Swiping Away GMail Notifications - Samsung Galaxy Nexus

Hi everyone
Just wanted to ask, has there ever been a mod developed where swiping a GMail notification away in the notification bar automatically marks it as read?
Its quite annoying swiping away emails and then finding them all marked as unread later thus having to manually mark them as read.
I dont have a Galaxy Nexus currently but I plan to pick up the next LG Nexus. If the feature is available on this Nexus it should also be available on that?

I wouldn't mind a mod that deleted or archived the email when you swipe away the notification.

[Q] How to ungroup Gmail messages

Is there a way to ungroup messages in GMail? It keeps adding all messages into one message from one sender..
I don't think so. That's the whole point of Gmail, it threads messages by subject.
Yes You Can..

By default, Gmail was originally designed to keep all the messages and replies with the same subject line grouped together in one convenient place. While this “conversation view” was intended to spare users the chore of rooting around the In box for a particular message in the thread, it can be unwieldy when a lot of people are contributing to the conversation.
Google realized that not everybody likes having the messages clumped together, so Gmail now makes it optional. To ungroup your messages, log into your Gmail account on the Web, click on the gear icon in the upper right corner and choose Mail Settings. On the General tab, in the Conversation View area, click the button next to “Conversation view off” and then click the Save Changes button at the bottom of the settings page.

[Q] Message Icon with Unread Message Notification

Sorry If this is a common question and I have posted in this Section cos I didnt find a thread for tab 7
I have recently updated my GT-p6200 to ICS(Hate it) and found lots of bugs.
1. Message Icon in the home screen is showing 1 unread message without any unread one (The Menu Message icon is Normal) , when i restart all backs to normal.
Please hit a solution for me.
2. I had Chrome like New tab feature with fav sites widgets in my old gingerbread browser and this ICS browser is normal, Any thing can be done for this?
3. It hangs a lot when many apps are opened simultaneously even when Ram is free.
Please give some soln at-least for the first questn as it is the most irritating one.
Please Mod move this questn to a relevant section if done a mistake.
Thanks

[Q] Google Calendar Notification Checklist

Ok, I have a question about the Google calendar notifications in the status bar. I promise, I have hunted around on the internet, other forums, and XDA. I think I know the answer, but am double checking for community wisdom.
I love the Nexus. However, one thing I miss from TouchWiz and MotoBlue is when calendar notifications come up as a popup or in the status bar I could use the checkboxes to pick which ones I wanted to dismiss/snooze and which ones I wanted to delete. Is there any way to retrieve this functionality on the Nesus? I've tried several roms with no luck.
Thanks in advance for any possible help.

Lock screen calendar icon - can it be 'live'?

All,
The calendar icon available on the home screen would be more valuable is it actually showed the current date as opposed to always showing 31. Is there a way to affect this change? (One guess would be to change the calendar app, but I am OK with it as it can be easily sync'ed with Outlook.)
