Accesory not supported

Hi guys..i am using ICS Neo2 Play rom with Lupus ICS+GB kernel. As mentioned in the title, my Play shows the message when attaching any handsfree..any solution, please?

This happens to me when I try using any apple headphones but I don't think there's a solution

But I attached with Sony's original that comes with Neo L. I think it is a bug for ICS Neo2 Play, isn't?

It isn't a bug of the rom u get this error because SONY ERICSSON phones doesn't support SONY's headphone
Sent from my R800i using xda premium
Well I believe that SONY uses a wire mapping format called omtp while SONY ERICSSON uses a format called ctia which are incompatible with each other so any device that says accessory not supported is using a difrent wireing format

Where to get wire connection scheme, to make converter?
Well you can find a cheep one on eBay or amazon and I got those backwards Sony now uses ctia because of apple :banghead:

It seems that there is no way to make it works on my Play except using an adapter. I was thinking that the problem is the rom itself..anyway thank u guys

Probably just need to free the 'rotator' as the water has stuck it.
Otherwise send it in to your Sony Service centre for repair.
