Just got mine today and this thing is great. It came with 57% charged. The back cover fits seamlessly just like stock. So far it has lasted 8 hours plus with 20% remaining. I will drain it and recharge it to see how long it will last. I would highly recommend Anker. They shipped it fast, too.:good:
Please post updates. I was considering getting a hyperion (currently using QCell), but I want to see it this is for you. Might be a better choice for me.

You can find it on ebay or amazon. I bought mine directly from Anker from ebay with free shipping. It was fast I got it in a few days. I highly recommend Anker. I have this for about a week now and the battery still going strong. If on standby it can last at least 2 days. Even with surfing and watch movies or using LTE the battery exceeds every expectation. I don't have to plug in the phone as much as before. Heck, I haven't plugged in except at night when going to bed. I also got a 10,000 portable charger from Anker and I never have to worry about running out of juice wherever I go. Just get it and you won't be disappointed just because the price and the quality. I even got an extended case for it to protect the phone. My phone is now complete.
i've tried both the anker and the hyperion, and even though the hyperion is 4200 mAh, i've noticed a much better performance.
still both work great for their purpose.

Unfortunately the hyperion is not available in Europe while the Anker is, and is also seems cheaper (they even have a good free delivery deal on amazon.de), so if no NFC model appears in the next weeks I will just have to settle for Anker
My worst is thinking about have a bad and fat SIII after put this battery and cover.
Can someone give me some real photos of the battery and cover and the sIII with both of them?
If someone does it, I will be very happy!

Hi guys i have a question, the galaxy Ace and our Gio have exactly the same battery?
Cause my original battery turns "fat" so i buy a generic battery for the Ace, cause i se it its the same. But when i used it. It las only a few hours, like 2 or 3 max.
So, i return it and take another from a ace phone too, but in my first "discharge" it took less than 2 hours!!!
The battery has to be adapted to my phone cause its new? Or my phone charge its f#%&ing with me and i must charge it with a universal charger?
Ty for reading
So thats my question, o i have to huy the original one??

The new LG Optimus G Pro that's about to drop on AT&T will the stock battery out of that fit the Note 2 with the Note 2s stock battery cover?
The Pros battery is a tiny bit bigger in mah and just want to get the biggest battery possible using the stock battery cover on my Note 2.
If it'll fit where can I purchase it? Amazon and eBay don't have it.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using Tapatalk 2
You're not gonna find that answer here, you need to wait til it drops and ask their forum the dimensions.

Id have to say it is very unlikley as most phone batteries are custom for each device and it is unlikley that batteries would be transferable except in related devices like the OG galaxy S and the Captivate Fascinate ect

Why don't you just buy a extended battery 6200mah from Amazon eBay. Its your choice were to spend your money!! Instead of worrying about a battery from a different manufacture.

Um, that battery is only 40 mah larger. You are not going to notice the difference between 3100 mah note 2 battery vs the 3140 mah GPro battery to worry about whether it will fit or not.

Are we talking a true 40 mah difference here ?
No dis-respect intended OP, but 40 mah would equate to maybe one 2 minute phone call, or perhaps a few mms messages in difference.
Certainly not worth the price, or even the trouble in pulling the battery cover....IMHO
Basic changes in the rom would yield far more than 40 mah in power savings. Even a basic governor change or clock speed change would get you that easily.
The gain with that battery upgrade is pointless really. ...g

That is a good idea. ..
Once the batteries become available, buy one and test it.
And although it will make no appreciable difference in battery life, you will have your answer and can report your findings.
The answers you got are valid, because we don't own LG devices, and because we can't even buy the battery yet anyway.
It looks like you get to be patient zero on this mod.
Happy battery buying. ...g
Edit:
The current note 2 battery is a guarantee for the same money and the same output. ..g

Yes...be happy with it. You can get 7 hours of screen time with the right ROM and kernel now.
How much more will that unproved battery net you?
To me it is not cost effective... and not worth the time to try to get.
Yes...like to mod my phone...but I won't cut off my nose to spite my face.Yes I could do all types of mods to it, but it has to be worth the effort.
The battery we have, if working optimally, which requires you to set up to do,works great right now with out any modding in the intended docks designed for the phone...
If you want to change batteries for craps & grins.... nock your self out.
Mac
I agree with all these guys there is no reason to switch batteries with this phone I get 6 hours of screen time at about 21 hours average. If your so worried about needing more juice look into a real extended battery 40mah is not gonna do $hit
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using Tapatalk 2
Now I would love to see a battery with our dimensions that had an appreciable mAh rating difference, so I can relate to the hope the op feels....

Also interested in this. You can usually see the phones battery percent via the settings in the phone. I get about to about 50% after a 8 hour work day, only using my phone on breaks via wifi. But to test it, no idea.

Check to see if the battery has any bulge/swelling on it. If it's not charging correctly like long charge time, check the charger too.

So I ordered the battery from Amazon after all the glowing reviews on xda...

Also I'm very impressed with the battery cover / case so far.

Hello,
isn't it a bit risky to use such a battery in very hot environment (110°-120°) ? I'm thinking about getting one for a travel where I'll need autonomy, but I prefer avoiding a blast. :-]]
Another question, does the Samsung wall charger stops when 100% is reached ?

You may need a different cable. Some cheap cables only allow the S3 to charge at 150 ma. On a normal charger and cable I get charged in about 3 hours.
Last week, with a couple of hours of hard usage daily, I unplugged Monday morning at 7 am and the battery didn't die until 11pm on Friday. Awesome freaking battery.

I've bought dozens of phone batteries, over the years, from wildly varied sources. If I didn't already have 2 spare for the V20, I might give it a try. I've had zero lemons before. If my phone has a swap able battery I always prefer to use them instead of the RV Camper shell the ZL adds.

And look like you're carrying a breeze block. You gota admit them extended batteries are pig ugly.
And the battery in the OP is the same physical size as the OEM so won't have the capacity stated.
