So I'm pretty darn happy with my note. What I don't like is that I can't do quick replies with texts (in the status drop down) like I could using the AOKP rom on my Epic 4G touch.

Flash jellybomb rom. It has the pop up feature for texts

You can hit menu, add text, hit "text templates" and select a quick reply. I think they can be edited in settings somewhere.
Not as easy as a dropdown, but at least it's there.
Edit: or did you already know about that and were just noting that it takes a few steps to get there...if so, sorry.
I just use handcent.

I'm talking about how in aokp you get a notice of an sms in the notification bar and you can reply from the notification bar.

I commend the work done but just not my cup of tea. Reminds me of taking a brand new car, sanding it, and going flat black.
Some people would love it but not me.

Are you really complaining about how a stock ROM doesn't have the same capabilities or features of a highly modified ROM?

Yep, read it. And it says he is unhappy how he could reply to text messages in the notification area like on his E4GT running AOKP (which is a modified ROM)...perhaps you should reread the post

This link should help you:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1662622
Has pretty much everything from the S3.
Oh and this one as well which is the base used in the ROM. Just scroll down to addons
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=38481161
Also a simple google search would help! Reduces a lot of the clutter in the forums But if you can't find it then you may post!

I don't want a Galaxy s3. I don't like the phone itself. Plus why pay 500 for that when I can just put a Galaxy S3 rom on this phone and it be the exact same? But I did a search and didn't find anything. But I finally got the Widgets.

When you sign into your gmail account you have the option to sync contacts, calendar, and a few other things. Make sure in your phone settings under accounts and sync you check contact sync is marked within Google.
Also every time you create a new contact assuming you're on touchwiz it will ask you which account you want to sync with. Make sure you click Google/gmail.
Its pretty simple and as long as you are signed into gmail Google pretty much handles all your contacts instantly.
All this information is fairly easy to do a quick Google search for.

My faq thread used to be stickied and placed under the correct phone Q&A (L900) now it's been moved to the international version (n7100 I believe) Q&A and unsticked, what happened?

I'm sure it was accidentally moved... And unstickied, I'm going to guess here (I didn't do it) but its probably going to be moved to general. Just a guess. I asked the other mods (from the thread its in now) to move it back. I can not do it.
So are there any Devs out there thinking of taking over development of MiUi v5? It would be great because there are a ton of people out there that use what we have up, but it could be made better.

Well the message he's trying to get across is that the question has already been asked, and as for most questions asked in XDA someone has already asked it. A simple search would have brought you to that post. Also questions go in Q&A not in General. I'm pretty sure a mod will have to come along and move this post.
