The Google Play Store has been updated to a newer version 3.9.16.Some new feature have been added to it such as new notification style and the option to delete an app from the app list itself. For those of you who haven't got the update yet , you can get the .apk file here:

EDIT:I forgot to mention...long press on one of the apps and you will be able to select as many apps as you want and delete them together..

Works!!
Works great. Thanks. But can only remove uninstalled apps from the "all" section in my apps list. Installed apps still require going to the app page and uninstalling it.

Is there any way to download all of these as a single flashable package?
Do I need to be running a particular ROM or kernel to use these?

I do not believe so :/ but I could be wrong and one could probably be made but would need to be updated any time one of these apps received an update.
They are just modified .apk so ROM and kernel are not specific

I wouldn't mind knowing aswell, I deleted the HTCLockScreen apk to leave me the stock Android one but you can't put widgets on it, unlike on the GE.

The only difference is the sound it makes when you activate voice search and the margin width and height between the home screen and the search bar (it's less). The only thing I was waiting for was the new app drawer icon- but I guess that's only with Material, so it's pretty much L exclusive at this point.

works perfectly in moto e. excellent. thanks a lot :good::good::good::good::good:
I read you'll need to change something in the build.prop to enable material look. It was noted somewhere in the "Android L apps" thread in apps section.
Let me know if you cannot find it. I'll try to locate it and post a link.
Edit: Found it here.
You'll find the build.prop hack on the 1st post. Make sure you read the warning as well.
