there's a way to add usb host to 4.0.3 roms?
or a kernel for IML74K that have it enabled?
It's enabled on stock 4.03..
Google added usb host support officially starting with the 4.02 kernel..
afaik, all 4.0.3 kernels have usb host by default. I just used my USB OTG cable to connect a SIXAXIS and a USB flash drive with no problems, using bigxie's 4.0.3 AOSP rom + franco's kernel.
Hi
I'm trying to get CIFS mount to work on my Arc (not s) with Sony stock ICS.
I followed this guide:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1072214
According to the thread, the modules are compiled against Kernel 2.6.32.9 and ICS seems to still use that kernel.
But when I try to load the cifs module the phone reboots.. (all other modules in the package loads correctly).
Am I missing something?
Anyone that got this working on stock ICS?

Im currently using xperia v2 Rom on Optimus P350. Does the kernel really support USB OTG. If not pls give me a solution to use it..
I just bought an usb otg cable and it works properly with keyboard, mouse and usb stick.
But I realize there are no way for it to work with joystick, since there are no joydev.ko module for for joypad.
My rom is uHD 3.0.2 with Lupus Kernel v14 ICS, xperia arc S.
Do anyone have the working solution?
I have tried joydev.ko from another device and it failed to work.

Hey there
I have Sony Ericsson LT18i with unlocked bootloader
I have tried to install GB LT18i_4.0.2.A.0.62 and then flashed doomkernel v22 and flash modules via recovery and when I was trying to connect to an open wifi network it gave me optainning IP adress and still like this for a while then it give me Limited connectivity and when I try a secured wifi network it works like magic.
I also tried LT18i_4.1.B.0.587 with doomkernel V5 and then flashed the modules via recovery and still the same problem also it is the same with ArcKnight Kernel and ADV STOCK KERNEL and Stock ICS Kernel.
and the same problem was with all of them.
