[Q] Roaming on AOKP - Sprint Samsung Galaxy S III

Hello everyone, unfortunately I am no developer so that is the point of this great forum.
I would just like to know if I can enable roaming by moving some files from CM10 to ktoonz and Task's AOKP build?
They stated before they didn't want to enable it due to people having higher costs on their bill...well we here at sprint have nationwide roaming...
also a simple disclosure can help solve the suing kind.
But either way they are not doing it, and I love their rom. Since this is an issue to not have roaming for me I would love to get roaming to work.
Please if anyone has any insight if its an easy fix let me know.

You checked "Yes this is a question"
Guess where it belongs?

My grandmother once said if you don't have something nice to say to someone then don't say anything at all.......then she never talked to me again...lol.
As a note I have already put in a request to try and seperate out the Sprint development to avoid crippling phones. Until then please all be careful what you are flashing.
Hello Kenny! Will you be in charge of the Sprint forum, too? (If it opens up)

Nope. He is still here as well as 4 others assigned to this forum. Forums with a lot of traffic are assigned extra mods. Just wanted to introduce myself although some former Epic users already know me.

Thanks. yeah we are told when applying that you don't need knowledge of the device you are assigned to, just knowledge of forum rules. We are assigned 5 device forums with other mods. A lot of people I know are getting the Sprint Galaxy Nexus. I am stuck until July and will see what phone looks best then. It looks like there is an excellent group of mods here already so will do my best to just help out as your friendly neighborhood moderator.
Congrats and welcome!
Greatings to you from Neo
Congratz... always great to have friendly and helpful mods around...

I had Sprint (Epic) but couldn't take the POS service. Broke the contract and went to VZW and have been extremely happy with the phone and company.

[Q] Can I switch my Epic to PagePlus?

My Epics still do what I need, but I have terrible reception in my new place and need to switch providers. I might as well lower the monthly bill at the same time, so I think PPC would be a good target.
How realistic is this? I'm thinking about paying someone who knows what they're doing to make the switch. Are the cell frequencies compatible enough? Will I get working MMS? Will the voicemails suck? Can I still flash ROMs after the switch? Is there anything I should know?
Thanks for any advice.

I haven't ranted in a while but this time it's due..
I really don't get you.. You start threads all over so there is no excuse for you not knowing that Questions go in Q&A. You must know the rules (at least somewhat) because you harped on Garwynn and I for going off topic.
It's people like you that tick me off. And I hope you don't come back with a reply like "I'm just a kid" since we have 13 year olds here who are developers.
You have started threads and people tell you to use the search function and you would have found your answer. Hell, you don't even look outside of the E4GT Section.. Just like your question on deodexing.
You've asked for help, I tried to advise on other issues and you completely ignore what I or any other very helpful replies you've had.
So to answer your question, here's the last spoon I give you. Congratulations, you've made the second person I've used the ignore button on.
Figure it out from here..
i searched the topic and cant find it. btw i meant to post in the Q&A. sorry about that. also im sorry about not listening to your advice on the GC01 thread. there was just no other way to explain it. and i would like a mod to please move this thread to Q&A.

Yes it can be done. It will require some foot work and very heavy reading on your end.
All the info you need to do it can be found (directly or indirectly) in this thread.

CM10 Based Roms

Poked around a little and didn't see an answer. Was wondering if MMS works on LTE? Came from the S3 and there were issues there. Didn't know if they carried over.
Thanks.

I'm using the cm10.1 nightlies with no problems. Although some people are still having issues with the stock messaging app.

[Q] How do I update the bootloader on my rooted AT&T Galaxy S3?

My apologies in advance, I'm sure this topic has been covered, but my googlefu is just not strong enough to find what I'm looking for.
I have a rooted AT&T Galaxy S3. It's running ktoonsez's AOKP rom. Recently, I noticed the rom has not been updating. Some googling seems to indicate that an outdated bootloader is the problem. How do I upload to the latest bootloader?
Sorry again, I feel really dumb that I'm unable to find the solution for this on my own. I'm sure it's been covered before.
