I was rebooting my arc and I pressed some buttons unintentionally but unfortunately I can't remember what I pressed.
The LED light turned pink and it opened recovery mode .
And in cwm when i press any button all the screen goes right and when i press it another time it returns to it's normal state like in the pics below.
I tried to reboot the phone many times but still the same pink light not blue.
When I tried to charge my phone the LED turned yellow not red !!!!
So please help me and tell me what should I do !!
My ARC is unlocked bootloader using C.A.M.P rom with Arc fusion kernel v.3.5
This bug in recovery happens in every JB Kernel
And your Led light is normal so dont worry my friend

I'm newbie to this procedure,so i want your help,because i'm desparate.Today i decided,for the first time, to install on my xperia Arc(it 15i),the cyanogenmod 10-nightly 20121222 rom,after unloacking the bootloader.Just followed the procedure as described at Freexperia team site.All went well until after flashing CM kernel.Indeed after sucessfully flashing CM kernel,i have Freexperia logo at the screen,but when press several times volume up button to enter the CWM mode nothing happens,and the as the device is connected to my pc,the green led light lights and the battery icon appears on the screen.Please i want your help,because my device is unresponsive.Sorry for my English,but isn't my native language.Thanks in advnce.Bill.

Then you're not doing it right. Keep pressing the volume button when the boot image shows until it boots in to CWM.

Disconnect from computer
Switch off phone
On it and when logo comes blue led glows press volume down button repeatedly

Hello, i have just registered to the forums, but i already follow xda for a long time. So here is my problem, i have already installed "ICS JJ's Hybrid Rom" on my Xperia Arc S without trouble at all, but now that i want to try a new rom i'm facing a big problem with fastboot.. I have tried to go FastBoot pressing Menu/Back button and plug in the phone, i tried to reboot in fastboot by X-Parts/Rom Manager and so on, but no luck untill now, and i dont know what is the problem since i don't even get blue light when i try to do it.
Yes i have installed flashtool drivers for the phone, basically green light appears instead of blue, the phone goes on black screen and after 5-10 seconds it disconnects.
I don't know if you guys need more information or not but i think im doing everything correctly, because i have tried countless guides and videos.
I would really appreciate some help if possible, thanks.
Have you actually unlocked your bootloader?
as i said, i have [ICS]JJ's Hybrid Rom on my Xperia Arc right now, so yes i had to unlock bootloader to install it.
JJ's hybrid works on locked bootloaders too. Have you flashed any custom kernel

If you get green light, you are turning your phone into flashmode and not fastboot. Hold down Menu button and then connect the cable.
I know that i enter fastboot with holding menu button but it just doesnt work, the only way it works is with Emma (Sony FlashTools) and it appears green light as well when i do it.
Dear Alejandrissimo I have a big problem with my phone xperia play r800i 2.3.4.I tried to flash cyanogenmod but i did something wrong.After that my phone is dead. I cant turn it on,when i am going to do this an orange light lights up on the turn on button.It goes on black screen and then nothing.No logos are appeared. I tried to flash the default kernel from android gadgematics but i couldnt. The last time i did this i kept tapping the search button until it lights the blue led light on the turn on button, i tried to flash the kernel but it didnt happen anything. If you have any other questions write me to make it easier to help me for my problem. My phone has unlocked bootloader but it isnt root.Can you help me please:crying:

Turn off ur phone and go to flashmode(holding back button and connect ur usb)and Flash a firmware using flashtool

Try getting on flashtool and booting up a stock or custom ftf, than root it using flashtool and go back and flash your kernal and rom afterwards
I just softbricked my lt28h by flashing gi kernel from cwm.....
It just loops all the time, sony logo blanck screen sony logo etc.. and worst part is that no led is blinking no matter wich combi i use
so no flashmode no cwm , anyone now of something to try ??
would really appreciate it

Edit:actually its even worse, no contact through buttons at all, just slight light turned on in screen...crap i´ve got a paperclip insted off a phone

Use Flashtool and reinstall the ROM. Now, I know you said that the buttons combination does not work, but it must work when you put your phone in flashmode by plugging in the cable in it while keeping pressed the volume down button. It must work, this button combination has nothing to do with the kernel. So try it.

Hello, my case is as follows:
I have a Sony Xperia SL (LT26ii) and Roote, install CWM Recovery and all this ... What happened was I researching and inventing things that ought not try putting on one rom that i got here on XDA, install it through the recovery and the phone will reboot. Then I began to start the phone with the new ROM but suddenly restart and from that time nothing more was lit with sony logo and not much else happening. It just turn off and turn on the red light when connected to load. I have tried everything, Press the power buttons, camera and volume + and nothing, nothing happens .. Does not connect to the PC, not just restarts, just turn on the red light when charging and turns on occasionally with sony logo but then again the red light ... I want to know what options I have or could do to save my phone!

the flashtool does not recognize the phone
Start flashtool......switch off your phone.....then connect your data cable to computer and press volume download button while connection it to your phone....green light will be there and now you are in flash mode.....
Do to faulty charging port, i have given it for repair, in the course of repair my battery has got drained.
Now i have put it in charge and the RED led lights up, it charges for some 2 hours and RED led goes off, no indication at all.
Once again, if i remove cable and connect back RED led lights up.
Its been more than 24hours and phone is in charge most time, but it has never turned on.
Please assist me, ? ... Will charging with a dock help ?
