.apk in ‘../system/app’ (If you do not like the MOD you can revert back to stock by replacing the original apk back)
Download and replace the moded SystemUI.apk with the stock one in ‘../system/app’. ( You can use a file explorer like Root Explorer or Solid Explorer to replace the file.)
Make sure the permissions are 644 after replacing. ( Owner - Read,Write / Group - Read / Others - Read )
Reboot and enjoy the MOD
I have attached the stock version of SystemUI.apk for 4.3 build JWR66V with out the Battery Percentage MOD in case anyone want to go back to stock.

@Th3RiddL3r Here is the MODDED SytemUI.apk you have requested for JSS15J OpenMaster Branch. I could not test this so take a BACKUP of your original SystemUI.apk before replacing this in case this does not work. Replace and let me know if its working or not.

Hi,
I have installed this stock rom:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2384877
I tried replacing the provided SystemUI.apk for this post, but when I replace this I have no soft-keys anymore as well as the display is stretched to the top.
I replaced my self backuped 4.3 SystemUI.apk file back and it was wroking again, but of course no percentage in the notification bar.
Do I need to check any other file? The permission were correct to 664.
Thanks a lot
Max
Thanks, works perfect on rooted JWR66V.
Any chance you could also edit a 32DPI nav bar in the SystemUI.apk?

This happens because even it says stock its not actually the stock 4.3 ROM Google provide. It is based on stock ROM. Because of this the SystemUI.apk in your ROM is different. So the apk I have provided will not work. Provide me with your SystemUI.apk and framework-res.apk(in system/framework) then i will compile an apk compatible to your rom.
Cheers.

Thanks for your compliments. I will try but I cannot guarantee you on 32DPI nav bar as I am busy with my office work. If i do I will share it with you all.
The only reason I have created this MOD is because I didn't like the battery icons in currently available battery percentage mods by others. So I have created my own set of battery percentage icons that matches my taste to use in my Nexus. Then I thought of sharing this in case if there is any one who have a similar taste to mine
Cheers.
works great - thank you
